In regards to Lady gurus , some point out that Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada did not make Lady Gurus . However, he also did not make the men gurus. He appointed no one . Rather he followed his Guru Maharaja who said, the guru is is self effulgent to the prospective disciple, when this is understood as well as something else that Prabhupada said , ” The guru is one , no question of my guru your guru ” coupled together with Diksa Siksa Tattva we are committed to understanding of Guru Tattva. Srila Gour Govinda Swami would say ” If you want Krishna He will send a Guru ” We should also understand Sastra sanga, the param para acaryas wrote for purposes, ” When will I be eager to study the books of Rupa Goswami, says Narratom das Thakura.
Which current branch of the Caitanya tree is most successful in spreading Krishna consciousness? Everyone in their own way, no doubt, there is no one way .Although there are important foundations, the most important of which is to follow in the footsteps of all the previous acaryas . They have crossed the river , and got to the other side , and sent the boat back , as Srila BR Sridhar Swami once said . We should be sure to jump on the boat and take the full journey using the oars and keeping to the favourable currents .Sri Guru has also left instructions on how to navigate the waters , avoiding dangerous and deceiving currents .
