The Vedic way.

Adharma is corrected, and Dharma is always established.

One could ask the question in what particular ways had Duryodhana and Dhritarashtra’s irreligious actions , cause Lord Krishna to feel the absolute need to reestablish , in the strongest possible terms , all of the fundermental moral , ethical and religious teachings  on the battlefield field of Kurukshetra , which also included systematic and complete yoga systems being taught  ultimately culminating in teachings of  pure Bhakti yoga?   The results of the battle of Kurukshetra brought King  Yudhistira , the originally rightful Autocratic king  , to power . This was the desire of Krishna, and whilst doing so, Krishna fulfilled many purposes. What did Duryodhana and Dhritarashtra do that was so  unacceptable to Lord Krishna . In todays world , let us think about  what we are witnessing amongst our leaders and what could be learned from the two time periods. Are there any parallels clearly seen in the activities of the two overly ambitious pretenders who attempted to usurp power , i.e., Duryodhana and Dritarashtra, and today’s leaders who pretend to know what’s good for the people and claim to be the worlds well wishers .We appear to need Krishna and Yudhishthira back with us again that’s for sure many know it . However Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Nityananda prabhu are doing the re-education, and it’s a peaceful ongoing process. The world will wake up to pretenders and begin to recognise the real intelligensia who are truly well wishers of all men , creatures, and mother Earth .

Here is an Ai edited version of events .
“Dhritarashtra and Duryodhana violated fundamental tenets of dharma (righteousness) by treacherous plots against the Pandavas and aggressively pursuing absolute power for themselves, Their repeated subversion of justice and morality necessitated the Kurukshetra war when  Krishna  purged the earth of corrupt rulers and established the rightful and righteous Yudhishthira as emperor.
Duryodhana’s Acts of Adharma
Duryodhana was driven by unchecked greed, pride, and burning jealousy toward his cousins, the Pandav
• Attempted Assassination: He orchestrated multiple deadly plots against the Pandavas, most notably the burning of the lac palace (Lakshagriha) to eliminate them and claim to the throne
• The Rigged Dice Game: With the help of Shakuni, Duryodhana used deceitful gambling to strip Yudhishthira of his kingdom, wealth, and freedom
• Public Humiliation of Draupadi: In an act of unparalleled cruelty, Duryodhana and his brother Dushasana dragged Queen Draupadi to the royal assembly and attempted to disrobe her.
• Defiance of Divine Counsel: When Krishna visited the Kuru court as a final ambassador of peace, asking for just five villages to avoid war, Duryodhana arrogantly refused and attempted to illegally arrest Krishna.
Dhritarashtra’s Complicity
As the sovereign ruler, Dhritarashtra failed in his primary duty to uphold justice.
• Blind Nepotism: Dhritarashtra was blinded by unnatural, excessive affection for his son Duryodhana, consistently excusing Duryodhana’s criminal plot
• Abetting Oppression: He allowed the humiliating dice game to proceed and even returned the Pandavas’ kingdom briefly, only to allow another rigged game shortly after, forcing the Pandavas into a 13-year exile.
Krishna’s Divine Mission .
Krishna did not initiate the war for personal revenge but as a cosmic necessity to reduce the burden of wicked kings on Earth and re-establish a moral and just  society.
• Protecting the Virtuous: Krishna guided the Pandavas—who symbolized righteousness—so that justice could be served, they were the rightful leaders .
• The Universal Emperor: Krishna required an ideal, dharmic ruler like Yudhishthira to lead the world so that dharma could flourish. He orchestrated the conflict to ensure evil was permanently eliminated from the political sphere.”

I will comment shortly on the above , putting it in context with today’s libertines and the  immorality in governance systems in a so called free world . A world where infiltrated democracies claim to represent the electorate but in reality where fools and the uneducated vote in fools . The fools voted in become the servants of ruthless global conglomerates  and centralised financial institutions who favour monopolies and exploitation over fare trade deals . Insider trading and corruption levels are ever increasing but are hidden , the dark webb being one of its many tools ..

The Vedic cultures , led by the intelligensia, are destined to return . The revolution of consciousness is under way and not violent warfare . The unthinking are so unthinking that they can not understand the subtle workings or influences of the Sankirtana movements . Ultimately , this universe is under the control of karmic rules , but still mercy above justice is the perogative of Divinity , anything can happen, and in most unexpected ways .

The analysis of how society has  degraded are given in the Srimad Bhagavatam and explained by Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada…

“How Kali Infiltrated Society

  • Canto 1, Chapter 16 (How Parīkṣit Received the Age of Kali): This chapter describes King Parīkṣit discovering that the symptoms of Kali-yuga—such as unlawful violence, gambling, intoxication, and animal slaughter—have infiltrated his borders.
  • Canto 1, Chapter 17 (Punishment and Reward of Kali): Parīkṣit encounters the personality of Kali physically beating a cow (the symbol of religion/earth) and a bull. He stops Kali from wreaking havoc on society and restricts the forces of irreligion to four specific places: gambling, drinking, prostitution, and animal slaughter.

The Infiltration of Social Institutions

  • Canto 12, Chapter 2 (The Symptoms of Kali-yuga): This chapter provides the famous, hyper-specific societal predictions for how Kali will infiltrate the fabric of society, governance, and daily life as the age progresses.”

More later ….The eighteen puranas within the Vedas bring  regulations for different classes of men , those predominant in ignorance,  passion, or goodness each are guided in different ways for systematic progression.

The most important feature of Vedic culture is that those in the psychological modes of passion and ignorance,  don’t ultimately direct societies . Only the pure Brahminical  Sattvic intelligentsia ,  who have realised the self-evident truth of the spiritual equality of all beings,  and their specific conditioning within the material world can lead and give advice to the Autocratic leaders. Real leaders ,  who are there for life, they are entirely dedicated to every citizen and every creature under their care and to the Sattvic intelligentsia who guide them .
