Essential teachings . Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur explains in his commentary of Ragganatha das Goswami’s Mana Siksa that we should regard the Six Goswami’s as our personal Siksa Gurus, but Srila BR Sridhar Swami explains how by the Goswami’s blessings and our acaryas blessings it may be possible..not by our trying to enter intellectually or without the good thoughts and blessings of the saints . Can we pick up a spiritual book or hear lectures without the blessings of current saints and without trnad api ? Only by developing humility and saintly characters will Krishna and the Sadhus be pleased . By their blessings, Krishna may accept us and allow us to enter into the mysteries of trancendance. The process of Karma and jnana are somewhat useful, of course, but Bhakti must be added by the blessings of the saints, even knowingly or unknowingly. The merciful glance of the saints is full of trancendental potency and good fortune of the highest order.
[The symptoms of a sādhu are that he is tolerant, merciful and friendly to all living entities. He has no enemies, he is peaceful, he abides by the scriptures, and all his characteristics are sublime.]
Sādhu, one who is called sādhu… Sādhu means titikṣavaḥ. Titikṣavaḥ means very tolerant, very tolerant, and very tolerant. Titikṣavaḥ kāruṇikāḥ. At the same time, very kind-hearted. We find these two characters in the life of Lord Jesus. He was very much tolerant, at the same time kind to the people in general. You see? So, titikṣavaḥ kāruṇikāḥ suhṛdaḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ. And he is a friend. A sādhu is a friend of all living entities. He is not only a friend of humankind; he is a friend of the animals, he is a friend of the trees, he is a friend of the ants, worms, reptiles, serpents—everyone.” end ..
By getting the blessings of Sadhus , Krishna accepts our efforts in devotional life … but we must follow their lives and be dependent on them in intelligent ways , Krishna can help us help ourselves.
Many have misunderstandings of Albert Einstein and his thoughts on God . Einstein actually believed in and witnessed an order in the universe . Within the Vedas, there are three aspects of how to contemplate and progressively develop realisations of Divinity and His all expanding existence, which is both personal and can be considered impersonal . The scientific community is very much aware of the perfect math symmetry and the obvious high levels of what can be objectively seen as precision, in all things , including the laws of physics. It’s these aspects that Einstein intelligently thought of a ” God,” like Sir Fred Hoyle said “That someone has monkeyed with the universe “ Einstein intelligently concluded in similar ways , what Sir Fred had stated to be true and also self evident. The vedas say God has no form, and the purpose of that statement means he has no material form. i.e., He has no legs, no hands etc etc .This refers to God not having a material body like ours that is subjected to laws of nature as a result of Karma that is made of atoms , elements, and compounds. Gods spiritual form can only be understood by proper learning and sacrifice, and ultimately, He is known by those who confidentially approach him in love , respect , and who want to please Him and develop a relationship . If not , He remains unknown to all sense and purposes. Do you open yourself to an unfriendly stranger ? Krishna, via his “impersonal but personal, ” energies, has created the laws of nature and has expanded His universal form , the Virat Svarupa , to facilitate a responsive universe to fulfil the desires of independent beings . Within this form, free will and determinism are administered and facilitated , karmic synchronicities are played out . Divinity and His “sat cit ananda “, means , eternal , blissful form , full of all knowledge . Spiritual form is a trancendental existence, there are no machine like material bodies but bodies of another substance . Spiritual existence plays out eternally in the higher, super subjective, subtle spiritual realms that are full of varigatedness . His forms are simultaneously everywhere, but nowhere , He is inside and simultaneously outside, He is near but far . Einstein’s God is this brahman impersonal aspect , manifested from the supreme Brahman who has form , personality, and trancendental pastimes. The highly ordered universal laws are a mere spark of His splendour , like a photon is of the sun . In this way, Einstein’s understanding of God progressed . Einstein had not furthered his knowledge of localised forms of God as the Holy ghost , or paramatma . He had not applied himself or associated with scholars of the Vedas , if he had, they could have clearly explained scientifically the teachings of dualism and consciousness within space time entrapped in matter . The Vedas call the ultimate realisations of God” Bhagavan realisations.” This means realisations of His form and expansions comprised of eternity knowledge and bliss , Krishna is the original Supreme Personality of Godhead, and He is alwsys accompanied by Srimati Radharani , The supreme Goddess of Fortune. From these two millions of spiritual expansions occur .Within the Vaikuthas He is situated in formal settings, but He is the most complete in His beauty within Goloka Vrndavana . It’s here where pure loving informal exchanges take place intimately with lovers , friends, and family . Formality is conspicuous by its absence. Numerous pure intimate devotees in five primary relationships have deep relationships with Divinity or Krishna.
