Bhakti is an individual sacrifice , it is unique and meant for Krishna and maybe not understood by many , Krishna be pleased by Bhakti , its beginnings , intermediate , or advanced stages . Although there is guidance and standards of the Bhakti of devotion processes , the Diksa and Siksa Guru allow us entrance by their grace . However it is not a competition , no one has monopolies on Bhakti , or should consider what they do is superior and someone else inferia , its up to Krishna to accept or not . It is His perogative…Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaj would say Krishna may or may not accept, it up to Him ….Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami once said that a lady would bring water to the Radha Damodar temple from the Jumuna everyday under all conditions , he witnessed this when he lived there .Prabhupada said just that simple service and attitude it would bring her to Krishna..
Bhakti is a deeply personal and intimate surrender to Krishna that no individual, group, or institution can claim to control or monopolize.
The Nature of Devotion
- No Monopoly: True devotion comes from a sincere heart, meaning no human authority can dictate or package who possesses real Bhakti , however, it is given by the grace of Bhakti devi by her representative
- Divine Grace: Krishna is completely independent; whether He accepts a person’s service depends on His own free will and mercy, not on external credentials, and He also accepts the recommendations and mercies of His established Bhaktas .
- Deep Humility: This perspective, taught by great masters like Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati , Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami, and Srila B.R. Sridhar Swami protects a seeker from spiritual pride and or sectarian arrogance.
