A place of belonging and a learning to love .

Bg. 15.7

ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूत: सनातन: ।
मन:षष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति ॥ ७ ॥

mamaivāṁśo jīva-loke
jīva-bhūtaḥ sanātanaḥ
manaḥ-ṣaṣṭhānīndriyāṇi
prakṛti-sthāni karṣati

Synonyms

mama — My; eva — certainly; aṁśaḥ — fragmental particle; jīvaloke — in the world of conditional life; jīvabhūtaḥ — the conditioned living entity; sanātanaḥ — eternal; manaḥ — with the mind; ṣaṣṭhāni — the six; indriyāṇi — senses; prakṛti — in material nature; sthāni — situated; karṣati — is struggling hard.

Translation

The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind.

Everyone has a sense of belonging. This is situated inherently within the deepest parts of our psychological makeup. As soon as we come out of the womb, we begin identifying with someone, and we begin the process of learning to love,  but we also to a degree spontaneously, love, and feel attraction. Theological students examine this loving phenomenon and seek to find its source and its perfection . They instinctively know its a lot more than neurons firing or some strange survival of the fittest instinct being played out stemming from mutations that originated in a primordial soup.

Krishna is the supreme proprietor and the original cause of all causes , He possesses  innumerable qualities and is the master of them . When we are born, we instinctively love our parents to a degree but love of anyone is a learning experience.

In spiritual life, learning is love, and love is learning. There are no limits in love , and it’s this very fact that should draw us ever closer to spiritual consciousness and particularly Krishna consciousness and all it brings
