Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja and Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur externally were seen to “court” the British rulers of India , and in Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja’s case , he heavily criticised displays of external “Vedic cultures “, which many other persons and established religious leaders saw as glorious . So much so that sometimes violence was displayed towards Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami . Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur was seen as more conciliatory and viewed any religion with appreciation. In matters of love sometimes, even in this world, people risk everything . Although in this world, love is somewhat tainted with self-interests . AC Bhaktivedanta Swami would say the love of the mother for the child is more like pure unmotivated love .Generally, we see the illusion of love or lust to be an enjoyer , and if it’s convenient, it’s called love . Such is the state of the conditioned heart that is more often than not self calculating .If you give me what I want, I love you , when you can’t, I won’t, or if somebody else gives more , it’s goodbye…. This is the nature of materialism , scientific materialism and Darwinian hypothesis does not bring wisdom but self survival of the fittest calculations, one can say . Who is acting without any self-interest in this world? Different degrees of love mixed with lust and self interests are exhibited in this world. The love between the mother and the child is very pure , as previously said . Pure unmotivated love is found in the highest realms of spiritual sacrifice , where no self interests are found . In the purest of spiritual sense, Srila BR Sridhar Swami gives the example of the purest of pure love , and he cleverly termed it ” All risk no gain.” In the material world, we hear of no risk, no gain .But all risk no gain ? The residents of the spiritual Vrndavana abodes , who are described by the Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas , and who are eternally participating in Radha Krishna lila . They are in whom the topmost realms of spiritual love are found .Such love has no limits or preconditions, its ever expanding, and a fresh exhilarating love that is the real proof of true spiritual consciousness . It is experienced as ever new in every conceivable way , it never becomes stale or unfulfilling , but rather it’s increasingly filling an unlimited spiritual heart filled with supreme spiritual love and attractions of rasa , the emotions of the depths of the soul , with a spiritual trancendental form of beauty. Soul on soul relationships are facilities of the Svarupa Sakti of Krishna . Every participant centres themselves around the love of Srimati Radharani that She exibits toward Krishna , and vice verser. There are unlimited assistants to help increase arrangements of lila pastimes centred on the Divine couple , who demonstrate the highest of the highest principles of spiritual sacrifice . Radharani and Krishna risk everything for love , and so do their associates. When Krishna “left them” and left supposedly Vrndavana , their hometown , they thought everything of their invested love was lost. Still, they never gave up on their unalloyed love, and their feelings for Krishna, in fact, in separation, the feelings increased more and more so much so that union and separation become one . Even though Krishna had appeared externally to reject or disappoint them , their motivations were only ever to continue to be Krishna’s greatest well wishers and lovers .They meditated and remembered satisfying the emaculate senses of Krishna . In spiritual consciousness meditations become a part of eternal spiritual reality , thus Krishna revealed the eternal spiritual realms of Vraja .The residents of Vrndavana had risked everything and remained deeply hankering and continued risking everything of their reputations for Krishna, thinking of Him twenty-four hours daily . In their unwavering sacrifice, they were prepared in love to gain nothing , and Krishna may never return. In their extreme separation from the object of their love Krishna, their hearts were , and remained the supreme abode of pure love . It seemed externally that they had risked and risked everything of themselves, including all external expectations to society. They rejected all social norms . In their supreme separation, however, there was still hope against hope , that they would again be united with Krishna. This kept them alive and enthusiastic in spiritual love . Thus, in our spiritual life, Srila BR Sridhar Swami says , “we feel we are risking risking risking, but we do not feel we have gained our goal .” and we never feel we have done enough in our services to Divinity or that we have truly gotten Krishna. Such is the path of pure spiritual love .The humble hearts of the residents of Vrndavana whose inner state of mind are revealed by the Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas in their writings. On the rooftops of Mathura having left Vrndavana , Krishna Himself wept tears of love, and indeed , His separation was even more difficult to bear for Him than that of some of the gopies , but Radharani’s separation feelings astounded Krishna. Remembering the pure love of Srimati Radharani and Her friends Krishna thought He could never pay back such the sacrifice of their hearts . The spiritual truth of pure unmotivated love between God and His devotees is delineated in the 10th Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam and greatly elaborated upon by Srila Rupa and Ragganatha das Goswami’s. Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has come to reveal this mystery of spiritual love . All risk, no gain , and the trancendental mysteries of union in separation and separation in union .