The Srimad Bhagavatam, which is the natural commentary of the Vedanta Sutras, explains all .And Srila AC Bhavtivedanta Swami Prabhupada has brought its full glory to the Western audiences and has explained all .
When Prof Albert Einstein says “religion without science is blind and science without religion is lame,” he knows what he is talking about , consciousness and the ordered as well as fine tuned universal affairs does not spring from random explosions in intergalactic space or a primordial sludge.
There are many examples we could give as the reasons why the current world situation on all fronts is in such a state. The Vedas has it down to one main reason , that the unintelligent and unthinking , so called , “vaisya class ,” have broken off their lead , and are as a consequence urinating and passing stool indiscriminately all over the world. The businessman must be controlled, for him profit at any cost , means just that , the businessman have bought out the administrative classes , the politicians, and have silenced the intelligentsia using media ,and social media , the majority of the population are bewildered, and fools vote in fools , climate change ….no says tooting hooting Trump , we need money money money its brighter that sunshine and sweeter than honey ….we don’t care whoever or whatever gets in our way , we will crush , and ruin , including people , creatures and the climate.
AC Bhaktivedanta Swami..
Factually, at the present moment the population are the vaiśyas and the śūdras. And there is fight, that your American nation, they are vaiśyas, Actually, there is no brāhmaṇa or kṣatriyas. They are extinct currently
And because the brāhmaṇas and kṣatriyas are extinct, therefore social orders are in chaos. There is no brain; there is no good administration. That’s all. Without kṣatriya, there cannot be any good administration, and without brāhmaṇa, there is no good brain. Therefore we pray to Kṛṣṇa, namo brahmaṇya-devāya go-brāhmaṇa-hitāya ca, kṛṣṇāya govindāya…
namo brahmaṇya-devāya go-brāhmaṇa-hitāya ca jagad-dhitāya kṛṣṇāya govindāya namo namaḥ
[Viṣṇu Purāṇa 1.19.65]
[Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto Lord Kṛṣṇa, who is the worshipable Deity for all brahminical men, who is the well-wisher of cows and brāhmaṇas, and who is always benefiting the whole world. I offer my repeated obeisances to the Personality of Godhead, known as Kṛṣṇa and Govinda.]
In Bilvamangala Thakur litratures he describes how the living beings are awarded a spiritual body from the Svarupa Sakti of Krishna , an extension of his increasing spiritual bliss and Rasa , as an associate of Lord Balarama or of Srimati Radharani , in Gaudiya Vaisnavism . Other Relationships are also awarded according to ones inclinations. VRNDAVANA is the full life of family , friends, servants, and lovers .These observations highlights a beautiful and profound core theological concept found in the broader Gaudiya tradition, which builds extensively upon the literature and ecstatic mood of the Thakura. While Bilvamangala Thakura’s masterpiece, the Krishna-karnamrita, primarily captures the subjective, ecstatic visions of Krishna’s youthful beauty, sweet pastimes (madhurya-lila), and the primary position of Srimati Radharani. Later, commentators and acharyas , headed by Rupa and Ragganatha Goswamis’ systematized these descriptions to explain how a living entity (jiva) attains a spiritual form (svarupa). Here is a breakdown of how this theological principle operates based on the texts and commentaries inspired by his work:. The Role of Svarupa-Sakti (Internal Potency) In Vaishnava theology, a living being can achieve a spiritual body (sidha-deha or svarupa) through Sadhana Bhakti in the form of karma yoga , inclusive of jnana , niskama karma yoga and elements of astanga yoga, everything increasingly achieved by the practice of Bhakti. The spiritual form is awarded exclusively by the Svarupa-Sakti —Krishna’s internal, existential, and pleasure-giving potency. The Svarupa-Sakti infuses the soul with its hladini (bliss-giving) and samvit (knowledge-bestowing) attributes. This transformation completely purges material designations, replacing them with a purely spiritual body made of eternity, knowledge, and absolute bliss (sat-cit-ananda). An Extension of Spiritual Bliss and Rasa .The spiritual body is not a static form; it is a dynamic embodiment of a soul’s specific Rasa (relationship or mellow) with the Divine. In his writings, Bilvamangala Thakura describes how the soul becomes entirely intoxicated by the sweet, nectar-filled pastimes of Krishna. As a devotee’s love matures into bhava and prema (pure love), their spiritual body manifests as an absolute necessity to participate in those pastimes, acting as a direct vehicle for expanding Krishna’s own transcendental pleasure.. Service as an Associate of Balarama or Radharani ,Depending on a soul’s natural spiritual disposition, their svarupa aligns under the shade of Krishna’s primary eternal associates , this gradual process of changing bodies from material to spiritual is described by Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur in his tenth canto commentary. Srimati Radharani or Balarama. Bilvamangala Thakura was uniquely praised by later saints like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu for uncovering the supreme, confidential mood of serving under Srimati Radharani and her sakhis (gopis) and more intimately the Manjaris tad bhava catmika rasa .In this realm, the spiritual body is given to serve as an assistant to Radharani’s conjugal love for Krishna. In Sakhya-rasa , those whose internal inclination is toward fraternity, the spiritual body manifests as a cowherd boyfriend (gopa) under the leadership of Lord Balarama sharing in the protective, joyful, and playful pastimes of Vraja. Ultimately, the literature of Bilvamangala Thakura serves as the experiential proof that when a soul is completely broken of material attachment, the internal potency steps in to clothe the soul in its eternal, blissful spiritual identity. Likewise the litratures of the Goswami’s of Vrndavana who Sri Caitanya personally instructed.
