  • Srimad Bhagavatam, the essence of Vedic culture.

    Nov 7th, 2025

Bring good fortune to your family or community

This Srimad Bhagavatam translated and with commentaries of Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is representative of the essence of the teachings of the complete Vedas . Leading scholars worldwide have never before had such access to these teachings  in such broad format, what to speak of the general public .

The word “why” is a very  popular word on Google , indeed, the Vedas indicates , unless the human asks…” Who am I  ?  why do I exist ,  why and how  did existence begin ” , one is  wasting a valuable opportunity,  animals don’t have rational, logic, or  enquiring minds, but they are as conscious as you or I .

William Paley , in 1850 once said anyone  finding a watch walking on a Moor on its examination  would naturally conclude its fine engineering and design is the work of a creative consciousness because of its   intelligent design. Sir Isaac Newton  said that each individual thumb print of human beings is clear evidence for individual design,…The teleological argument of a  deliberate and functional design that’s permeating everything on our planet including the creatures and men who live  remains logically strong , and of course its becoming stronger as scientific research progresses , Not weaker …….The study of the entropy of the cell and the fine tuning of the universe  that Sir Fred Hoyle referred to as  someone monkeying with the universe is the example he gave ….some call it the  goldilocks phenomena  ….,everything is just right , … not too hot or too cold, not  too much gravitational force not too little,  just the right amount of oxygen ….and  certainly the opening of the Srimad Bhagavatam affirms this  supervisory element……the opening sloka declares Divinity is directly and indirectly conscious of every aspect of creation . He  says he is inside and outside the  creation  and it’s his ( vibhutis ) ..or his deliberate energies that are at work….Life comes from life….
The Srimad Bhagavatam  is a series of one to one conversations through time and  with  different dialogue partners  ,  weaving in and out  there are no chronological orders   . It consists of references  to histories and  lessons that can be learned…. either from Divinity Himself or from  His devotees. These are defined as factual events , or illustrative stories emphasising key and important philosophical points .The Bhagavatam also appears  and dissappear in the long course of 311 trillion years , the time span of  this universe .  ….like the sun rising  and setting , wisdom comes and goes in cyclic cycles .
The engineer of this alloted universe  Bramha has 4.5 billion of our years as his 12 hours ..and when  he sleeps a partial shut down of the universe lasting for another  4.5 billion years begins , before he awakens and the  universe regenerates ,  vast parts of the universe remain unaffected.

Lord Krishna Himself is responsible for  societal affairs as well as upholding  the principles of religion ….. 5000 years ago  He was present here on earth , and when He left after completing His purposes ….he left  Vedic wisdom in many forms…actually if one acts justly and fairly life is reasonably fulfilled  automatically , peaceful and progressive  elevation of consciousness takes place …. this being deliberate Vedic synchronicities ,  if one acts against religious principles, one  degrades the  consciousness and will be helplessly entangled  in reactions and sufferings , also Vedic synchronicities.. The method to understanding the Bhagavatam is to hear knowledge  from the truthful person , they will speak about the eternal occupation of the consciousness.  Symptom of the soul is consciousness . Consciousness can be in a place where consciousness can thrive where it is surrounded by pure  conscious energy , and not the deteriating and fluctuating matter made of atomic particals forming elements , molecules and compounds …….The sages  in answer to the question ” What happens to Krishna’ s good advice when he left earth ” was answered by Sukadeva Goswami . “When Krishna leaves  this world, his instructions formulate and take  shape in the form of the Srimad Bhagavatam.”
Everything for mankind is contained within its pages , and the expert person Bhagavat, who understands the Bhagavatam, is able to extract and understand all its mysteries  Progressive steps are chalked out…..for everyone , all types of persons .
It is said that one who does wrong or suffers wrong is wrong . Krishna  favours a good council that brings  justice to all proceedings of administration, without which there is turmoil in society, including the workings of the planet . Today , it’s seen , unnecessary suffering of many many persons and creatures and misguidance on a tumultuous scale are  brought about by so-called leaders who are completely unfit to  lead . Study of the Bhagavatam brings us great security  and wisdom . Wisdom  for everyone, including family members . Wisdom and discernment are essential in life . The understanding  of the history of  science and religion are all essential ingredients to life , otherwise, mistaken ideas develop, leading to misfortune.
Wherever there is Krishna, there is always great fortune and victory.
Krishna lies within all the pages of the Bhagavatam directly or indirectly.

  • What is God ? If you say “There is no God ” we say ” What do you mean by God .

