What is the problem with democracies..

The ministers and prime minister, although only temporarily in post , consider themselves leaders , however, are not to be considered ultimate leaders , rather, ministers of every kind are the representatives of the real leaders . In Vedic times that meant an Autocratic king who , under the directions of the intelligentsia , who were composed of Vipras , scholars of various categories, Brahminical persons , who were advanced in spiritual sciences , and who realised the self-evident truths of the consciousness in all beings , and also the Bhagavat acaryas full self realised persons , fully representative of theological texts such as the Srimad Bhagavatam. These three are essential, and the king or ministers should regard those three as the ultimate authority .So , ministers should never consider themselves our leaders , they are ministers who must follow the intelligentsia. Today’s democracies fail because ministers seriously consider themselves like Kings or they consider they need no guiding intelligentsia. Rather, they choose their own advisors who are as unfit as they are to be advising because they also fail to listen to the real intelligensia..

Prabhupāda: Well, democracy means anyone gives vote to anyone, so the man who takes the vote he may not be trained up, so there is danger in democracy. Just like in America it is now failed. You know such an exalted person president Nixon he is now charged with so many faults. You know that. So this is the defect of democracy, by simply votes you may elect somebody then again you will charge him with so many faults. Therefore the administrator class of men must be trained up, satyam, śaucam, titikṣā, like that. If he is not trained up, simply by votes if one is exalted in a post then again the reaction will be that Nixon was voted again he is charged with so many faults, that is the defect of democracy.

Prabhupāda: The university will train, what for this Educational Department, this should be the process of training. The first class men should be trained like this, second class men should be trained like this, third class men should be trained like this.

Prabhupāda: Here, the direction is in the Bhagavad-gītā, take the direction, and educational directors may take help and do that.

The complete Vedic literature of which the Srimad Bhagavatam and the Bhagavad Gita are bringing key essentials to humanity are available . There is  nothing new . To understand the wisdom and apply it , the intelligentsia have their realised knowledge source, the Vedas , and  through Sabdha Brahman ,  pure vibration ,  and through pure intelligence , of the genuine intelligentsia , every thing is revealed , truth and widom follow the truthful and wise . Lord Visnu, who has created the world for the educational purposes of the living beings, has already said everything on educational matters of all sorts . The intelligentsia understand them by His grace, and by their purity,  these two circumstances bring perfection .

Educated democracies under the care of the intelligentsia  would work , but ministers must know they are ministers and not leaders .

The Vedic way of justice..

Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaj and Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami said the Vedic way is to call out injustices,.. one who does wrong or suffers wrong is wrong . In the Gaudiya Vaishnava lineage, these great teachers (acharyas) emphasized that upholding dharma (righteousness) means refusing to be passive in the face of adharma (injustice or wrongdoing). Tolerating or silently watching injustice is considered a dereliction of moral and spiritual duty, because both the perpetrator of a wrong , the passive enabler ,or sufferer who accepts degradation or as karma ,without a righteous stand miss the standard of truth and the purposes of the Vedas.
