What is sin, and is the universal order legislating against it .
What is sin ?
Taking something from this material world that is legitimately allotted to you by your karmic synchronicity or fate, according to your social station in life, is not sinful but can be entangleing . Although thoughtful and careful consideration of our activities should never be left within the realms of speculations or any whimsical choices , but rather must be solely based on a proper understanding of the science of consciousness , i.e ., how consciousness is elevated or degraded . Information about the scientific movements of the human psychological self is the sciences contained fully in the Bhagavad Gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam.
Thus, in Vedic culture, whatever you naturally take or acquire that has been alloted by fate having acted according to specific duties is perfectly fine , but it’s also recommended certain portions should be offered back to Divinity or His agents , or in charitable acts , in that way actions become less entangleing and far more elevating . Although piety is elevating , we should be careful not to neglect something even greater than piety , namely developing a direct relationship to Divinity Himself , that is the perfection of the short time we spend in the current body we find ourselves in .Thus , Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita, one who sees action in inaction and inaction in action is in knowledge , and everyone should unpack the mysterious nature of that statement.
Sin is defined , when someone encroaches on others’ territories or exploits other persons for selfish reasons , that will cause harm in many different ways , it can always be defined as something that goes against morality , ethics , and expected duties . It will always cause all sorts of pain to the others . One should know any physical or emotional pain one inflicts will be alloted back to the perpetrator and with interest . Sinful activities cause greater entanglements, and we should know all the persons involved are entangleing themselves
A future will play out with the same actors, but in different situations. Pay back begins .
According to ones station in life and the specific duties associated with it comes different calculations of the degrees of sin and their reaction . An educated man with social responsibility , or a leader role has to pay a heavy price if he or she performs the wrong actions . The example of a state leader issuing orders for war comes to mind , if women and children are killed or the whole basis of the war is based against the natural moral and international laws , the leader and his country will pay the price as well as the people who gave him the power in the first place .
Thus, it behoves everyone to understand how to carefully act in this life ,and ultimately how to raise one’s consciousness and awareness.
This great science of action reactions and the systematic universal responses are discussed fully in Bhagavad Gita.
The Srimad Bhagavatam and its social fabric , its science , its directions, and its offering of liberation and love
The Bhagavatam recognize the absolute importance of persons who have sufficient knowledge to not only properly guide societies members on an individual basis , but also collectively , according to an individual or category of persons needs both materially , emotionally , and the spiritual and metaphysical needs . Such are the qualities of the intelligentsia who are essential for all members of the community , indeed, they alone can build good and just Nation . The Bhagavatam demonstrates and makes clear what this type of knowledge is composed of and what the qualities of the intelligentsia are . The Bhagavatam points out clearly what essential needs are , based on the living beings’ real position ,calculated on various scientific conclusions ,which today are verified by todays biologists , chemists, and physicists , at least by those who are dedicated to objective scientific conclusions . The Srimad Bhagavatam always demonstrates a fully comprehensive approach to life, which is non sectarian and is open to all . It also makes it clear how essential knowledge is obtained and how it is practically applied in the myriad of communities of humankind . Society is taken as a body , a cooperative spirit keeps the body healthy. We can look at these matters in the following way . The Bhagavatam shows how the overall well being of all entities can only be achieved if they are directed and advised by scrupulous men and women who are of the highest characters trained in the science of consciousness and matter . Such members of the intelligentsia fully understand how consciousness can become conditioned and degraded by material modes or conditions. Leaders who actually have the qualities to lead have remedies to adjust societies for the ultimate benefit of individuals and their societies and nations . Correcting badly thought out political systems that are infiltrated by unqualified leaders , who are unscientific in every way , they are blind leaders , and their blind ” Democratic ” worshipers like lemmings are following their leaders of the cliff to societal oblivion. . The Bhagavatam shows the administrative method and qualifications of an administration that enable smooth policy and practices for organising the many different types of persons living in society . They are broadly understood as 1. Deep philosophical thinkers with sensitivity for the welfare of all . 2. those who are full of valour understanding the need for justice and protecting societies members , 3. those who are concerned with economic output and have a liking for trade , industry, and food production, 4. those who are craftsmen and trades men who essentially keep the wheels of the social machine running . Each are to fulfil their potential. The Bhagavatam shows how productive fair and just systems for business enterprise and economics ,i.e., (standards and policies) might be drawn up by independent legislators who have everyone’s economic interests at heart . Enabling a truly free market economy to flow but that has social responsibilities. The Bhagavatam shows how the working man has his interests and needs met in full with support and care . These four aspects of society are woven together and harmonized for the interests of society as a whole working in tandem with and incorporating social cohesion and social mobility . Primarily, the individual consciousness and well-being of an individual are the prominent objectives of the Bhāgavatam’s recommended administration . Its not only the material bodies so called needs which in heavily conditioned life can be symptomised by an uncontrolled mind and senses that are let loose by irresponsible administrations , who allow the widespread teaching of ignorant values stifling lifes real purposes and happiness . Vedic society gives excellent guidance and opportunities to everyone , and sets standards for everyone to pursue. HIGHLIGHTED IN 4.21.44 GRATITUDE TOWARD THE LORD .AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE BEST OF QUALITIES …A CHIEF SYMPTOM IS COMPASSION FOR ALL PERSONS AND BEINGS, A WELL WISHER ,NO ENVY TOWARDS ANYTHING. THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LEADERSHIP IS HIGHLIGHTED IN THE LIFE OF KING PRTHU.