Smriti and Sruti.
In the teachings of Gaudia Vaisnavas, the Smriti must follow the Sruti , otherwise, it is not Smriti. The supposed Smriti of the smarta Brahminical classes or the Smriti of the impersonal philosophers is not to be classed as Smriti .The Smriti per se are paths that lead genuinely to the spiritual world. They are directly windows to the spiritual worlds .The Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas follow Srila Rupa and Ragganatha das Goswami’s Smriti as well as Srila Jiva Goswami and Srila Sanantana Goswami plus all the Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas in param para from them .
Krishna means all attractive. Ultimately, all jivas are attracted to the all attractive Krishna , either directly , the best option , or indirectly , the long-winded approach.
Lord Balarama expands as Mula Sankarsana, Maha Sankarsana, and as Maha Visnu. In the Caitanya Caratamrita, it is disclosed that Adwaita Acarya is Maha Visnu. He calls down Krishna and implores Him to begin another rescue mission. The living beings originally manifested by Krishna’s first expansion Lord Balarama, both as Mula Sankarsana and as Maha Sankarsana have expanded and become the many Jivas living beings, they are eternally manifested parts , but simultaneously one and different. Srila Jiva Goswami says that Krishna can make the impossible possible. Within Krishna, there is unlimited potential .We could say we are eternal because Krishna is eternal. So , Advaita acarya prays to Krishna . ultimately, the jiva who, by their own free will, will decended into the material energies need help , the soul is never satisfied in an artificial and surreal existence. The soul is spiritual and needs spiritual freedom and spiritual attraction.
It’s the all attractive Supreme Personality of Godhead Krishna and Srimati Radharani, the supreme Goddess of fortune, who have these attractive spiritual attributes , thus Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has revealed all these truths and has mounted the rescue mission based on love and attraction as well as spiritual knowledge, the cit sakti bring the power of knowledge and the power of Bhakti , loving attraction.
Krishna says in His Bhagavad Gita, ” Again and again I decend into the material realms to reestablish religious principles .It’s these religious principles that encourage and foster love . The Vedas brings this essential wisdom , so Balarama, through Maha Visnu, in His form of Adwaita Acarya is calling the Lord to exhibit His all attractive pastimes filled with beauty, love and bliss .
The Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas have written extensively on these pastimes, they are windows to the spiritual planes.
Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur Jiva Dharma asks where does karma begin..
A brilliant and important philosophical question posed by Vrajanatha in Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur’s Jiva Dharma, the occupation of the soul .
We are manifest from Lord Balarama, the first expansion of Krishna, and because the soul is part of Him , and Krishna always been , so have we . Srila Jiva Goswami says in his Tattva Sandarbha that Krishna makes the impossible possible , inconceivably, and simultaneously oneness and differences. Within Krishna are unlimited expansions , and unlimited capacity , thus the simultaneous one and difference of the living beings and God can be looked at in this way . Jiva Goswami also says that Krishna makes the impossible possible by manifesting totally separate entities , each with free will .
We also have to understand the expression , “ time immemorial ,” it’s meaning , we can not fathom its beginnings .
When Balarama brings forth the ” dormant ” Jivas , it is because He wants to increase Krishna’s pleasure. We are not dead stones or downloads of Balarama , but we have free will, and we can choose and learn to love . To love and give pleasure is inherant within us , Krishna is the most attractive thus the attraction for Krishna is there within all beings , when it’s not realised the living beings become attracted to Krishna’s external potency . The more we use our free will for its intended purpose , the more freedom we can experience , spiritually and even materially . Selfish actions and mentality restrict our inherant potential . On our being “manifest ” ,although we are eternally part of Krishna , just as a good father tells us how to properly conduct life for our greatest benefits , similarly Balarama , our original father , does the same . Most living beings spontaneously feel deep attraction for the spiritual realm . Guidance and examples of pure love in numerous ways are found in other souls, and Balarama is the originator as well as Srimati Radharani . Balarama , by His example, brings freedom of expression , love , and spontaneous attraction to Krishna and the spiritual kingdoms. Spontaneously , the living beings reveal their individual consciousness by their own attractions . Love is always voluntary and can never be forced , but needs learning at times both within the spiritual marginal realms and material realms. The complete and full existence of Divinity is only ever understood by unadulterated pure love . Indeed , Sanatana Goswami has shown in his literatures in the pastime of Gopa Kumar , that when Gopa finally returned to a spiritual world , the Lord was waiting and embraced him saying “ Where have you been I have missed you and have been waiting ?” Such is the Love of the Supreme Father of all Krishna , who never forgets his wayward sons and daughters and remains with them as the supersoul , another expansion of Lord Balarama. Lord Balarama is the original Guru and Sri Guru is a manifested form of Lord Balarama.