The Vedic Spectator blog teaches about the Vedic idea of the descending process of wisdom and knowledge and writes about the special dispensation of Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu and the loving glance of Srimati Radharani and Sri Guru
The Vedic Spectator blog explores traditional Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy, focusing on the descending process of knowledge (avaroha-pantha). According to this Vedic concept, absolute truth can not be reached through human logic or ascending speculation. Instead, it must descend from a higher spiritual reality through a chain of authorized teachers (parampara). However, the process of jnana and philosophically led speculations do have some benefits. The blog highlights three central figures in this descending flow of wisdom: Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu: Recognized as the special dispensation for the modern age , He distributed the highest spiritual love (prema) freely through the congregational chanting of the holy names and study of the Srimad Bhagavatam . Srimati Radharani: Representing the embodiment of topmost devotion , Her compassionate glance is considered the ultimate source of spiritual nourishment and grace .Sri Guru: Serving as the transparent medium through whom this divine, descending grace and knowledge are transmitted directly to the sincere seeker . Srila Jiva Goswami in his Bhagavat Sandarbha speaks about glances . The glance of Mahavisnu and the glance of the conditioned living beings are two different things . However, conditioned glances can change to less conditioned glances by cultivation and practice of spiritual knowledge in the correct manner. How does one view the material world and the people within it ? in ignorance or with knowledge ? that is the all-important question posed in Vedic cultures . A person of culture sees and acts one way, and an uncultured uncouth fellow sees in another way . He may have a pocket full of PHDs but be a complete idiot says Richard Feynman. Systematic acquisition of knowledge by the process of association and directions of the intelligentsia is much needed by everyone. The purest of cultures actually arrive to humanity by a decending process , and by grace and are never absent pe say . These truths are delineated within the Vedas and have been further elaborated upon in recent times by the Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas . Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has decended to explain how in this age the highest of cultures are available to the most uncultured persons and immediately . Western scientific materialism and Darwinian hypothesis are based on guessing , speculations and an ascending attempt at knowledge , that “By MY efforts and MY intelligence I will become the great knower and I will give MY benedictions to MY fellow humans . To a degree ,the Vedas say , the process of “jnana” or speculative knowledge can assist in knowledge acquisition , but it’s a limited approach. Ludwig van Beethoven knew something wonderful was flowing through him and that it was not just random neurons firing in his brain . Ones glancing and observations of the world changes from one of exploitation to a humbled service attitude in recognition of the source of inspiration and of widom of all kinds . Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita ” I will give you the intelligence to come to Me and understand all things as they are ” There is no question left answered , God wants to communicate and different educational systems are in place accordingly . Within the teachings of Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu, the very highest exhibitions of glances of love saturated with Bhakti and devotional sentiments is commented upon , this is defined as an ever increasing and ever new love , and in that sense, an incalculable spiritual love and devotion are attempting to be described . The Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas , stemming from Srila Rupa and Ragganatha Goswami’s, in their elaborations of the tenth Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam , have opened the windows to the spiritual planes. Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu personally came to experience the power of such a glance of the Supreme Goddess of fortune Srimati Radharani and taught about Her glorious position as the fountain head of pure Bhakti . Sri Sri Radha Krishna loving mysteries have been somewhat revealed . The inquisitive person who is eager and greedy to know about the very highest spiritual attractions can qualify themselves , and this beauty of a glance of love that shakes the very foundations of spiritual emotions may decend by the mercy of Bhakti devi , Sri Guru is her agent.