The Srimad Bhagavatam reinforces the importance of recognizing bone fide theological texts from all religious cultures that distinguish reality from illusion for the welfare of all beings based on consciousness development and not solely on unnecessary extravagance in satisfying the unbridled mind and senses of the body . This leads to greater anxiety and entanglements , and so the Vedas recognize every theological text that pursues this goal through karma yoga , jnana yoga , and astanga yoga , or in other words through 1, good works , 2, seeking knowledge through science and understanding of mind , matter and consciousness ,and 3 ,deep inward religious or spiritual meditation on God . The Bhagavatam seeks to link all these processes to bhakti or devotion to Divinity in progressive forward steps that benefit the individual . This truth of the Bhagavatam is specifically taught by Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu, whose hidden appearance is predicted in the 11th canto of the Bhagavatam as the incarnation for this age who taught that one should study the Bhagavatam and chant the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra , or the names of God , which bestow all the truths of the Vedas upon persons who chant without offence and in great humility . It is said in many theological texts sound can bind one or liberate one , if one speaks in anger and envy one is bound in ignorance , if one speaks in peace and knowledge and compassion one can be liberated , in this way there are incalculable benefits when one vibrates the trancendental sound vibrations , they have effects on the inner workings of consciousness , thus his community , his society , his country , and ultimately the universal order and its originator Divinity Himself are immensely pleased by such purified actions of the sacrifice of Chanting Gods name and studying thd trancendental Srimad Bhagavatam. HIGHLIGHTED IN 1.1.2 THE CULTURE OF PURE DEVTION AS OPPOSED TO MIXED MOTIVATED OR CHEATING DECEITFUL SO CALLED DEVOTION . RSABDEVA TAUGHT NOT TO BECOME TEACHER. PARENT HUSBAND FATHER , UNLESS YOU CAN DELIVER DEPENDENTS BACK TO GÒDHEAD 3. The Srimad Bhagavatam shows the importance of the philosophy of science , the Bhagavatam itself summarises and gives accurate explanations either directly or indirectly to all known , and as yet unknown aspects of science still to be discovered by scientists , particularly in terms of the finer particals of matter and there interactions with the ethereal plane , a plane that covers a pure consciousness and plugs them into matter . Also, for example, a measurement of time , the time it takes for the sun to pass over atoms . The Bhagavatam emphasis is on mind , matter, and consciousness as the full explanation of the world that surrounds us . The Bhagavatam is seen to corroborate what objective science discovers but it also culminates in a full explanation and understanding of consciousness in its conditioned and liberated state as well as its covered state of a mind within.matter at various points in its history within space time , both relatively in local galaxies and in the much greater picture of multidimensional universes that our modern physicists speak of , such as Lisa Randall, the Harvard Prof. Much like the Bhagavatam describes. The information within the DNA along with the coding procedures consisting of a possible three billion combinations of letters within the 100 trillion cells in our bodies have origins in Divinity , and His supreme intelligence This coded information are on both sets of dna strands and possess data compression, in other words many expressions from one set of letters at different times will be enacted , causing various changes in the body , its karmic synchronicities are played out . Richard Dawkins was once asked for an example of a mutation bringing new positive information to the genome,…..he could not give one example and after a long embarrassing pause asked for the camera to be switched of . Mutations die out or are fixed automatically within the body building procedures. All this is common knowledge in scientific circles . Information means intelligence. Just think of the combinations of 1 s and 0 s in your computer. All put there by intelligence design of a human , creating codes .
THE 3RD CANTO OF THE BHAGAVATAM CHAPTER 26 INCLUDES THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES OF MATERIAL NATURE .AND THE MANY POSSIBILITIES OF QUANTUM PHYSICS IS PARALLELED AND EVEN MUCH FURTHER STUDIES BY LOOKING FOR ITS ORIGINS IN AN ETHEREAL PLANE .THE FINER ELEMENTS OF MATTER .
