Your individual space time continuum sticks with you in the form of karmic synchronicity, thus past subtle influences and can haunt one or bring benedictions materially . Short-term gains and losses should be abandoned. One should break out of a space time continuum and put the limited calculations of astrological speculations to one side . Free will and determinism changes and can be easily utilised to quash everything of past influences. This is the power of connections to Divinity . Bhakti or devotion changes everything, and the impermanence is discarded for the permanence.
Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada has explained all in his Bhagavad Gita as it is. Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur  in his Saranagati songs , deeply and  emphatically  tells us to learn and worship Krishna,  take to the permanence of Goloka and and abandon astrological musings .His  famous songbook Saranagati and his verse commentaries, he teaches that a soul fully dedicated to Lord Krishna is removed from the jurisdiction of material fate and planetary influences

One of the six main branches of surrender described by the Thakura is Rakṣiṣyatīti viśvāso—maintaining absolute faith that Lord Krishna is one’s only protector. Relying on astrology to navigate the future indicates a lack of full faith in Krishna’s direct protection and false premises that one can be fulfilled in life when death is waiting .

This philosophy was vividly demonstrated by Bhaktivinoda Thakura’s son, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaj,  He was a master of astronomy and Vedic astrology in his youth, yet he completely gave up those calculations to dedicate his entire life to preaching the holy name, cementing the Gaudiya Vaishnava view that bhakti entirely transcends material destiny
