“Sambandha, Abhidheya, and Prayojana”

One could say Sambandha means understanding who we are , our origins,  our purposes,  our potential.

This is the science of consciouseness,  its cause , its origins , its perfected state , its artificial states , how it comes to be in artificial or perfected states . Who is ultimately responsible for such states , who is creating facilities as well as governance and rules of compliance that govern artificial or perfected states . The aforesaid and a lot more are what’s meant as essential Sambandha knowledge,  which Srila Jiva Goswami delineates in his Tattva Sandarbha.

Sambandha means to establish a relationship,  you can’t  have a relationship without knowing something of the persons you’re having a relationship with .

So, in essence, Srila Jiva Goswami is giving the literal science of consciousness, along with  its source and the purposeful interactions that can be had with the source.

When those sorts  of  knowledge are  clear , then one can act in a relationship properly with respect and humility, and after acting, love can be further and further  developed. Actually, love is an action word , and in the highest realms of consciousness, actions of love  go one way only ,to  exclusively give selfless pleasure without any personal considerations for  one’s own benefit.

The mother and child relationship is a glimmer of this selfless love .

Within the unlimited are the unlimited limited

Within the inconceivable power of the Sun ,  are practically uncountable photons,  particles of  light, incidentally,  light is not made of atoms, everything else in our material universe is .

According to the Vedas, the Sun is a devolved energy from the original spiritual light that the Vedas refer to as the brahman effulgence . Mahavisnu possesses multifarious energies, spiritual light being one of them . Atomic and electro magnetic capacity is drawn from the original source of the Bramajyoti . Scientifically speaking , light can not be destroyed , but can be  obsorbed , if not obsorbed  the light particals will  it carry on existing,  within  universal time , thus the hint of the eternal spiritual light is given .

The Vedas often give analogies to explain various philosophical points , eg., the Sun can be compared to God , and the particles of light of the sun are compared to countless  conscious living beings , who have the same qualities of God  in their pure existence , but not the same quantity of powers or attraction .  Within the unlimited Divinity are the  unlimited “limited’s .”  Sri  Caitanya Mahāprabhu has revealed to  the  world the  truth of the  simultaneously and inconceivably oneness and difference . Individual living beings are expanded  from Divinity . The unlimited expands Himself into the unlimited limited , and thus , in spiritual math , one plus one equals  one , one minus one equals one . Srila Jiva Goswami , in his Tattva Sandarbha, says that Divinity has made the impossible possible.

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has given us this understanding of the inconceivable and simultaneous one and difference between Himself and His part and parcels . This is the  explanation of the origins of all particles of consciousness,  or souls . The eternals come from the eternal, and there is no limit to the eternal’s . In that way, it’s understood that there has never been a time when we or God did not exist. Some souls are manifestly active , and some dormant , ready to be expanded.

It is concluded by great Vaisnava philosophically minded thinkers that an over emphasise of the oneness,  or an over emphasise of the difference, are both unsound philosophical positions . The truths about God and the souls or particles of consciousness are revealed by Mahāprabhu and explained perfectly by Srila Jiva Goswami in his Tattva Sandarbha drawing  such truth from the Srimad Bhagavatam the natural commentary of the Vedanta Sutras.

ataḥ śrī-kṛṣṇa-nāmādi
na bhaved grāhyam indriyaiḥ
sevonmukhe hi jihvādau
svayam eva sphuraty adaḥ

Translation

“ ‘Therefore material senses cannot appreciate Kṛṣṇa’s holy name, form, qualities and pastimes. When a conditioned soul is awakened to Kṛṣṇa consciousness and renders service by using his tongue to chant the Lord’s holy name and taste the remnants of the Lord’s food, the tongue is purified, and one gradually comes to understand who Kṛṣṇa really is.’

When Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu displays His ultimate lessons in Jagganath Puri , exhibiting the inner workings of the mind and senses of Srimati Radharani , its noted in Caitanya Caritamrita that each of his senses were like five wild horses each independently desperate to hear Krishna , see Krishna , taste Krishna , touch Krishna , smell Krishna , other example in the Srimad Bhagavatam are recorded, that those with purified senses are mad for Krishna and ever enthusiastic to satisfy His emaculate spiritual senses.

When Srimati Radharani hears Krishna’s flute, she becomes like a raging river , she is known by the name of Suratarangani Radhe . Nothing can get in Her way , and the forest paths of Vrndavana open up as She runs to the trysting grounds to meet Her lover .

