How to understand ultimate Dharma

Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur indicates in his purport of Bhagavad Gita 1.11 ,
that Arjuna thought Dharma  sastra ( duties ) were more important than Artha sastra ( political considerations  ). However, Krishna indicated  above both are the Jnana Sastra , * (development of philosophical and spiritual widom ), and that was  more important .  Krishna indicated to Arjuna that with Jnana Sastra knowledge , he would be well able to discriminate and apply  successful applications  of  knowledge based on dualism . These are the ultimate considerations that he should hold in his heart as the topmost importance, beyond the material body , mind, and any  material considerations.  . The problems we all face are forgetting our ultimate relationship with God . We are  putting other plans within the  mortal world above the plan and wishes of our most intimate  well wisher , Lord  Krishna.
The Artha sastra indicates how political structure should operate , but such structures also have elements of  Dharma, which means they must be   properly carried out duties within morality and ethical standards. If those who practice politics discard Dharma, they should be rejected as hopeless leaders who will only bring great harm . Ultimately,  only  jnana sastra can help one understand Dharma and Artha sastra . Jnana, also when linked with pure Bhakti, can take one to the  trancendental knowledge of Krishna… and ultimately to spontaneously loving Divinity .

Certainly, in today’s society, we see a vast array of conflicting views on what should be correctly viewed as justified and fair political structures and practices . Also, there are debates on how one should  regard commitments to duties and responsibilities in family and social relationships . Liberalisation can change everything for the worse , especially if scientific materialism is at its heart .We can also say with the introduction of subjective sciences wherein speculations are accepted as fact based science and best guessing is  held in high asteem , and with logic with rationale appearing to take second place , things are  going a little off track to say the least when it come to bone fide methods of  aquiring knowledge .

The original Vedas, are eternal , in other words pure knowledge is always present , it stems from Divinity Himself and its inspirational and transferred into  the hearts of the seekers of truth. Truth is always present,  but can we see it ? Divinity has the  responsibility to present truth, and the real intelligensia understands its various forms.  The honest intelligentsia brings the proper balance . An  integration and applications of Artha sastra,  Dharma sastra, and  jnana sastra within Bhakti ( devotional) sastra in all its progressive steps are well known to the Vedic Brahminical intelligentsia.  Without the guidance and knowledge of the essential fundermentals  required for human existence, which will bring purposeful and progressive lives based on dualism, we are simply decending into sophisticated animals who fight over territories and live for one life of sense gratification , like a street dog . The  philosophical outlooks and the arts, which can open hearts , and truely objective sciences are neglected or ignored .

Understand ladies …and their inherant qualities that we learn from .

The members of the Vedic societies should be very clear that when the Vedas or Bhagavatam refer to women as “less intelligent,” this term should not be misunderstood . As Srila BR Sridhar Swami says, women set the greatest example by their soft and submissive nature . Bold , puffed up and arrogantely situated menfolk are not so familiar with the spiritual consciousness connections of humility and surrender that are required for spiritual life . Ladies often by nature display this quality,  and Srimati Radharani, along with Her friends and associates, demonstrate how this consciousness towards the supreme Autocrat Krishna is  astounding even to God , and naturally He feels obliged to reciprocate with His heartfelt love . Ladies being simple hearted does not mean less intelligent,  its simply means them quite rightly being family oriented , kind and sensitive to family cultures such as child care and setting up a stable home life  and supporting the husband in many many ways . It has nothing to do with the workings of an intellect, which vary according to karma in both men and women. Naturally, ladies, in many cases, can become overly attached to a temporary family life and can find it more difficult to practice some elements of spiritual life , particularly intelligently situating themselves in detached consciousness. However, Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu Sankirtana movement brings ladies very quickly to the highest levels of consciousness as much as a man in the highest principles of buddhi yoga and can teach and preach just like a man .

The teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, the conversation between Krishna and Arjuna, cover five primary subjects .

On a geopolitical note …

From the Vedic perspective, we can chime with those who advocate traditional theological cultures and family traditions .
But equally, the Vedic students understand the principles of non-violence , so in Vedic terms, it means all around non violence , to every living being . The Vedic students are strict vegetarians , but putting that to one side , any Christian, Hindu , Muslim or Jew who is not calling out recent murderous campaign’s in Gazza and Africa by non godly persons who are atheistic leaders in reality , but in  their madness convince themselves God is on their side , are not living up to their faith , they are hypocrites .  Killing  women and children without any condemnation by so-called religious persons shows they are not following God . Defending ones homeland is  legitimate, of course,  so in those cases, warfare is sometimes necessary, and the rules of war are within the Vedas ,  as well as within international laws . No women and children, or non combatant persons, should be harmed .
In 2020 and beyond , Putin warned Nato not to move on to his Russian borders with militarism and attempts  to infiltrate Russian cultures with liberalism that threatened family and traditional cultures. Full proof of governance and compliance and its  implications .

The universal affairs from the orbits of the celestial planets and the movements of the solar winds down to the supervision of the life needs of all living beings , ie. First , if truth and Divinity are to be understood,  purity of consciousness is required .Truth will decend and be realised by the grace of the absolute truth .The processes of karma yoga ,  niskama karma yoga,  leading to jnana yoga, and pure Bhakti yoga are outlined in the Bhagavad Gita.  The therapeutic processes of using the very energies that bind one to liberate one are employed by the expert spiritual physician. In full knowledge of Divinity, one will see that everything is happening by the order and desire of Krishna. This consciousness is Krishna consciousness .  Design is symptomatic, and it facilitates the macro and micro world ,this is objectively seen and is taking place .The envious never like to see quality that they don’t possess , but by purified consciousness even the envious can be filled with love and appreciation , thus within the governance and compliance systems are purificatory programmes situated within every culture deliberately . A prisoner  who has placed himself in prison needs reformed thinking and rehabilitation, and just as the state provides that, so similarly, Divinity does .

