Separation brings union

In Gaudiya Vaisnavism hankering, and lamentations and feelings of separation , to different degrees, according to the maturity of the devotees, such feelings are felt in different ways , bring union or closer unions , or hints of union to Krishna and His associates. This is the only process of perfection of spiritual life and it was taught by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu to His associates. Do we consider that the Supreme Goddess of fortune Srimati Radharani forgets Krishna for a micro second , the residents of Vrndavana are following Her example of love , which is glorified throughout the spiritual and material kingdoms .There is no question of approach to Radharani or Krishna if we have other things on our minds , like wealth, fame , adoration ,or a hankering or lamentations for the trivial of the affairs of this world.

More on this later …the essence of Gaudia Vaisnavism.

This hankering for Divinity is also played out in many religious cultures. The deep meditative hankering to please and rejoin with the originator, Divinity,  is actually inherently there in every heart .The wayward souls like ourselves try to find our real home like feelings in the wrong places with the wrong people.