The members of any Gaudia Vaisnava societies would be sadly mistaken if they thought that the fullness and the conclusions of the conversation between Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Ramananda Roy did not apply to their respective societies , or them personally. Putting on foot firmly on the floor before lifting one’s leg to take another step is essential , of course, less we fall on the ground. All the litratures of the Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas are meant for the prospective members of Gaudia Vaisnava groups of devotees , without them, the full journey Ramananda Roy and Mahāprabhu had spoken about could not be completed. This is common sense Vaisnavism . The study of the Bhagavad Gita, and the Srimad Bhagavatam and chanting Gods names with a great longing are the means and the end .
One of the features of quantum physics is called ” instant communication.” The Vedas have many parallels to these mathematically approved approaches to the reality of both matter , in the classical sense , as well as an atomic realm . The laws that both the classical and atomic realms are subjected to locally do not necessarily hold as true in all parts of the Vedic multidimensional universe. Karmic synchronicities and the various facilities offered by the universe differ and are by necessity differently acted out . Time also plays out in multiple ways on earth, of course , as well as matter . A Mayfly lives 24 hours , but it’s a full life and experienced as such , thus, time relativity has been discussed by Einstein. The head of this universe, the Vedas tells , he is addressed as Lord Bramha, has 4.5 billion of our years as his twelve hours. The middle upper and lower planetary systems exhibit matter and time with huge ranges of differences. The Darwinian suppose that time and matter functions simultaneously in the same way for all the time and space , scientific materialism impositions . Many theoretical physicists will not disagree with this Vedic explanation as being true . Methods of transfers from one dimention to another are also discussed by string theorists. The material planes , the ethereal planes, and the subtle existences , as well as much finer spiritual energies, are considered as one whole plane of existence in the sense that they all originate from the one Supreme Brahman , the Vedas say . This indicates that the Supreme Brahman knows everything of the totality of all states of the classical physics world , and the atomic realms , as well as all states of existence in every inch or even microbial or atomic structures of the multidimensional material and spiritual dimensions. Albert Einstein thought, “This is Spooky action at a distance. “…….Not a blade of grass within any part of the universe moves without the knowledge of God . The mind is no doubt the fastest method of transport , one can immediately think oneself somewhere . The material mind is working at one speed , and a pure in touch spiritual mind is able to traverse even greater distances and hold locations. AC Bhaktivedanta Swami has written “easy journey to other planets .” , this book is on line . The third Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam delves into some of these universal transport and multidimensional matters in some detail. Suffice to say , in regards to instant travel , the yogic paths are methods , when perfected , of an easy transportation method . Thus, an easy journey to other places or planets is possible. ..Mystic power literally means controlled travel in your dream like a subtle body , and in a pure gifted spiritual form, one can enter right now the eternal pastimes of Divinity.
In the future, a yogic travel agent may become available, and all the universal affairs and beyond could be accessed for the correct yogic price . http://www.thevedicspectator.com
Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja and Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur externally were seen to “court” the British rulers of India , and in Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja’s case , he heavily criticised displays of external “Vedic cultures “, which many other persons and established religious leaders saw as glorious . So much so that sometimes violence was displayed towards Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami . Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur was seen as more conciliatory and viewed any religion with appreciation. However in Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur’s litratures every thing is put into perspective.
The many purposes and missions of the Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas differ, and each has particular purposes by the arrangements of Krishna. Krishna Himself was seen to run away from an enemy .At times, he let enemies flee so they could re group. In the Vrndavana lila everything is turned upside down when it comes to establishment of family traditions, although family traditions are also on full display.