It’s indicted , by Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur , the jiva enters a tatasta state , when manifested from Balarama , the Jiva choice come from there , spiritual or material or an undecided impersonal position. The impersonal Brahman energies have been referred to as the tatasta by Srila BR Sridhar Swami , its the origins of those Jivas who are not so originally inclined to share their consciousness in loving exchanges with Divinity . They remain in an impersonal bliss , but for want of activity and relationships , they eventually come to the material planes . Ultimately , the material energies refine their activity, and they learn to love and learn that Krishna or God is “Rasaraja” the king of the exchanges of love . It’s this relationship with God that the inner desires of every soul are hankering for . This leaving the impersonal spiritual light, and the entering of material activities begins by a ” kind of transporational ” glance from Maha Sankarsana. From Mula Sankarsana, the spiritual beings have directly entered the spiritual plane . The living being from Maha Sankarsana enter into Mahavisnu , inside His trancendental form are countless trillions of universes , like dust particles floating in the air .
Originally from Maha Sankarsana, the jiva , revealing their inner state of consciousness and desire , are connected either to Maha maya or Yoga maya , i.e., the spiritual or material energies . This is in accordance with their free spirit. They move naturally towards one or the other , and the tatasta Brahman regions are the place where free will is exhibited. It appears our consciousness , having this free spirit , connected itself to Maha maya , we are in the material universes. Balarama , being our father , and in that sense Balarama and Krishna are one , so , Balarama detected our desire for independence , and independence was not directed towards pure devotional desires and attractions for Krishna . Desire for relationships is something also inherant , so facilities that are outside of the spiritual kingdoms are the business of the material energies . Relationships are temporarily situated and somewhat unfulfilled within matter . It’s a sureal existence without Krishna . However, the living beings , who could not feel spontaneous attraction for the spiritual realms , and having remained in a brahman impersonal energy for some time , take to the alternative surreal material world. ” Spirits in the material world,” as Madonna once sang . Arrangements are made because Krishna and His first expansion Balarama are all-knowing . Automatically through the ethereal and spiritual planes and within the multidimensional unlimited space time arrangements , the living beings arrive in matter . Initially, with relatively exalted consciousness . Mahamaya or Durga Devi has the task of providing an illusion of artificial lordship and sensual pleasures , and thus tempting and inspiring the individual to enjoy a separate existence from God , and further and further entanglements begin .
Some people say God knows everything , but does He know when you will turn in Love towards Him , and how you will love Him and the intensity ?
In conditioned consciousness , one is firmly in His energy . As the high court judge knows the destination of the criminal , so a harmful soul is under Gods grips , with predicable consequences , but not a pure soul . He has his full freedom and is unpredictable in love . Love in real spiritual terms is every increasing , and unpredictable . Unlimited exchanges take place with the master of love Krishna , soul to soul in spiritual bodies , in full spiritual varigatedness. It is Balarama, the great servant , brother, and friend of Krishna that makes all arrangements for His pleasure . When living being is finished with his or her material wondering , they return either under the care of Srimati Radharani or Lord Balarama.
The moon is behind the clouds, but by the light of the moon, the clouds can be seen .
Pure consciousness is covered by the subtle and gross material body , but still , by the effects of a consciousness that incorporates ones intelligence, one’s mind , and one’s senses, if it has been contacted or is being enlightened with the divine potency , that of the spiritual cit sakti , then the workings of the pure mind , pure intelligence and purified senses come into play , and the original pure consciousness can be understood . Krishna can enable the living being to use so-called matter as spirit .. Take an iron bar and put it in far it acts like fire , touch it, and you will know .
