Lord Krishna, who is Rasaraja and full of trancendental bliss , reciprocates with all His devotees , within Vrndavana, or Mathura or Dwarka and throughout the unlimited Vaikuntha planets . krishna, through his various personal features, or through His various expansions happily and blissfully exchanges mellows of love with His unlimited qualities with His unlimited devotees.
His four features as Krishna are recorded by Srila Rupa Goswami.
1. Dhīra-lalita (The Charming & Playful Hero)
A hero who is naturally witty, expert at joking, always situated in fresh youthfulness, and completely free from anxiety. He is deeply engaged in Parakiya rasa and exchanges trancendental mellows of conjugal attractions, particularly with Srimati Radharani and the gopis of Vrindavan. This feature prominently displays His amorous, playful exchanges and lilas with Srimati Radharani.
2. Dhīra-praśānta (The Calm & Peaceful Hero). A hero who is naturally very peaceful, forbearing , highly considerate, and obliging. He acts as a profound, learned scholar who greatly assists and advises His devotees in essential lessons. Krishna exhibited this trait in His dealings with the Pandavas—acting as their gentle advisor, cousin, messenger, and charioteer while maintaining complete composure. Speaking the Bhagavad Gita was the greatest example of His counselling to the world for external time .
3. Dhīrodātta (The Compassionate & Noble Hero) A person who is naturally grave, humble, forgiving, determined, and physically attractive. He is not boastful , and He is highly chivalrous and uses His supreme power compassionately to thwart the pride of aggressive fighters. This aspect of His personality is seen when He acts as the noble prince and king of Dwarka, protecting the righteous.
4. Dhīroddhata (The Restless & Proud Hero) A hero characterized by an “envious, proud”, easily angered, restless, and complacent temperament. When Krishna adopts this mood, He manifests formidably challenging spirit specifically to match and break the ego of His adversaries. He manifests these traits temporarily when dealing with envious demons or prideful demigods (like humbling Indra during the lifting of Govardhan Hill).
The Srimad Bhagavatam has recorded all of Krishna’s dealings throughout his eternal universal travels with the material energies and within His eternal lilas in spiritual planes such as Vrndavana . Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada has elaborated on these pastimes and explains their various purposes .
It is a trancendental mistake to think that one devotees rasa is better than another , Krishna is unlimitedly pleased by His unlimited devotees . However, Srila Rupa Goswami also explains the glories of Goloka Vrndavana and the residents of Vraja and the Supreme service of Srimati Radharani , he captured the glories of Her feelings of love for Krishna somewhat. This love of Srimati Radharani, Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has revealed and tried to understand, although this love keeps increasing more and more .