Jarasandha’s Attacks: Jarasandha attacked Mathura 17 times to avenge the death of his son-in-law, Kamsa. Krishna could have killed him in the first battle but He let Jarasanda regroup time and time again , for His own reasons
Strategic Withdrawal: To prevent endless destruction and protect the Yadava people from continuous warfare, Krishna chose not to fight him on the 18th attack, instead leading his people to build the safe, fortified city of Dwarka.
Kalayavana’s Defeat: Krishna also drew the relentless pursuer Kalayavana into a dark cave, where a sleeping king named Muchukunda accidentally woke up and burned Kalayavana to ashes with a single glance.
Meaning of Rancor “Ran” means battlefield, and “Chhod” means to leave. While opponents mockingly called Krishna a coward, devotees view the name as a title honoring his wisdom in putting the safety of his people above personal pride.
The position of ladies within Vedic and religious cultures is misunderstood .Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur gives a hint .Ladies are extremely powerful and keep their powers hidden, that’s what makes them powerful. Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur sites the example of a beautiful covered women, her real beauty is covered , similarly her wisdom and leadership qualities are not on immediate show , but are there and extremely valuable. In Western cultures women are encouraged to undo their covering display themselves fully and as much as possible and be as verbally strong as egotistical men , in doing these things , their real potential is lost .
The movements of spirituality are sometimes difficult to work out , but many unknown purposes are played out and they are not always understood initially but at a later date .
Once Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja said we worship Krishna because Radharani wants us to .While others worship Radharani because She is Krishna’s favourite .
When Srila BR Sridhar first heard of this understanding as a young devotee , he was puzzled , but later what His Guru Maharaja said became clear to him .
In matters of love sometimes, even in this world, people risk everything . Although in this world, love is somewhat tainted with self-interests . AC Bhaktivedanta Swami would say the love of the mother for the child is more like pure unmotivated love .Generally, we see the illusion of love or lust to be an enjoyer , and if it’s convenient, it’s called love . Such is the state of the conditioned heart that is more often than not self calculating .If you give me what I want, I love you , when you can’t, I won’t, or if somebody else gives more , it’s goodbye…. This is the nature of materialism , scientific materialism and Darwinian hypothesis does not bring wisdom but self survival of the fittest calculations, one can say . Who is acting without any self-interest in this world? Different degrees of love mixed with lust and self interests are exhibited in this world. The love between the mother and the child is very pure , as previously said . Pure unmotivated love is found in the highest realms of spiritual sacrifice , where no self interests are found . In the purest of spiritual sense, Srila BR Sridhar Swami gives the example of the purest of pure love , and he cleverly termed it ” All risk no gain.” In the material world, we hear of no risk, no gain .But all risk no gain ? The residents of the spiritual Vrndavana abodes , who are described by the Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas , and who are eternally participating in Radha Krishna lila . They are in whom the topmost realms of spiritual love are found .Such love has no limits or preconditions, its ever expanding, and a fresh exhilarating love that is the real proof of true spiritual consciousness . It is experienced as ever new in every conceivable way , it never becomes stale or unfulfilling , but rather it’s increasingly filling an unlimited spiritual heart filled with supreme spiritual love and attractions of rasa , the emotions of the depths of the soul , with a spiritual trancendental form of beauty. Soul on soul relationships are facilities of the Svarupa Sakti of Krishna . Every participant centres themselves around the love of Srimati Radharani that She exibits toward Krishna , and vice verser. There are unlimited assistants to help increase arrangements of lila pastimes centred on the Divine couple , who demonstrate the highest of the highest principles of spiritual sacrifice . Radharani and Krishna risk everything for love , and so do their associates. When Krishna “left them” and left supposedly Vrndavana , their hometown , they thought everything of their invested love was lost. Still, they never gave up on their unalloyed love, and their feelings for Krishna, in fact, in separation, the feelings increased more and more so much so that union and separation become one . Even though Krishna had appeared externally to reject or disappoint them , their motivations were only ever to continue to be Krishna’s greatest well wishers and lovers .They meditated and remembered satisfying the emaculate senses of Krishna . In spiritual consciousness meditations become a part of eternal spiritual reality , thus Krishna revealed the eternal spiritual realms of Vraja .The residents of Vrndavana had risked everything and remained deeply hankering and continued risking everything of their reputations for Krishna, thinking of Him twenty-four hours daily . In their unwavering sacrifice, they were prepared in love to gain nothing , and Krishna may never return. In their extreme separation from the object of their love Krishna, their hearts were , and remained the supreme abode of pure love . It seemed externally that they had risked and risked everything of themselves, including all external expectations to society. They rejected all social norms . In their supreme separation, however, there was still hope against hope , that they would again be united with Krishna. This kept them alive and enthusiastic in spiritual love . Thus, in our spiritual life, Srila BR Sridhar Swami says , “we feel we are risking risking risking, but we do not feel we have gained our goal .” and we never feel we have done enough in our services to Divinity or that we have truly gotten Krishna. Such is the path of pure spiritual love .The humble hearts of the residents of Vrndavana whose inner state of mind are revealed by the Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas in their writings. On the rooftops of Mathura having left Vrndavana , Krishna Himself wept tears of love, and indeed , His separation was even more difficult to bear for Him than that of some of the gopies , but Radharani’s separation feelings astounded Krishna. Remembering the pure love of Srimati Radharani and Her friends Krishna thought He could never pay back such the sacrifice of their hearts . The spiritual truth of pure unmotivated love between God and His devotees is delineated in the 10th Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam and greatly elaborated upon by Srila Rupa and Ragganatha das Goswami’s. Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has come to reveal this mystery of spiritual love . All risk, no gain , and the trancendental mysteries of union in separation and separation in union .
