The members of the Vedic societies should be very clear that when the Vedas or Bhagavatam refer to women as less intelligent it simple means being family oriented and kind and sensitive to family cultures such as child care and setting up a stable home life ,Its nothing to do with the workings of an intellect, which vary according to karma in both men and women. Naturally ladies in many cases can become overly attached to a temporary family life and can find it more difficult to practice some elements of spiritual life , particularly intelligently situating themselves in detached consciousness. Sākhyam (Friendship): Cultivating a relationship of friendship with the Lord.
Ātma-nivedanam (Complete Surrender): Surrendering one’s body, mind, and soul completely to the Lord.
Narada Muni instructed Prahlada Maharaja from within the womb of his mother , the child in the womb can hear so many things , Narada Muni instructed Prahlada’s mother knowing that the great Devotee Prahlada was in her womb . If one listens to Pralada Maharaja’s teachings to his class mates , one should understand that Pralada is giving an overall picture of material engagements within the material world that begins at childhood but is also a continuance from a previous life , the teachings are meant for everyone. Applications to such teachings are within the Bhagavad Gita and the Puranas and the Srimad Bhagavatam. Gradually or quickly according to previous lives and sukriti one extracts oneself from the illusory energies, there is not just one path , yoga consists of Karma yoga, niskama karma yoga, jnana yoga ,featuring jnana sunya bhakti ,and astanga yoga. Bhakti added in any degree moves one along these paths .In some cases, immediately one can take up high levels of Bhakti , but not every one is suitable. What does Lord Krishna say about the nature of demons ?
O son of Prtha, in this world there are two kinds of created beings. One is called the divine and the other demonic. I have already explained to you at length the divine qualities. Now hear from Me of the demoniac.
They say that this world is unreal, that there is no foundation and that there is no God in control. It is produced of sex desire, and has no cause other than lust.
Following such conclusions, the demoniac, who are lost to themselves and who have no intelligence, engage in unbeneficial, horrible works meant to destroy the world.
The demoniac, taking shelter of insatiable lust, pride and false prestige, and being thus illusioned, are always sworn to unclean work, attracted by the impermanent.
They believe that to gratify the senses unto the end of life is the prime necessity of human civilization. Thus there is no end to their anxiety. Being bound by hundreds and thousands of desires, by lust and anger, they secure money by illegal means for sense gratification.
The demoniac person thinks: So much wealth do I have today, and I will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it will increase in the future, more and more. He is my enemy, and I have killed him; and my other enemy will also be killed. I am the lord of everything, I am the enjoyer, I am perfect, powerful and happy. I am the richest man, surrounded by aristocratic relatives. There is none so powerful and happy as I am. I shall perform sacrifices, I shall give some charity, and thus I shall rejoice. In this way, such persons are deluded by ignorance.
Thus perplexed by various anxieties and bound by a network of illusions, one becomes too strongly attached to sense enjoyment and falls down into hell.
Self-complacent and always impudent, deluded by wealth and false prestige, they sometimes perform sacrifices in name only without following any rules or regulations.
Bewildered by false ego, strength, pride, lust and anger, the demon becomes envious of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is situated in his own body and in the bodies of others, and blasphemes against the real religion.
Those who are envious and mischievous, who are the lowest among men, are cast by Me into the ocean of material existence, into various demoniac species of life.
Attaining repeated birth amongst the species of demoniac life, such persons can never approach Me. Gradually they sink down to the most abominable type of existence.
⁹The man who has escaped these three gates of hell, O son of Kunti, performs acts conducive to self-realization and thus gradually attains the supreme destination.
Our responsibility is to know and identify certain behaviours and to protect ourselves and communities, and stand up for justice and spiritual enlightenment based on morality, honesty, and respect for all beings.
Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has brought everyone the process of congregational chanting of the Holy names , along with personal meditation on the holy names that are revealing the trancendental realms and varigatedness of Vrndavana Dharma. Trancendental sound purifies the atmosphere of the world and an individual heart and brings real intelligence to be able to see things as they are . Unwanted things are carried life after life , careful cleaning is needed and where to clean within the deep subtle heart and mind needs to be learned by those who are expert cleaners . One should not be expecting respect or a following, and giving respect to everyone is the key to success in chanting and reaching the esoteric trancendental planes of Krishna’s eternal pastimes with His family and friends . When Srila AC Bhavtivedanta Swami Prabhupada formed his GBC he did so for a reason to form an intelligentsia, the intelligentsia are made up of different types of persons, some very scholarly, some very devotional and advanced in the highest levels of pure Bhakti and some excellent practical spiritualists.
