When you have a GBC body  or an  ISKCON Guru, thinking his or her  or their way is the one and only way you have a problem and lack of understanding of Krishna consciousness along with its many formats . Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has revealed the processes of Krishna consciousness in His conversations with Ramananda Roy.  ISKCON began in 1965, and  ISKCON in 2026 is going to have a different feel to it ,  not least because devotees have been practising and preaching for 50 , 60 years . The fullness of the conversations that Mahāprabhu and Ramananda Roy had must always be the business of ISKCON .  With no allowance for  diversity , or if  a change in emphasis in any way were to take place, then ISKCON would miss the point .Beginnings , middles, and ends of an educational program are never given up , the emphasis is on all the steps . When you have a GBC or ISKCON guru that allows for the many in the diversity that’s progressive Gaudia Vaisnava param para . When you have a GBC or Guru stifling and centralising , minimising one part of the educational system’s, then you have a problem with the ever blooming ISKCON society. When you have ,at least in ISKCON , no clearly defined and easily understood constitution representing Srila Prabhupada and the Gaudia Vaisnava traditions that Prabhupada clearly taught , introduced and practised himself , then all these problems come about .
