Perhaps in the minds of many , but the mutational mathematical issues are apparent , engineering is not a something adhok but rather thought about , structured and planned. We see evidence of high-quality engineering plus codes that cause informational processes to start to combine molecules in set ways .
The Cyclic cycles of the universal creations mean that the beginnings of the species,  and there are according to Vedic records 8,400,000 different species,  across the  multidimensional universe , as hinted at by Lisa Randall the Harvard Prof. So, the reconstituted universal cycles have been functional eternally. The responsive universe ,  functional by interactions with our subtle ethereal energies , are according to the Vedas , what we see . Bohr and Schrödinger may be closer to the Vedic responsive model than the scientific materialism one , or the Darwinian one , where scientific dualism has been ruled out .
In regards to the species,  the Vedas say …same engineer different engineering, the wheel , the pistons , pulleys or valves , for instance are used in numerous ways , and engineering designs are repeatedly seen in man made machines . Our body, and every species of life are sophisticated machines …But do you think the engineer has limitations,  one could compare the capability and capacity of a photon with the sun itself,  there is and isn’t a comparison. So the Vedas tell of the creation,  maintenance, and destruction of the universe in repeated cyclic cycles,  all the species simply reform,  where they left off , in the previous cycle. The experience of material life goes on like a virtual reality,  however the eternal universes where these cycles are absent are also available,  we have to learn about them and our consciousness will automatically take us in due course of time .

Thus the Vedas has full definitions of the spiritual and material planes of existence.