Smriti and Sruti.
In the teachings of Gaudia Vaisnavas, the Smriti must follow the Sruti , otherwise, it is not Smriti. The supposed Smriti of the smarta Brahminical classes or the Smriti of the impersonal philosophers is not to be classed as Smriti .The Smriti per se are paths that lead genuinely to the spiritual world. They are directly windows to the spiritual worlds .The Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas follow Srila Rupa and Ragganatha das Goswami’s Smriti as well as Srila Jiva Goswami and Srila Sanantana Goswami plus all the Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas in param para from them .
Krishna means all attractive. Ultimately, all jivas are attracted to the all attractive Krishna , either directly , the best option , or indirectly , the long-winded approach.
Lord Balarama expands as Mula Sankarsana, Maha Sankarsana, and as Maha Visnu. In the Caitanya Caratamrita, it is disclosed that Adwaita Acarya is Maha Visnu. He calls down Krishna and implores Him to begin another rescue mission. The living beings originally manifested by Krishna’s first expansion Lord Balarama, both as Mula Sankarsana and as Maha Sankarsana have expanded and become the many Jivas living beings, they are eternally manifested parts , but simultaneously one and different. Srila Jiva Goswami says that Krishna can make the impossible possible. Within Krishna, there is unlimited potential .We could say we are eternal because Krishna is eternal. So , Advaita acarya prays to Krishna . ultimately, the jiva who, by their own free will, will decended into the material energies need help , the soul is never satisfied in an artificial and surreal existence. The soul is spiritual and needs spiritual freedom and spiritual attraction.
It’s the all attractive Supreme Personality of Godhead Krishna and Srimati Radharani, the supreme Goddess of fortune, who have these attractive spiritual attributes , thus Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has revealed all these truths and has mounted the rescue mission based on love and attraction as well as spiritual knowledge, the cit sakti bring the power of knowledge and the power of Bhakti , loving attraction.
Krishna says in His Bhagavad Gita, ” Again and again I decend into the material realms to reestablish religious principles .It’s these religious principles that encourage and foster love . The Vedas brings this essential wisdom , so Balarama, through Maha Visnu, in His form of Adwaita Acarya is calling the Lord to exhibit His all attractive pastimes filled with beauty, love and bliss .
The Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas have written extensively on these pastimes, they are windows to the spiritual planes.
Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur Jiva Dharma asks where does karma begin..
A brilliant and important philosophical question posed by Vrajanatha in Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur’s Jiva Dharma, the occupation of the soul .
We are manifest from Lord Balarama, the first expansion of Krishna, and because the soul is part of Him , and Krishna always been , so have we . Srila Jiva Goswami says in his Tattva Sandarbha that Krishna makes the impossible possible , inconceivably, and simultaneously oneness and differences. Within Krishna are unlimited expansions , and unlimited capacity , thus the simultaneous one and difference of the living beings and God can be looked at in this way . Jiva Goswami also says that Krishna makes the impossible possible by manifesting totally separate entities , each with free will .
We also have to understand the expression , “ time immemorial ,” it’s meaning , we can not fathom its beginnings .
