Real occupational purposes

The Srimad Bhagavatam illuminates the path of many types of therapeutic progressions towards a perfection of  consciousness  for everyone. It sets out many yogic paths that are also highlighted in the Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna Himself. Everyone has a particular karmic and spiritual location in more ways than one , and there are many jumping on points within the yogic paths that can take anyone to a perfection of yoga . Everything within life seems complicated. However, bringing in the Gaudia Vaisnava dimension , life can be understood practically and easily. It is intended that everyone benefits   scientifically , objectively , practically, and spiritually bestowed with insights to important subjects and with a proper sensitivity and utilising God given  logic and rationale . Divinity obviously must be a rational being, and He has open communications available with everyone and through His Cit Sakti can easily open up to further and further degrees .

As such, in regards to where we are currently situated within our occupational duties or  in any of our  likings , they can all be linked to Divinity in a sacrifice to please Him . These  practical linking processes  are described with Gaudia Vaisnavism, and Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada has laid them out in his writings. Everything  can be carried out in just ways and dutifully without harm towards others . The self-evident truth of the equality of all beings before Divinity is central to Vedic cultures. All  persons and all  creatures and the environment are pleasing and are in balance when Divinity is pleased .This is the central theme of  Vedic culture  .When one is aligned with Divinity in any way, greater knowledge and good fortune automatically develop for every and everything.

These two verses give us the idea they are from the Srimad Bhagavatam.

The supreme occupation [dharma] for all humanity is that by which men can attain to loving devotional service unto the transcendent Lord. Such devotional service must be unmotivated and uninterrupted to completely satisfy the self.

All occupational engagements are certainly meant for ultimate liberation. They should never be performed for only material gain. Furthermore, according to sages, one who is engaged in the ultimate occupational service should never use material gain to cultivate sense gratification.

In spiritual life, you simply add Krishna consciousness to what you are already doing. Whatever you can do ,  do it as a sacrifice for Divinity . Being directed by the Divine  is obviously the superior choice , The Demoniac instructions should be ignored,  Krishna tells us how they work in the Bhagavad Gita.

Everything that is contained within the Vedas is objectively verifiable. The science of self realisation and knowledge of dualism is self-evident truth , anyone who says different is basically unscientific in their approach to life and develops perverse worldviews . Even Richard Dawkins says design is everywhere but ” ignore it “

Albert Einstein says .

Religion without science is blind and science without religion is lame.

Consciousness study is the Vedic way, and consciousness perfection is its goal .

Know and treat disease,  especially the disease of external coverings .

Guest: Could you explain further, purification of the senses? You said that you had to purify your senses before you can see God.

Devotee (1): Purification of the senses.

Prabhupāda:” Yes. Just like in a diseased condition of your eyes, you can not see. In the diseased condition of your hand, you can not touch. In the diseased condition of your leg, you can not walk. All your senses, in diseased condition, cannot work. Similarly, in material diseased conditions, you can not understand what God is. You have to cure yourself from this diseased condition. Then you will see, you will touch, you will perceive, you will know, you will feel—everything.

Those who are unable to cure the disease, they want to kill. Just like a patient is suffering in very bad type of disease. The physician cannot kill, then…, cannot cure him, then he thinks, “Let me die. Let me commit suicide.” So this voidism or impersonalism is a symptom of frustration, not being able to cure the disease. But actually, the living entity is eternal. Just like a rascal or foolish man thinks that “I am suffering so much. Let me commit suicide, and it will be a great relief.” It is foolishness. He will be put into further torture after this life. He will become a ghost.

So because they do not know that living creature is eternal, they want to make the ultimate solution as void, zero. Ie , there is no God , or if there is its impersonal Brahman. But it can not be zero. It is not possible because you are eternal, full of bliss, and knowledge. Therefore, you have to cure the disease, and that curing process is Kṛṣṇa consciousness.”

Its a big problem for some persons who are in a diseased condition , if they won’t educate themselves of the particular  disease , one should and must  recognise it and  treat it . Ignoring a medical condition due to a lack of education, denial, or avoiding treatment is a massive problem that can lead to severe, irreversible consequences. In the case of the spiritual disease,  it means further karmic synchronicities must be played out in the responsive universes where 8,400,000 different species of life are on offer , with each being individually experiencing each in unique ways .When people do not understand what is happening to their bodies, they cannot advance their own health , both in this world and the health of consciousness,  we are blissful by nature , but in the material energies we are diseased by lust ,anger ,greed , envy , madness and illusions of innumerable kinds .The Dangers of Health Avoidance ,  Minor, easily treatable issues can escalate into chronic or life-threatening emergencies. In spiritual life, a good human form of life is wasted, and one becomes a street dog next life .  Untreated conditions often damage other organs or systems over time (e.g., untreated high blood pressure leading to kidney failure). The karmic consequences of all kinds of actions are full described within the Bhagavad Gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam along with examples.  Treating an advanced disease is almost always vastly more expensive than early prevention or management , certainly, it costs the soul dear to lose out on the full potential of human life . The anxiety of knowing “something is wrong” but avoiding the doctor often causes more psychological stress than facing the diagnosis directly. Similarly, many persons ignore essential philosophical inquiries or are  misled  by others .People avoid the truth. Understanding why people do this helps us address the root problem. Usually, it comes down to a few major barriers: Fear of the diagnosis, fear of pain, or fear of death. Relying on unverified internet sources or myths instead of medical professionals , or in the case of spiritual knowledge,  relying on Darwinian hypothisis or speculative sciences who teach scientific materialism  as fact based sciences  . Feeling embarrassed or ashamed of certain conditions (like mental health issues or addiction) , some ignore health issues,  some persons put of spiritual life thinking they are not good enough for God or they do not want to admit to the laws of karmic synchronicities. When patients take the time to learn about their health, everything changes. Similarly if we approach a real saintly person our lives can change , we become well equipped with spiritual knowledge and detachment in healthy ways . Health patients are able to recognize early health warning signs and communicate clearly with doctors .In the case of spiritual life attachments and unfavorable circumstances can be discussed with spiritually advanced souls and help is on hand.
