In the Srimad Bhagavatam 1.7.36 it is said .
A person who knows the principles of religion does not kill an enemy who is careless, intoxicated, insane, asleep, afraid, or devoid of his chariot. Nor does he kill a boy, a woman, a foolish creature, or a surrendered soul.

When , having heard news, her sleeping sons were killed by Asvatarma , although feeling deep grief ,she felt she did not want the mother or family of Ashvatarma to feel the same grief as she was feeling by ordering Ashvatarmas death .
Revenge is not the business of any intelligent, thoughtful, or highly cultured persons….
The complexities of identifying the original historical inhabitants of any land are obvious, and it’s definitely unclear in any part of the world . Just who are the original inhabitants of any tract of land ? The history of earth is long , a Darwinian hypothesis should be rejected, we were not ever apes . Civilizations have existed for over 4.5 billion years, the Vedas indicates. Civilizations come and go over these periods .The cyclic movements of 4.5 billion years are also revealed within the Vedas .
In the case of the latest conflicts of interests , the same complexities are prevalent. With a long written history and history’s long forgotten .
It makes sense and would be best if both sides admit to historical discrepancies and also encroachments , as well as past misdeeds . Settle up with some permanent arrangements for the sake of peaceful solutions . The self-evident truth of the equality of all beings before Divinity should be prominent. For the sake of innocent persons who are suffering and who depend on leaders to be just and fair, leaders must take note of the real intelligensia. Political parties are not an intelligentsia.
Neither Israel, USA .or Palestinian authorities have a vision or any good sense to be able to move forward . They must rely on the genuine intelligentsia to guide them . Ancient encroachments within historical context need to be viewed not by political parties or immature religious persons who are not really Godly but are actually mere neophytes .Currently, irresponsible leaders who lack good academic counsel appear hell-bent on revenge in all kinds of demoniac ways . Time to call for independent thoughtful and mature thinkers beyond the irresponsible political classes. Constructive futures and lasting relationships between all citizens are needed .This is impossible for biased self-motivated contributors who have attachment to their versions of history and have hatred or perverse religious interpretations.
Two persons come to mind who could begin to assemble a council and also gather real religious leaders who have real sensitivity and no hatred .
