This is a song written by Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur, who encourages us to associate and serve the topmost devotees of the Lord , by doing so remarkable transformations in ones life takes place and all previous inauspiciousness is removed and replaced by the blessings of those who are the intimate servants of the Goddess of fortune.
Srila Jiva Goswami writes in his Bhakti Sandarbha. That the mercy of the topmost is the root cause of the destruction of those bad habits that the Bhakti practitioner could hardly give up through many of his own endeavours .
Krishna says in His Bhagavad Gita this material energy is very difficult to overcome but by my mercy it is easily overcome.
That mercy and strength is acquired by the mercy , blessings and well wishes of His devotees.
In this age of Kali , an age full of degradation. Mahaprabhu has given us two important proccesses , which work hand in hand , to chant Gods names and to associate with pure devotees , they work interchangeably.

All occupational engagements are certainly meant for ultimate liberation. They should never be performed for material gain. Furthermore, according to sages, one who is engaged in the ultimate occupational service should never use material gain to cultivate sense gratification.
The supream Personality of Godhead means just that He is supreme in all respects , He is simultaneously one a different from everything and every person or living being .
Every living being is relevant . Krishna has an all-inclusive, loving nature. His supreme majesty deminishes, and His supreme sweetness is increasingly experienced when any person in any condition turns to Him .
He is all-inclusive, and in therapeutic ways, any occupation we may have can be linked in devotion to Him and if we do so our understanding of Him increases. It is unfathomable that God who creates and maintains billions of universes and who is situated everywhere and no where , who is the greatest of the great and smallest of the small , would turn his attention to us in any meaningful way with love and effection, but indeed He does .
In a small way, Albert Einstein said he treats a street sweeper in the same way a university Proffesors . This is the symptoms of a man in knowledge.
Everyone and everything are relevant, Brahman vision of the Brahminical intelligensia is like that and is full of compassion and understanding.
The above verse indicates we should increase our love and devotion to Divinity and not get caught up in unnecessarily and overly satisfying senses that are never satisfied
In Vedic Culures, it’s well understood that you will only find objective truth amongst the Brahminical classes who are detached from external affairs and who are the well wishes of all living beings . From others, you will find subjective narratives or outright lies based on biased agendas and ideologies , tainted by selfish pursuits , based on hatred and envy . Thus, the importance of understanding and identifying the pure intelligensia is key to finding harmony even within discord. In conditioned life with materially covered senses and a material body , your sensual mental and intellectual experiences only slightly touch your soul . And relatively, according to ones karmic position and advancement in higher realms of deeper emotional connections , each person feels differently. The soul is eternal. Full of knowledge of its own glory and full of bliss . In ones original spiritual body with spiritual senses all emotional experiences directly touch and ignite the soul in blissful emotionally and spiritually surcharged bliss , that are felt as ever new and ever increasing pleasures , thus the full science of consciouseness should be understood . The Srimad Bhagavatam reinforces the importance of recognizing bone fide theological texts from all religious cultures that distinguish reality from illusion for the welfare of all beings . This recognition is based on consciousness development and not on the unnecessary extravagance of satisfying an unbridled mind and senses . Every theological text wiil place emphasis on a regulated and disciplined life , humans are not sophisticated animals, ultra liberalism is condemned . Unbridled senses leads to greater anxiety and entanglements , and so the Vedas recognize every theological text that pursues and teaches these controls and regulations . This guidance and its methods are explained through karma yoga , jnana yoga , and astanga yoga . In other words, through 1, good works linked to recognised pious activities , 2 . Seeking knowledge through science and understanding of mind , matter and consciousness , and 3 ,deep inward religious or spiritual meditations on God . The Bhagavatam seeks to link all these processes to Bhakti or direct devotion to Divinity . These occur in progressive forward steps that benefit the individual . This truth of the Bhagavatam is specifically taught by Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu, whose hidden appearance is predicted in the 11th canto of the Bhagavatam as the incarnation for this age . He taught that one should study the Bhagavatam and chant the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra , or the names of God , which bestow all the truths of the Vedas upon persons who can chant without offence to others and in great humility . It is said in many theological texts sound can bind one or liberate one , if one speaks in anger and envy one is bound in ignorance , if one speaks in peace and knowledge and compassion one can become liberated . In this way, there are incalculable benefits when one vibrates trancendental sound vibrations and they have effects on the inner workings of consciousness . When one has become purified by trancendental sound , one’s community , one’s society , one’s country , and ultimately the universal order and its originator Divinity Himself are all immensely pleased . By such purified actions speaking truth and vibrating Gods names in a sacrifice with the aim of serving His interests and by studying and hearing the trancendental sounds of the Srimad Bhagavatam life becomes perfected . It seems democracies have hidden elements that we should be aware of . King Prithu, in the fourth Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam, speaks of leaders . One who supports and votes for a good King will benefit from what he does because the person voting for the king , thd king himself , or persons supporting him in his government also reap good benefits . However, if one votes or supports a bad leader , one will also be somewhat liable and reap the negative energies if bad leaders act against Dharma .. Thus, if you’re going to have democracies better, be sure who you cast your vote for because subtle implications affecting your own Karmic synchronicities are at play . The Krishna consciousness movement is educating everyone to know who is acting within Dharma and who is not . Obviously, in the present age, concessions are in place , for instance, an educated man receives many more severe reactions than an uneducated man within Karmic calculations . A beautiful, or wealthy or intelligent or strong or highly renowned person exhibit special charisma which can permeate an atmosphere and everyone can feel the effects . On an absolute plane , Krishna is unlimitedly charismatic and simultaneously enters the hearts in fullness of His devotees, who each feel a personal special relationship. Both in the material world and what to speak in His personal abodes, God is said to be complete , more complete, and most complete depending on one’s particular relationship. Whenever the atheistic or impersonal philosophers consider God , they cannot concieve of the nature of His form , or they think him impersonal. But the mistake they make is comparing themselves or their experiences of form to Divinity , or they try comparing their energies and powers to His .