    Nov 7th, 2025

The whole process of Krishna consciousness is a  transformational one . The  principle is that everything we have , whatever it might be , should be offered in devotion for  the pleasure of Divinity.  How is He pleased ? That’s a very important question,  and how do we know He is pleased is another . It is indicated in the Vedas that God is pleased when we do things out of pure love . So naturally, the next question is,  how can one love God . That question begins to be answered when we know who God is . Before we understand who God is, we must know what God is . We can not merely say God without having any idea of what He is and what specific qualifications and qualities He might have , and how these particular qualities separate Him from every other being throughout the universes. The serious and sincere searcher of the absolute truth will not accept anything like a  sentimentalist , thoughtfulness is the foundation of real development of knowledge in any subjects,  what to speak of God .

A pure person who is actually in knowledge of God and through such knowledge has developed his love beyond merely the greatness of God should be consulted . What are their qualities ? That’s another important question.

You may be pleased to know all the above questions are answered in their fullness within the Vedas , there is not one question that the Vedas could not give answers to ..

We find many ignorant persons say ” there is no God ” , but when we say to them ” what is God ” , and “if their were a God,  how do you think you’re going to know ” …..they are clueless . The “No God ” statement comes from the unthinking and unscientific.

  • Something extraordinary

    Nov 7th, 2025

    We should know this.
The preachers and the Bhajananandis ..if they are strict Vaisnavas are both glorious .
But sometimes the Bhajananandi may find it difficult to comprehend the liberties of the preacher ..
The monks of the Scottish Island of Iona came to the mainland to preach but became a little too absorbed in the adapted process and got too absorbed the wrong way ..
So good preachers must have strong Bhajan , without which they will fail to make the correct impacts .
Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur himself and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaj were perfect examples of strictness and adapted process, which Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada followed.
    It’s a fine line …a razors edge ..

    Family line ??

Siksa comes by blessings of Sastra sanga as well as through devotees
    Trancendental knowledge is never limited.
Thus, Krishna is the Acarya himself.
If a family line Guru from a good authentic line is available and he is pure , take Diksa or Siksa from him , Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur says .
But Krishna is not limited to family lines , The holy names brought by Mahāprabhu wait for no-one, but immediately give their mercy , in some parts , it is said the Holy name is enough…but in general we accept training by association and Bhajana kriya ,anartha nrviti etc etc .
If you have your representative of Diksa Siksa all well and good …
Know though that Mahāprabhu and Nityananda prabhu have inundated the world with the trancendental Holy names , and there are great souls are taking birth to assist Them ..those souls have in themselves previously taken up this process of Krishna consciousness, as Krishna indicates in Gita , automatically they again become attracted…

  • The way of life ….

    Nov 6th, 2025

The way of the world….as it should be ..

The businessmen take care of the tradesman and workers . The political administration takes care of the businessmen . The political classes are taken care of by a lifetime kingly person dedicated to all the citizens . The kingly person is taken care of by the intelligentsia who are well versed in all the sciences , including philosophy of science that  incorporate mind , matter, and consciousness . The intelligentsia are taken care of by the previous intelligentsia and the theological , cultural  traditions incorporating  every science and catering for all psychological approaches that persons take in life . Each period of time is adapted to place and circumstance by a current intelligentsia .
Such are the ever well wishing Vedic cultural systems that are forever personally dedicated to all living beings.. They are eternal and stem from Divinity Himself.

    Current news ..

Greta Thunberg was not  invited to speak at cop out 30 ..
    It’s another cop out ..
Another globalist stunt to fool the world as yet more deadlines are passed , along with failed resolutions .
Unless dualism in real scientific terms is understood as opposed to scientific materialism , and unless  impotent materialistic religion is reinvigorated,  shunning materialism,  the world will continue to move like sophisticated animals . Lemmings running of the cliff to their own destruction, self made exploitative wars and greed led by the conglomerates who control the political classes .
Trickle-down economics never worked and never will .
Exploitation is the current economic model , there is no cooperative spirit or respect . Darwinian economics’ survival of the fittest is in vouge and led by 3rd class men .

  • How do you know you know ..

    Nov 6th, 2025

The speculative Darwinians , who are clueless about consciousness , they also can not even give a credible account of how even one part of a body might form . Ask them to make  a tiny cell or even a blade of grass from scratch. The Darwinians would have to rely on molecules already produced by ” nature ” because they can not by themselves create chemical synthesis from scratch.
Such Darwinians are so foolhardy that they suppose we have evolved into civilizations from our previous savagery ,
while  being clueless about consciousness, it’s another indication as to how unscientific and ” lost ” the Darwinians really are , sentiments and guesses are unscientific.
How do they know that consciousness is not devolving and becoming more degraded , as further and further identification with the material energies takes place. Ignorance of dualism could be taking humanity in a backwards step .
Great civilizations come and go , as the seasons do , the Vedas says we are in the dark winter periods currently, and knowledge of the potential and greatness of consciousness has been lost . Although the process of revival of inherent wisdom is always possible .

