ŚB 5.16.3

भगवतो गुणमये स्थूलरूप आवेशितं मनो ह्यगुणेऽपि सूक्ष्मतम आत्मज्योतिषि परे ब्रह्मणि भगवति वासुदेवाख्ये क्षममावेशितुं तदु हैतद् गुरोऽर्हस्यनुवर्णयितुमिति ॥ ३ ॥

bhagavato guṇamaye sthūla-rūpa āveśitaṁ mano hy aguṇe ’pi sūkṣmatama ātma-jyotiṣi pare brahmaṇi bhagavati vāsudevākhye kṣamam āveśituṁ tad u haitad guro ’rhasy anuvarṇayitum iti.

Translation

When the mind is fixed upon the Supreme Personality of Godhead in His external feature made of the material modes of nature — the gross universal form — it is brought to the platform of pure goodness. In that transcendental position, one can understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Vāsudeva, who in His subtler form is self-effulgent and beyond the modes of nature. O my lord, please describe vividly how that form, which covers the entire universe, is perceived.

The value work of the Bhaktivedanta Institute and the Discovery Institute can be appreciated. The supreme Personality of Godhead is the supreme scientist , within the material energies, traits of His work are found . Perfect math ,  symmetry, and perfectly calculated codes that are seen to cause the construction of every species of life in particular ways using dna and rna messengers can be objectively seen .The details of the sciences of biology,  chemistry and physics, and now quantum physics all tell the same story .In Universal Affairs, Sir Fred Hoyle said that someone has monkeyed with the universe. Unfortunately persons like Richard Dawkins who are die hard Darwinians , will never accept the obvious,  Dawkins even says to his students , you will find design everywhere,  but ignore if , if you accept it as design,  you are not a scientist. However, objective sciences are crucial in understanding our world . The Nyaya logic following of the Vedas gives the example. If you see smoke in a distant hill, you should take it. Fire is present. However, Srila Jiva Goswami indicates,  even following that rationale, one should still approach a person who has seen the fire and confirm its still burning. The smoke could come from a recently extinguished fire or a volcanic soup .

So, the importance of in-depth study and logical induction are both needed as well as hearing from a person who actually knows .Ask the person is the fire still burning , or is the smoke coming from a volcanic soup , or has the fire just now been extinguished.

The self-evident truth comes from the self effulgent acarya or teacher of truth , both Diksa and Siksa Gurus. They come in many forms .