First lesson in the Vedas is to understand both Gods form and personal energies are not made of atoms , elements or compounds , neither are they controlled by time .Rather material energies and time are His external energies that throw and cover the original consciousness of the spiritual spark .

With logic in mind , William Paley intelligently concluded that someone finding a watch whilst walking in the long grass , bearing in mind in 1850, many country folk would have never set eyes on a watch . On examination, they would naturally assume its fine engineering and design are most certainly the work of a creative brain and exceptional intelligence . Isaac Newton thought that each individual thumbprint of human beings was clear evidence for individual design . The teleological argument , design permeates everything in nature and the universe remains as strong as it ever did and becomes stronger as scientific research progresses . Sir Fred Hoyle agrees , ” the monkeyed universe ” Recent studies of the entropy of the cell , shows the cells have low entropy, meaning high organisational levels , but at the same time, high energies operating within the cell , that one would expect to be a course of high entropy , so its puzzling how low entropy exists in an atomphere were high entropy might be expected. The fine tuning of the universe , and the so-called goldilocks phenomena , i.e., that everything is just perfect , not too much heat , or too cold , a perfect gravitational force is present , just the right amount of oxygen etc . etc . These are some examples one can give , there are many more .
Certainly, the opening pages of the Srimad Bhagavatam confirm this , the famous opening sloka declares Divinity is directly and indirectly conscious of every aspect of creation , a creation that emnates from consciousness . Life comes from life… Molecules don’t move towards life , something brings them together. The Srimad Bhagavatam itself is a series of one to one conversations through time frames , there are dialogue partners , and these constantly weave in and out of space time , over billions of years and not in any chronological order . There are references to appropriate histories and certain lessons that can be learned either from Divinity Himself or His devotees . These are defined as factual events relating to Krishna and His devotees or illustrative stories , like fables bringing home key and important philosophical points .
The Bhagavatam appears and dissappears in the long course of 311 trillion years of a set time of this universe, as much as the sun rises and sets and appears to appear and disappear. The creator god Lord Bramha has inconceivably 4.5 billion of our years as his 12 hours , its recorded in the Bhagavatam as he sleeps , a partial shut down of the universe lasting for 4.5 billion years begins , before being rebooted . Although our total universe is trillions of years old , not all it is shut down , whilst Bramha sleeps , the highest planetary systems remains unaffected.
Lord Krishna Himself comes to reestablished forgotten Dharma or principles of religion , 5000 years ago He came , and when He left after completing His purpose, the question arose what happened to Dharma ? . Dharma is a living thing , through ethereal energies, it has a supervisory system , means , if one acts within Dharma, ones life is reasonably fulfilled and progressive elevation of consciousness takes place . If one acts against Dharma, one degrades one’s consciousness and becomes helplessly entangled in reactions and sufferings within material conditioning . The key to understanding the Bhagavatam is to gain knowledge and faith in Sanatana Dharma , that is the eternal occupation of the soul , and the symptom of the soul is consciousness .
Ultimately by following Dharma it takes us to a place where consciousness can thrive , where it is surrounded by consciousness energy , and not deteriating and fluctuating matter made of atomic particals . …….The sages who question Sukadeva Goswami in the Bhagavatam, were told that when Krishna leaves this world , after His activities, Dharma and all its directions take shape in the form of the Srimad Bhagavatam . Everything for mankind is contained within its pages , and the expert person Bhagavat , who is realised in the Bhagavatam, is able to extract and understand its mysteries, in any given time , place or circumstances . No matter who we are or what we are , progressive steps are chalked out for every section of society . It is said one who does wrong or suffers wrong is wrong , and Lord Krishna always favours good Brahminical councils who bring justice to all proceedings in administrations . In its absence, there is turmoil in society reflected in the current times . Today, we see unnecessary suffering and deliberate misguidance brought about by so-called leaders who are absolutely not fit to lead . One who studies the Srimad Bhagavatam will bring great security and wisdom to himself and a family . History , science, and religion are all essential ingredients to life , otherwise, mistaken ideas develop, leading to great misfortune. Wherever there is Krishna, there is always great fortune and victory. Krishna lies within all the pages of the Bhagavatam directly or indirectly.