The Srimad Bhagavatam says 1.5.11
On the other hand, that literature which is full of descriptions of the transcendental glories of the name, fame, forms, pastimes, etc., of the unlimited Supreme Lord is a different creation, full of transcendental words directed toward bringing about a revolution in the impious lives of this world’s misdirected civilization. Such transcendental literatures, even though imperfectly composed, are heard, sung and accepted by purified men who are thoroughly honest.

Thus, the question…. Can God be understood through material words ,or sounds, or music.
The answer is yes , He is present when messaging is directed to Him in attempts to understand Him . He can enter into our consciousness to help us understand Him further and further. With pure intelligence, He is understood. In the Bhagavad Gita Krishna says “
To those who are constantly devoted and worship with love, God gives the inner intelligence by which they come to Him. This line comes from the Bhagavad Gita As It Is, 10.10. .
Thus, trancendental sounds are pure , as are any name of God .Equally , hymns, songs , or prayers that are genuinely glorifying God bring purification to the listening ear and ultimately a fully purified heart .
God or Krishna is the most expert communicator, any one coming in touch with His communication either knowingly or unknowingly reaps the trancendental rewards. Sound is the original source of matter , “Let there be light ” or sound immediately takes one out of matter .
The Vedas indicates that Lord Krishna, via his expansions and multiples of unlimited energies, is responsible for the whole of existence . There are the superior, marginal, and inferia energies that elaborately discussed and explained throughout the Vedas . Krishna in His conversations with Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita highlights these truths in simple clever terms .

In Bhagavad Gita 7.7, Lord Krishna declares to Arjuna that there is no truth superior to Him, and the entire universe is sustained by Him like pearls strung on a thread. [1]Sanskrit Verseमत्तः परतरं नान्यत्किञ्चिदस्ति धनञ्जय। मयि सर्वमिदं प्रोतं सूत्रे मणिगणा इव॥ Transliteration:Mattaḥ parataraṁ nānyat kiñcid asti dhanañjaya, mayi sarvam idaṁ protaṁ sūtre maṇi-gaṇā iva. The behaviour of electrons, described by quantum physics, determines how atoms bond to form molecules. Life is chemical at its core. Cellular processes, DNA replication, and metabolism depend on chemical reactions and molecular structures. Electromagnetic forces and radiation link the very large (astrophysics) to the very small (atomic structure). Light itself is electromagnetic radiation.There are also universal Constants like the speed of light (\(c\)), Planck’s constant (\(h\)), and the gravitational constant (\(G\)) set the precise rules for how energy, matter, and time interact across every scientific discipline.
Even going out further , into space , the same applies in one way but not in another because the elements and the atomic structures and how time reacts to them differ the Vedas indicates. Thus, the scientific materialism hypothesis and Darwinian hypothesis do not stand either here on this planet or within space, where multidimensional universes are exhibited. Thus, Sir Fred Hoyle rightly observed that someone has monkeyed with the universe. You bet they have … Everything is happening by the supreme desire of Krishna. This consciousness is Krishna consciousness.
One important point is the ethereal and subtle energies from where the gross elements originate , and the consciousness itself has not really been examined by modern scientific thinkers. It’s the most important but the most neglected element of existence. Life originates from life , it always did , consciousness is cause of all causes , and continues to be so ,as from one life comes another , no primordial soup. Consciousness sets everything in motion within matter , and consciousness will withdraw everything back . Back into Maha Visnu .
The finite can never put the infinite into their fist , as Srila BR Sridhar once remarked , the decending process reveals something of His unlimited wonders .
A real free market is most definitely the Vedic way
European , UK and world leaders have failed to house their own citizens , amongst other failures. They have , being influenced by those peddling greed , deliberately engineered and fixed housing markets , in collusion with and controlled by banks ,and global financial institutions .This is assisted with the help of political friends . Bankers become politicians, and politicians become bankers, so it is said wryly. High House prices mean more profits for banks and financial companies and less money to circulate in other parts of the economy. The government’s are controlled by business conglomorates and financial institutions, who have no interest in housing people at affordable rates , quite the opposite, they engineer shortages of housing , by failures to build social housing and by restricted supply. Weak governments allow them to . The conglomorates lobby governments and donate to political parties. The Vedic systems are socialist based, the middle way , with allowance for a legitimate free trade . Free trade is a word banded about in Western countries , but in reality, we have cooperative monopolies and a currupted world housing market as well as many other types of businesses . There are billions of children living in temporary accommodation and billions of homeless persons . Housing for families if they can be had are blocks of flats with no garden . What good is that for children? Thus , democracies world wide are failing ,they are infiltrated by ruthless businessman who sponsor and donate to political parties, who advertise their false promises to the uneducated, who vote it unworthy persons, slaves to conglomorates . Educated democracies are needed , where the uncaring politicians are discarded, and the intelligentsia guide political persons who care , and bankers are left out the picture.