  • The esoteric that needs explanations from the pure Gaudia Vaisnava

    Nov 6th, 2025

That very personality who stole away my heart during my youth is now again my master. These are the same moonlit nights of the month of Caitra. The same fragrance of malati flowers is there, and the same sweet breezes are blowing from the kadamba  forest. I am also the same lover, yet still my mind is not happy here. I am eager to go back to that place on the bank of the Reva under the Vetasi tree. That is my desire.”

The actual deep meaning of this verse, which appears to be the hankering between some ordinary boy and girl, was known only to Svarupa Damodara. By chance, one year Rupa Gosvami was also present when Lord Caitanya recited it. After hearing the verse, Rupa Gosvami compose another verse, which described the meaning of the original verse. It was a verse spoken by Srimati Radharani to a gopi friend at Kuruksetra:

“My dear friend, now I have met My very old and dear friend Krsna on this field of Kuruksetra. I am the same Radharani, and now We are meeting together. It is very pleasant, but still I would like to go to the bank of the Yamuna beneath the trees of the forest there. I wish to hear the vibration of His sweet flute playing the fifth note within that forest of Vrndavana.”

    Madhavendra Puri  verse …
Granted to him by Radharani and chanted by Mahāprabhu in pure love .
Text 197: “O My Lord! O most merciful master! O master of Mathurā! When shall I see You again? Because of My not seeing You, My agitated heart has become unsteady. O most beloved one, what shall I do now?”

    CONTEXT..

Text 191: After saying this, Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu read the famous verse of Mādhavendra Purī. That verse is just like the moon. It has spread illumination all over the world.Text 192: Continuous rubbing increases the aroma of Malaya sandalwood. Similarly, consideration of this verse increases one’s understanding of its importance.Text 193: As the Kaustubha-maṇi is considered the most precious of valuable stones, this verse is similarly considered the best of poems dealing with the mellows of devotional service.Text 194: Actually this verse was spoken by Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī Herself, and by Her mercy only was it manifest in the words of Mādhavendra Purī.Text 195: Only Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu has tasted the poetry of this verse. No fourth man is capable of understanding it.Text 196: Mādhavendra Purī recited this verse again and again at the end of his material existence. Thus uttering this verse, he attained the ultimate goal of life.Text 197: “O My Lord! O most merciful master! O master of Mathurā! When shall I see You again? Because of My not seeing You, My agitated heart has become unsteady. O most beloved one, what shall I do now?”Text 198: When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu recited this verse, He immediately fell to the ground unconscious. He was overwhelmed and had no control over Himself

Living in love and truth is not an academic exercise, living within the laws of the land is also not exactly an academic exercise, rather inherant truthfulness , honesty and feelings of effection and love are within our deepest consciousness, our soul .
The soul can be covered by the illusions of becoming an independent enjoyer and the master of all it surveys . Thus, it gradually appears to lose inherant truth, and an increase in deceitful entanglements takes place . Underlying this, though , truth and beaulty remains , that is never destroyed. One should revive ones original pure consciousness and become happy , blissful, and nonenvious .

  • Truth will find truth

    Nov 6th, 2025

Unfortunately with social and a mainstream media 95% of people are taught what to think instead of how , and its getting worse .

One needs to aquire the means  to identify truth .

Although morals , ethics , philosophy , theological sciences as well as clear objective sciences are essential in helping us  to access truthfulness, we also need to check our own  motivations . Are we sincere searchers for truth .
A sincere searcher for truth becomes truthful and honest about their own flaws and weaknesses , an honest assessment of oneself is useful because truth is attracted to those who are honest , the positive is attracted to the negative . Humility is the first point of knowledge. One of the symptoms of truth is to see the true equality of every living being and become their well wisher .
There are many other symptoms of truth , such as not to encroach on others territories everyone has their lot , and  they deserve it , and we should be in the mind to preserve it .

Purely translated theological texts from every culture chime in the same way , as do good philosophical thoughts . Don’t let anyone get in your way to understand truth and thoughtfulness , find a truely honest teacher who has  the symptoms of truthfulness, and begin to  apply their teachings carefully,  thoughtfully, and  truthfully .