A genius can come up with all sorts of original ideas and can solve any problems that might occur during  a design process and consequently make adjustments  in various ways .As well, the similar proved  engineering processes can be tweaked and variety and variations for numerous purposes can be employed. Beauty is also an important part of design,  designed and successful products or machines are generally very attractive.

Translation

This material nature, which is one of my energies, is working under my direction, O son of Kuntī, producing all moving and nonmoving beings. Under its rule, this manifestation is created and annihilated again and again.

Indeed if this is true there must be evidence of fine design,  engineering , beauty,  math symmetry and importantly the process of how everything forms , the codes ,and information exchanges and chemical signalling are the objective sciences , that can not be ignored.

In India, as in other countries, there are many wells and small ponds .
The system of village folk is  such that they use a particular pond for different purposes . Some for drinking , some for washing clothes , some to bath in . Each pond is allocated for various reasons for a set of purposes .
A great lake, however, can simultaneously serve all purposes of all ponds because of the lakes immense size, which means the purity is always maintained whatever task is  carried out .
Similarly the Vedas itself  is like a great lake, the Vedas serves many purposes for different classes of persons . Some persons are very absorbed in enjoying matter , some less so , and some on the verge of trancendental affairs, others deeply absorbed.
The person who understands the real purposes of the Vedas in practical ways and can apply them accordingly should be approached. They  know how to guide different people in their needs for a  gradual progression in spiritual consciousness and such a person is the knower of the Vedas , and can be compared to a ” lake like person” who can  apply Vedic knowledge  correctly  in a mature fashion . Such broadminded persons, who apply Vedic applications ,  supercede those who are unnecessarily fixated on one particular aspect of it , and who  lack the understanding of  its real purposes  , which is always  social and spiritual mobility for all . Some immature persons are too  attached to the set purpose of particular ponds and are unable to understand or access  or approach the” Vedic lakes “ The Vedas has also been compared to an immense tree ,an upside down tree , branches down,  roots upwards . The leaves of the tree are the different aspects of hymns of Vedic sounds , one who knows the purpose of the sounds and is able to correctly discriminate between them can cut down the tree of temporary affairs and point one to the origins of this reflected tree , in the spiritual realms of varigatedness.

Krishna knows everything?…there is no Robotic rasa

The acaryas have  explained that an over emphasis on oneness or an over emphasis on difference is incorrect.
Thus, simultaneously and inconceivably one and difference is the correct tattva .
And Srila Jiva Goswami in his Tattva Sandarbha says God makes the impossible possible.

When we exhibit our inherant nature and volunteer our love to  God, this is an exhibition of the part and parcel of God ,who is different from God, uniting in love with God, who is different.  As such, there is no robotic rasa, and God does not exactly know when or how deeply our exhibition of love will occur. Love is volunteered, and love for the unlimited has an unlimited capacity to increase, and the ever increasing ocean of blissful life is described by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and the six Goswami’s of Vrndavana.
The clue is ..
Prabhupada says we are not dead stones ..
The high court judge knows the destination of the criminal.
Do you think the high court judge knows the destination of an honest man ?

Further, to understand the principles of Bhakti in conditioned life , you have to learn to love ..
Why some spirit souls  spontaneously loved Krishna in His various forms and why some didn’t initially…is the exhibition of freewill , of  who or what we love ….We , being the expansions of Balarama or Mula Sankarsan . Some of the beings ,  it appears , due to independent spirit , were transferred to Mahavisnu, from the Tatastha regions or Brahman,  and the transportational glance into matter took place ,  where an attempt to find  loving relationships takes place , it is never found in fullness.

Thus, here we are .

Love is always voluntary..
When you choose to  love God  is your free will , the potential for love is inherant but sometimes misplaced .
Love is also ever expanding, so it’s  newer and newer in quality.
Krishna does not know exactly when we will fully love him or how it will feel in terms of intensity….that’s our choice of freedom.

As we previously noted, Prabhupada said ..
” We are not dead stones,”
As a high court judge knows the destination of the criminal, similarly, God knows how conditioned nature responds , i.e., determinism of the  responsive universe . Thus in conditioned life, God knows everything of our life and choices  and how exactly we are conditioned .
But Narada Muni is free to wonder because pure love is always trusted ….and exhibited freely and unpredictability.
The more we learn to love God, the more freedom and unpredictability of loves emotions , they are expressed without God knowing how they exactly will be ..that brings the highest pleasure to God .
We are not predicable downloads of God . There is no robotic rasa .

In the higher realms of Rasa, one can be at one with the residents of Vraja.( pranaya) and the unpredictability becomes even more unpredictable , such as the crooked path of Parikiya rasa . The union and separation of love are described by our acaryas. Directed by the assistants of the Supreme Goddess of Fortune Srimati Radharani, one can be graced and enter into some understanding of this pranaya oneness of love .
The more conditioned a person is, the more predictable they become,  its a forgone conclusion how a sex , drug, or drink addict will act .