The Vedic Way is localised economies , national economies, and trading of essential goods as well as other items. There are no international conglomorates buying up the world . “Just like Caitanya Mahāprabhu taught us that,”You become tolerant than the tree and humble than the grass.” But when Jagāi-Mādhāi insulted Lord Nityānanda, oh, He immediately became so angry, “Oh, bring my cakra. I shall kill these persons.” Did He become a tolerant like the tree?” “All right, Nityānanda is insulted. Let Me become tolerant”? [laughs] No, no.
Try to understand. You see? We should not be impotent. Arjuna, he was declining to fight, not that he was impotent, he could not fight. He was a great warrior. But he was refusing, ” To fight for good is good
“So to become a devotee is not to become impotent, but everything has proper use. Just like if you are lusty, that lust should be utilized for Kṛṣṇa. I am lusty to accumulate money. Yes, you bring money, but utilize it for Kṛṣṇa. We don’t say that you should not be lusty. If you have the capacity to earn money, earn money, as much as you can, but utilize it for Kṛṣṇa. If I am very angry, yes, you remain angry, but utilize it for Kṛṣṇa.
I am very greedy. Yes, you become greedy for Kṛṣṇa. How to become greedy? “Oh, I must have good association. Where Kṛṣṇa’s consciousness is being preached, I must be very greedy.” So that greediness is not there, but I am very greedy: Where is wine? Where is woman? Where is club? Where is naked dance? I am greedy. You see? I am not greedy for Kṛṣṇa consciousness. So that greediness should be turned like that.
So these are the things to be learned by the devotee. We should not be impotent. We should not be null and void.”
Gaudia Vaisnavism is the complete picture that is clear , Mahāprabhu conversations with Ramananda Roy include the cor and the extended arm of the beginnings of Varna Ashram .However , Nityananda prabhu has further extended this and reached out to one and all under the order of Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu …Srila Gour Govinda Swami would relate that Mahāprabhu has come to pay back the love oc Srimati Radharani and the Gopies , so perhaps we can say that Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has glorified Srimati Radharani and Her divine love , and in doing so is distributing Her outstanding trancendental grace and merciful nature .Thus, Srila Prabhupada stepped off the boat at Boston Harbour…Vaisnavas differ but they are capable in their own ways . Srila BR Sridhar Swami would not go out to preach necessarily, although he carried out extensive preaching in India carrying out Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja mission in the Gaudia math . In BR Sridhar Swami later life, if people came to him, he was more than capable of delivering persons and preaching what they needed to hear . Srila Prabhupada forced Srila BR Sridhar Swami to extensively preach, and he preached with much intensity , more so in his later years than previous years some will argue , and that was Srila Prabhupada’s blessings on him others will say ….Even Srila Gour Kisore das would preach occasionally, but avoided most people…as Bhajananandis do .
Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami was an extraordinary acarya and no doubt empowered by Lord Krishna and Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu due to his complete surrender and Bhakti that poured from him . It remains a trancendental mystery as to who Srila Prabhupada really was , one thing is for sure, he was not of this world, ever .
When it comes to bone fide, Gaudia Vaisnavism Sri Guru is one . It’s not a question of your guru , or my Guru , so spiritually , we are always safe . Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami made that clear in his first offering after the disappearance of Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja. Sri Guru is present in many forms , Srila BR Sridhar Swami would say and if you want Krishna , Krishna will send Guru , Srila Gour Govinda Swami would say ..The intensity of service and inquiry will vary , thus Diksa and Siksa Guru are generally required , as well as the all important Sastra sanga by our predominant acaryas , which are always required . By humble submission and service and training by current acaryas and mature Sadhus , all the param para opens , however, a proud attitude of jumping over current sadhus is not recommended .