    The vedic way ..

No question of in or out .

    Heaven or hell

But rather prescribed methods of many different regulations for persons either in ignorance, in passion , in goodness , or who have transcended material living .

The Vedas teach in very practical ways that everyone can live with purpose . The outsider may look in without understanding the variables of the Vedas and how everyone is catered for
The progressive march of social and spiritual mobility for everyone is the Vedic way.

To understand truth , first understand the untruthful.
When you understand the untruthful and the qualities they have and their Modus operandi , from that point you can test the truth , the truth is self evident to the person who lives in truth .
There is no American truth , British truth ,Chinese truth, or Indian truth , truth is truth and truth comes along with beauty and harmony.
The Vedas list the four types of persons who can not surrender to truth and the five types of irreligious persons , some of whom claim affiliation to religion .
We live in the material world , and it begins with deceit , illusion, and ignoring truth .
Nevertheless, the truth and the absolute truth can be accessed by those who are seeking absolute truth . Once one thing is known in truth , everything is known

  • No risk, no gain ….how about all risk no gain .

    Nov 5th, 2025

The process of understanding God with one’s intelligence is certainly progressive, the process of giving some prayers and offering in a” I will give you this , but can you give me that ” is also certainly progressive.
But we can not fully understand and enter into a relationship with Divinity and His associates merely by intellectualism or by formal business dealing.
To enter into a relationship with Divinity or His associates headed by the Supreme Goddess of Fortune Srimati Radharani, there must be pure unalloyed love . In the Vedas this is called pure Bhakti yoga .
This type of devotion is bestowed on one by being in the association of one who has it , the seed is planted within our own heart , and we can make it grow by our sincerity of purpose. The Vedas describes a watering process .
It’s the type of love that makes one feel inadequate or that one just does not possess.
But , you have heard of no risk no gain , in spiritual life , Srila BR Sridhar Swami says , its more like all risk no gain ..
Spiritual life means trying to relate with unlimited Divinity , how can the limited understand and love the unlimited . The pure person never thinks he can achieve this , but he or she is risking risking, risking, risking everything, one’s whole life dedicated , hope against hope , says Srila Rupa Goswami

  • Truth attracts more truth

    Nov 5th, 2025

Everything is connected to Divinity, and  Divinity is connected to everything ..

It’s a question of utilising and identifying honest intelligentsia . One who directly understands the simple principle of the equality of all living beings . Who know how to direct people  both in terms of their  social mobility with  education as well as a  progressive culture of  their inner spiritual consciousness . The vedas have  simply forms that the broad Vedas outline , what can be termed as peripherals ,  but also highly esoteric forms that Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has discussed with Ramananda Roy .  Many varied objective sciences are given  within the Vedas  including explanations to the many social structures, all of which are beneficial and can be linked to the best of wisdom. Free market economics as opposed to cheating greedy economics are essentially discussed . Philosophical positions, along with their specific explanations, are clearly elucidated within the  varied theological cultures . Ultimately,  the Param Gatim , the pefection in understanding who  the supreme personality of God is and how to enter into a loving relationship is the final goal set .
Leaders in every field must be of quality , a businessman man has business interests , that is good , but leadership of people’s best interests are beyond the understanding of the business men . The all-around all-encompassinging persons who have broad visions of religion , politics , and philosophical matters the Vedas say are those who speak with ” Sabdha”  , realised truth . The truthful and the honest attracts truth as well as the absolute truth , and they share their genuine insights for everyone’s benefit.

Prabhupāda: “Our culture, our Vedic culture, is on religion, on God consciousness, everything. The whole social structure, political structure, philosophical structure, scientific structure, everything is aiming on Viṣṇu. Tad viṣṇoḥ paramaṁ padaṁ sadā paśyanti sūraya. Viṣṇu, God. And in the Viṣṇu Purāṇa it is said,
    varṇāśramācāra-vatā
    puruṣeṇa paraḥ pumān
    viṣṇur ārādhyate [panthā]
    nānyat tat-toṣa-kāraṇam
    [Cc. Madhya 8.58]
So our cultural aim, Vedic cultural aim, is tad viṣṇoḥ paramaṁ padaṁ. How to satisfy Him. But they do not know about Viṣṇu. They have forgotten Viṣṇu. Na te viduḥ svārtha-gatiṁ hi viṣṇuṁ [SB 7.5.31].
Our self-interest is there in Viṣṇu. Na te viduḥ. These foolish men, they do not know. Durāśayā bahir-artha-māninaḥ. They are uselessly hoping that they will be able to adjust things by material advancement ”
