In Gaudiya Vaishnavism, the individual soul is described as a minute particle of spirit, yet it possesses a spiritual potency that far exceeds the material world. The Gaudiya Vaishnava acharyas (spiritual teachers) explain that the soul is brighter than many suns in its pure, original state,  the spiritual emotions and trancendental bliss cannot be compared to mundane emotions of our experience . The soul has immense spiritual energy because it is a part of the supreme energetic source, Lord Krishna. The acharyas unpack this profound concept through specific philosophical understanding . While the soul’s energy is vast, its structural size is described as infinitesimally small. The Svetasvatara Upanishad (5.9), frequently cited by Gaudiya acharyas like Srila Prabhupada, states that the soul is one ten-thousandth part of the tip of a hair. Just as the sun globe is localized in one spot but its rays illuminate the entire universe, the microscopic soul is situated in the heart but its energy (consciousness) pervades the entire physical body , but in its liberated state it enters the highest spiritual planes and associates with the unlimited and in that sense becomes unlimited. When the soul is freed from the “rust” or covering of material illusion (maya), its natural effulgence shines brighter than the physical sun, which is merely dead matter.The acharyas teach the philosophy of  (inconceivable simultaneous oneness and difference). The soul is a particle of the supreme consciousness (cit-kana). Because it is part of Krishna, it shares His qualities, including eternity, knowledge, and bliss (sat-cit-ananda) : A drop of ocean water is qualitatively the same as the vast ocean (it is salty), but quantitatively it is tiny. The soul has immense energy, but it remains subordinate to the Supreme Soul . Right now, the soul’s brilliant energy is covered by the gross body and subtle mind, making it identify with temporary matter. When awakened through bhakti-yoga (devotional service), the soul’s true, brilliant spiritual form (svarupa) is revealed , the relationship are soul on soul , each spiritual sense can carry out the functions of others , you can embrace with your eyes and feel with the sounds of others , unlimited spiritual joy is unlimitedly experienced .In this state, its capacity to experience and expand spiritual love (prema) is limitless, far outshining any material power or celestial body.