In material consciousness, we have some enthusiasm to selfishly satisfy our limited senses and think that that will satisfy our soul , how foolish we are .

The original spiritual senses are directly connected to the soul and thus the ecstatic emotions of the soul are only experienced in Krishna consciousness and Sri Guru who has spiritual senses can direct us , giving instructions for the uncovering process , and the real spirit senses can be enacted in services to Krishna.

Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur has clearly described who Sri Guru is .

He is not of this realm, and accordingly, he may, for preaching purposes, have one foot in the material world and one in the spiritual planes.

The materially motivated disciple may attempt to bring his Guru to the material plane by making material calculations as to why Sri Guru says and acts in  ways that may go  against the grain of modern materialistically  accepted  norms , after reading the current new age hypocrisyof , ” let’s all me nice to each other,” but at the same time, practice cancel culture , the mundane disciple may give up on trancendental consciousness and loose faith in something truly sublime , ultimately such a person places more faith in material sentiments.

Current times bring many fake narratives, and the net and mainstream media are awash .With so much new age thinking  and super liberalism permeating the airwaves  giving subjective opinions as to what is  good or  what is bad , the prospective spiritual searcher may not  understand Sri Guru  and his position beyond the dualism of  good and bad . Sri Guru is a direct representation of Divinity Himself and thus  trancendental to material calculations.  He represents the all good Supreme trancendental autocrat ,  as such, by following his strict path along with discipline, we begin to leave the dualities of material life  far behind  us , those that are based on our own sensual or mental space , and we can begin to enter transcendence  , making the real trancendental couple the objects of our attention.

On the battlefield of Kuruksetra, Arjuna  initially had  so many material considerations  why he should not fight , Krishna dismissed them all .

The real messages of the Rasika bhakta  are capable of penatrating the heart of the sincere . It’s never dependent on perfect management strategies or any mundane considerations . In communicating their all-important messages , Divinity Himself appears in trancendental sound, such  a trancendental sound enters the heart of the disciple.
Some persons who are expert at managment theory and its  application  and who are  perceived as “nice ”  externally with perfect dealings and social customs , but who  within their hearts have no depths or taste for real krishna consciousness can never help us , rather they can hinder us with material calculations. Whilst the Rasika bhakta can easily be misunderstood by his external behaviour , the verse is there in sastras that to understand the mind of the pure devotee is not easy , Similarly,  occasionally his external behavior and speaking .
Sometimes, Srila Prabhupada brought his disciples to tears with his trancendental anger , externally, it could  appear unreasonable.  Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja would smash his fists on the table and become red with anger . On one occasion, he told that a particular disciple could never directly come in touch with him ever again and could get his association  indirectly and only through his some of his leading  disciples . Many examples can be given of what might appear apparently as unreasonable and ” unvaisnava ” like behaviour of pure devotees throughout the  history of Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas.

Perfect math, perfect inspiration .There is much debate amongst different  philosophical thinkers and most definitely between the Darwinians and  the theological  as to the origins of math .The thinking goes like this: Was  math invented by thoughtful men and women, or has it always been and consequently discovered ? In reality , if we care to look closer at nature and the laws of physics or quantum physics, perfect math and symmetry are found , math can predict and explain our universe,  thus the universe is full of math . Every part of the microbial and universal order is calculable and is to one degree or another calculated . Although there is still more math to learn , even by the greatest mathematical brains , the Vedas indicates multidimensional math as well as math beyond one’s comprehension. For instance, dark energy and dark matter work in mathematical ways as yet undetected .

When it comes to calculations of any kind , it always involves intelligence , thus, if we detect perfect math, we should rightly come to certain conclusions.

Nyaya logic says , where there is smoke, you know there is fire .

Lord Krishna in His Bhagavad Gita lays claim as the originator of mathematics .

ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo
mattaḥ sarvaṁ pravartate
iti matvā bhajante māṁ
budhā bhāva-samanvitāḥ

I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who perfectly know this engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.

Krishna also declares in the Bhagavad Gita that He is the ability in men and women . Any creature exhibiting wondrous activities , from bees creating perfect hexagonal honeycombs down to the molecular structures of the protein machines , thousands of them operating in every one of our cells , are perfect exhibitions of perfect math , and the design and operational directives of Krishna.

