Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s Harinama Sankirtana movement means in simple terms ” Come, everyone , drop everything , everyone come to Goloka Vrndavana and join the residents there who have only one thing on their minds , the unlimitedly attactive Krishna who is known as Rasa Raja , give up all your material anxieties and concerns that forever entangle you in woes and troubles right up to your death “
When A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and other teachers in his lineage spoke about anxiety and a pure devotee (kṛṣṇa-bhakta), they explained that true peace comes from surrendering to Krishna rather than having material demands or seperate interests in a bid to lord it over nature .
Prabhupada taught that ordinary people and materialists (karmīs) are full of anxiety because they carry unfulfilled material claims, desires, and expectations. A pure devotee has no personal material demands , because they understand thd sciences of self realisation and the difference between the body and consciousness. They know they are spiritual.
In his lectures (such as in Mayapur on April 1, 1975), Prabhupada taught that increasing Krishna consciousness removes kuntha anxiety and dalliances of the material world , turning one’s consciousness into an original spiritual state (Vaikuntha, meaning “free from anxiety”
AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada also distinguished between material worry and “Krishna anxiety”—caring and absorbing oneself in how to serve, remember, or glorify Krishna, which is the actual perfectional stage of the heart , is a beneficial anxiety, rather than a source of distress.
The Vedas clarifies that becoming a devotee does not mean life is completely devoid of external danger or physical difficulties, but that one develops a firm conviction and shelter in Krishna’s protection and one blissfully accepts difficulties with detachment and adsorption in Krishna consciousness and Goloka Vrndavana