When Balarama brings forth the ” dormant ” Jivas , it is because He wants to increase Krishna’s pleasure. We are not dead stones or downloads of Balarama , but we have free will, and we can choose and learn to love . To love and give pleasure is inherant within us , Krishna is the most attractive thus the attraction for Krishna is there within all beings , when it’s not realised the living beings become attracted to Krishna’s external potency . The more we use our free will for its intended purpose , the more freedom we can experience , spiritually and even materially . Selfish actions and mentality restrict our inherant potential . On our being “manifest ” ,although we are eternally part of Krishna , just as a good father tells us how to properly conduct life for our greatest benefits , similarly Balarama , our original father , does the same . Most living beings spontaneously feel deep attraction for the spiritual realm . Guidance and examples of pure love in numerous ways are found in other souls, and Balarama is the originator as well as Srimati Radharani . Balarama , by His example, brings freedom of expression , love , and spontaneous attraction to Krishna and the spiritual kingdoms. Spontaneously , the living beings reveal their individual consciousness by their own attractions . Love is always voluntary and can never be forced , but needs learning at times both within the spiritual marginal realms and material realms. The complete and full existence of Divinity is only ever understood by unadulterated pure love . Indeed , Sanatana Goswami has shown in his literatures in the pastime of Gopa Kumar , that when Gopa finally returned to a spiritual world , the Lord was waiting and embraced him saying “ Where have you been I have missed you and have been waiting ?” Such is the Love of the Supreme Father of all Krishna , who never forgets his wayward sons and daughters and remains with them as the supersoul , another expansion of Lord Balarama. Lord Balarama is the original Guru and Sri Guru is a manifested form of Lord Balarama.
It’s indicted , by Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur , the jiva enters a tatasta state , when manifested from Balarama , the Jiva choice come from there , spiritual or material or an undecided impersonal position. The impersonal Brahman energies have been referred to as the tatasta by Srila BR Sridhar Swami , its the origins of those Jivas who are not so originally inclined to share their consciousness in loving exchanges with Divinity . They remain in an impersonal bliss , but for want of activity and relationships , they eventually come to the material planes . Ultimately , the material energies refine their activity, and they learn to love and learn that Krishna or God is “Rasaraja” the king of the exchanges of love . It’s this relationship with God that the inner desires of every soul are hankering for . This leaving the impersonal spiritual light, and the entering of material activities begins by a ” kind of transporational ” glance from Maha Sankarsana. From Mula Sankarsana, the spiritual beings have directly entered the spiritual plane . The living being from Maha Sankarsana enter into Mahavisnu , inside His trancendental form are countless trillions of universes , like dust particles floating in the air .
Originally from Maha Sankarsana, the jiva , revealing their inner state of consciousness and desire , are connected either to Maha maya or Yoga maya , i.e., the spiritual or material energies . This is in accordance with their free spirit. They move naturally towards one or the other , and the tatasta Brahman regions are the place where free will is exhibited. It appears our consciousness , having this free spirit , connected itself to Maha maya , we are in the material universes. Balarama , being our father , and in that sense Balarama and Krishna are one , so , Balarama detected our desire for independence , and independence was not directed towards pure devotional desires and attractions for Krishna . Desire for relationships is something also inherant , so facilities that are outside of the spiritual kingdoms are the business of the material energies . Relationships are temporarily situated and somewhat unfulfilled within matter . It’s a sureal existence without Krishna . However, the living beings , who could not feel spontaneous attraction for the spiritual realms , and having remained in a brahman impersonal energy for some time , take to the alternative surreal material world. ” Spirits in the material world,” as Madonna once sang . Arrangements are made because Krishna and His first expansion Balarama are all-knowing . Automatically through the ethereal and spiritual planes and within the multidimensional unlimited space time arrangements , the living beings arrive in matter . Initially, with relatively exalted consciousness . Mahamaya or Durga Devi has the task of providing an illusion of artificial lordship and sensual pleasures , and thus tempting and inspiring the individual to enjoy a separate existence from God , and further and further entanglements begin .
Some people say God knows everything , but does He know when you will turn in Love towards Him , and how you will love Him and the intensity ?
In conditioned consciousness , one is firmly in His energy . As the high court judge knows the destination of the criminal , so a harmful soul is under Gods grips , with predicable consequences , but not a pure soul . He has his full freedom and is unpredictable in love . Love in real spiritual terms is every increasing , and unpredictable .