The wonderful abilities in mankind , the artistry the music , the dramatic performance of dance , are all borrowed plumes,  but have been  rightly awarded and given to people who have tapped in and discovered  some of the unlimited beauty of different aspects of creation and life .

The spirtual abodes are another energy that can be tapped into , Hildergard Von Bingen, the Christian Nun , could do so , listen to her music or read her writings, or cast an eye over her paintings . The Vedic thinkers very much appreciate her work or the mathematical designs in Mosques.

Stephen Hawkins asks how did it all begin ? …

There is , according to the Vedas , a cause of all causes . The Vedas defines such a cause and the purposes of the cause . Primarily, everything is  centred around consciousness, and the material energies are a secondary factor , both consciousness and the formation of matter are delineated in detail as well as speciation. The  Vedas further  clearly defines the nature of the  original causes personality and traits consisting of varigatedness within a spiritual and material plane , everything is one and different from the cause .
Although the original cause had no cause , something those that have been caused can’t get their heads around,  still , inconceivable energies are flowing throughout the universes as well as within each individual body that carries consciousness. To separate the laws of nature of  the universe, which has a functional purpose , from the origins of the universe who saw the need of the functioning universe will be essential as much as separating the high court judge from the prison.
The clue to understanding God is to  properly understand oneself , the independent nature of the sparks of consciousness that originate from the whole  inherently possess free will , and  that will  need facilitating with facilities.
What is difficulty ?

The proud proud Darwinian or the proud, proud followers of scientific materialism bodly declare to God.
” Show yourself to me.”
Never mind that we see obvious traits of what is obviously design in all things , at least in the minds of the logical person ,  along with obvious codes and informational exchanges that build the protein machines thst build the cells , that build the bodies of all creatures. On the surface of things , any sane persons can accept such observations , as Sir Fred Hoyle noted, it’s all too perfect .
Yet ,  such a mighty engineer as Divinity Himself ,the  charletons who claim to present objective science shout out to Him , ” If you exist, come and show yourself.”
Thus, the uncultured man presumes much of himself, so much so that he issues orders to God .
This is the nature of rascals .
There are also many scientific and philosophical reasons why Divinity is everywhere and nowhere .One only needs to  enquire from a person who truthfully and objectively sees truth

Srimad Bhagavatam 1.1.1.

O my Lord, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, son of Vasudeva, O all-pervading Personality of Godhead, I offer my respectful obeisances unto You. I meditate upon Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa because He is the Absolute Truth and the primeval cause of all causes of the creation, sustenance and destruction of the manifested universes. He is directly and indirectly conscious of all manifestations, and He is independent because there is no other cause beyond Him. It is He only who first imparted the Vedic knowledge unto the heart of Brahmājī, the original living being. By Him even the great sages and demigods are placed into illusion, as one is bewildered by the illusory representations of water seen in fire, or land seen on water. Only because of Him do the material universes, temporarily manifested by the reactions of the three modes of nature, appear factual, although they are unreal. I therefore meditate upon Him, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is eternally existent in the transcendental abode, which is forever free from the illusory representations of the material world. I meditate upon Him, for He is the Absolute Truth.

Fight the good fight with all thou might ….

So many of us spend our time fighting for justice or fighting to show injustices or arguing about what we regard as truth and pointing out deceitful and underhand behaviour
But we , the Vedas say , have to remember that there is unity in diversity on one level ,and at the same time, a  material world has many, many complex reasons for coming into being , somehow  karmic synchronicities must play out but ultimately justice is always an over riding principle as well as arranging for learning proccess for everyone. On a trancendental level, all discord is harmonized in the absolute as Srila Bhakti Rakshak Sridhar Swami would say , we can say not only the spiritual planes but to a degree within the material world.

Ultimately, there is the underlying principle of an absolute truth and a supreme autocrat.
The supreme autocrat is the origins of truth , justice, and mercy , as well as the all important principle of mercy above justice,  essential for liberation and freedom.
Those who can not understand this  unity  in diversity on multiple levels spend their entire  time ignorance, like fighting monkeys or dogs, as they desperately try to establish artificial supremacy.

The Bhagavad Gita was spoken on a battlefield. Sometimes, absolute good has to reestablish the highest of principles , as much as a high court judge has a job to  reestablish law to protect against those who insist on causing harm to others and that’s the perogative of legitimate higher authority who have wisdom in real terms.

