The exit strategy

The endless cycles of war and peace and the collective karma costs .

Srimad Bhagavatam 7.1.8 explains the turbulence of the material world .The modes of passion , goodness, and ignorance compete with each other for dominance both personally and within the greater communities, both nationally and internationally and as well universally .It appears everyone gets a share of the action,  as the karmic synchronicities play out within the modes of nature,  no one is innocent in the material worlds.

The Supreme Personality of Godhead allows the degrees of free will and determinism to take place. Naturally at different times, either goodness,  passion, or ignorance dominates. The Lord is impartial and facilitates  the conditioned souls in their desires . It’s also a question of individual and collective karma playing out . Combined sinful activities and lack of sacrifice and atonement affect  universal affairs.  Divinity , during the course of universal history’s , sends to the material worlds endless representatives to bring forth theologically based cultures that enable the prominence of goodness , His favoured administrative system . However, it’s the nature of the independent self seeking enjoyers to abandon the good and take to passion and ignorance . In democracies ignorance and passion are voted in, and goodness is abandoned . Greed and envious consciousness bring miseries and harm to others , killing and degradation follows and destroys intelligently led  cultures. Wars and conflicts are also prominent when goodness is overshadowed .  Darkness and ignorance set  into humanity , and the good is forgotten . It’s  cancelled out almost entirely, says the Bhagavatam . These cyclic movements of the good , the bad, and the ugly constantly move in millions of years repeated cycles . Although  everyone is facilitated , demons alike ,  whatever their  consciousness .However, ultimately, goodness again becomes prominent and is established by Divinity . He reestablishes the principle of goodness and the  philosophically based sciences of self realisation . It’s these actions  that push ignorance and pride to one side .

One can read the words of Srila AC Bhavtivedanta Swami Prabhupada. he gives the full understanding of the above  text in hand and comments in all his litratures on these matters . It’s difficult to understand the material world,  but one must do so and make a serious plan to exit it . That is clearly Krishna’s advice in Bhagavad Gita.