Flavours and journeys of deceit

In this material world, one can find flickering flavours  of relationships , of humour, of beauty , of  enthusiasms , of appreciations  . Flavours of sensual and emotional experiences of every conceivable kind are found within the 8400000 species of life , 400000 of which are human like . Practically unlimited material rasa or mellows of experiences are found within the material energies . Everything is completely overseen and has supervisory bodies attached to proceedings and God , who is directly and indirectly conscious of all affairs . A material and  specific body is  awarded by higher authorities , and  every one of us is  enjoying and suffering some sweet fruits some bitter . Everyone will have to admit these temporary  experiences are  hard fought for and that everything we have  and work for is   in a declining situation. What a sad state of affairs , as time takes away, against our will the permanency of life .

The origins of permanency are accompanied by not only full flavours but also ever new and increasing flavours . Explicit details are given in the Vedas of experiences beyond atoms,  elements, and compounds . Whilst  experiencing the material senses along with various temporary  flavours , a certain sense of frustration  inevitably comes about . A shallow  consciousness that explores only  the  peripherals  of life hankers after much deeper cor values and experiences . In such a condition  the  intelligence is  called  Buddhi yoga , as it develops  intelligence clearly reveals the true value  and potential of consciousness outside of the temporary material body , the  Bhagavad Gita calls these material activities the field  of the body .

It is the arrangements  of Krishna that those who come to this world are able  to experience  reflections of the super subjective reality ,  but that  such reflections  of  permanency will  never  substitute for the origins of sensual  and emotional experiences where unlimited flavours  in the original spiritual form are found . These spiritual feelings and experiences are  recorded by Srila Jiva Goswami,  Srila Rupa Goswami , Srila Ragganatha das Goswami, and Srila Sanatana Goswami , and other  trancendental Proffesors within the Gaudia Vaisnava school.

The Vedic literature indicates that those who are caught up in temporary affairs can not give their attention to  permanency.    This is a great problem for us.  We have to extract ourselves from the temporary addictions and strive for the permanent origins and beauty of our consciousness . No one gets something for nothing.

The mind and senses  have taken us on a long, long  journey of deceit , we must know it , and we must research these  topics .  We must understand the pushings of  the scientific materialism educator, and those that insist Darwinian hypothesis is fact based science , we must know , they are clueless when it comes to understanding consciousness.

We must know life comes from life , that’s our experience , just as when we see smoke, we know there is fire .

There, by the grace of God, go I.

When coming to the Holy Land of Vraj, one might say to oneself , ”  Who am I to enter such a land?” A Western  bodied  person brought up in ways  of exploitation and sinful life .

When Krishna enacted His beautiful pastimes in Vraj with  all heartfelt simplicity on full display , many demons came to disturb those  wonderous events , one after another they came in all kinds of deceitful ways , a pretence of friendship or even motherhood were effected.

Krishna and Balarama were not fooled and disposed of all those deceitful elements  , but because of the sweetness and hearty nature of Krishna , when killing demons, He awarded them benedictions.

Has Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Lord Nityananda taken matters much much further , in allowing a Western contaminated person a chance to enter Krishna’s domain , and although completely unfit and with varieties of deceitful consciousness weighing him down , allowed him some insights and some preliminary entrance into the open hearted sweetness of the residents of Vraja,  the ever enthusiastic sweetness of playfulness that permeates the hearts of all who are born there .

Certainly, Mahaprabhu has brought the highest to the lowest. Thus, magnanimity is on full display, and anything is possible,  even the demons , who have a disturbing nature , not only getting liberation but also being allowed to enter into His family and friends and become one of them eternally. Actually, one of those residents, AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, wondered the globe in the mood of Nityananda prabhu extending invitations to one and all , Prabhupada said I have a key to the back door , one may consider carefully what he meant by that .

A love in training..

Beyond friends and enemies.

The human form of life is an opportunity to go beyond the realms of human conditioning, even beyond a platform of friends and enemies ,which itself is tinged with conditions and is systematic of the realms of duality. In essence that means understanding and communing with the greater community , this state of consciousness is called initially Brahman consciousness as defined in the Bhagavad Gita , and as the consciousness develops it reaches the Paramatma understanding of consciousness, that Divinity is the cause of all causes , a more personal understanding of all the pervading oneness. Ultimately, in Bhagavan consciousness, one begins to develop a deep individual relationship with love and attraction with Krishna through His personal associates, who has never left His side , unlike us .