The Bhagavatam further elaborates and examines in details the different paths recommended in its pages , it progresses everyone’s life and ultimately points to a direct conscious relationship with the source of consciousness , the cause of all causes , bringing knowledge and understanding of all His innumerable diverse energies . Divinity , or Krishna, is known by different names , these unlimited names, along with activities, are demonstrated throughout every theological culture. Whichever path one takes, one can link to the Supreme consciousness, who is fully conscious of every being and everything in the millions of universes . He possesses fullness , and has attractive qualities which Hd exhibits both in His personal abodes and also is forever displaying His full opulence through His innumerable and unlimited energies , the energy and the energetic . The living being also exhibits qualities , but Krishna possesses unlimited Qualities to unlimited degrees.
As being currently living without direct contact of Divinity, we try to experience a happy permanent existence , problems occur outside of Divinity , and our incompleteness needs to be addressed . We must understand why limitations are imposed upon us by material nature causing our conditioning and difficulties . Although we seek this permanent happiness and fulfilling experiences , we see they come and go like winter and summer seasons. Seeking complete satisfaction in our lives and relationships is a natural deep yearning of our inner consciousness. This can be achieved according to the Bhagavatam by primarily establishing a direct relationship with Divinity, who always seeks to take us out of our individual entanglements that limit and frustrate us .We currently find ourselves within what’s referred to as the Maha Tattva or the complete material energies combined. Our body, mind, and intellect are microbe of its universal totality. The Bhagavatam paints a picture of what could be referred to as karmic synchronicity which is driven by actions within the classical physical world , supported by the many possibilities of an atomic plane , quantum physics hints at our being linked to a subtle ethereal plane that occupies our mental energy , that the universe reponds to . KNOWLEDGE OF Divinity is our way out of this web of engagement . BHAGAVATAM 3.25.25.AND 26 .SPOKEN BY KAPILADEVA SHOWS HOW BY THE ASSOCIATION OF SAINTS AND TAKING INSTRUCTIONS ONE IS PLACED ON THE PATH TO KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF A RELATIONSHIP WITH DIVINITY AND HOW DETACHMENT FROM ILLUSION TAKES PLACE
The Bhagavatam shows clearly how chasing down mere material goals such as fame , opulence and material education can become a great stumbling block to ones real interests , although if proper duties are carried out in a balanced way that leads to a full and satisfying life with progressive steps and culture of widom at its heart . There are many different types of skills and types of knowledge that one can acquire , and everyone has something to offer within the social systems that are referred to in the Vedas as Varna Ashram social structures . Everything one has , including one’s very self, can be offered in a sacrifice , in a number of ways , those directions are given in the Bhagavatam, that is immensely pleasing to Divinity , when Divinity is pleased one automatically becomes pleased .
Although modern societies teach satisfaction of our own material mind and senses is the real goal and will make us happy , or helping others do the same , and these days super liberalism is in vogue, teaching … any way the mind or senses demands it can and must be done . But the Bhagavatam disagrees and condemnes such irrational behaviour , it teaches such unbalanced materialism is a great whirlpool of degradation and entrapments , such entrapments operate ultimately under the full control of Divinity and are within the realms of the given free will , but with determinism , ie . reactions within a supreme justice system . The material world is a planned and prescribed rehabilitation centre , its a self-imposed prison , instigated by an individuals own conscious actions , and engineered by Divinity . The Bhagavatam explains how such actions within matter are connected to a universal order which are automated in macro and micro worlds, namely the great Maha Tattva , the universal form of Divinity , as well as the 100s of nano machines working in every cell coded with specific information both physical and an ethereal reactionary plane . THE 4TH CANTO CHAPTER 22 DESCRIBES THE ADVICE OF THE FOUR KUMARAS .TEXT 23 INDICATES AVOIDING OVERLY ATTACHED MONEY MEN AND AMBITIOUS MATERIALISTS ,INSTEAD ONE SHOULD TASTE THE NECTAR OF LOVE OF GOD .
6. The Srimad Bhagavatam’s goal is to explain the essence , the “param gatim,” the ultimate goal of consciousness , it is to experience pure unconditional love with God . Pure love , in its original state is experienced in ever newer ways with ever increasing qualities and can never be found in the material worlds , but a glimps of it can be seen . When one understands pure devotional service and voluntary exchanges of unmotivated selfless love, one begins the process of Bhakti yoga , the yoga of love . This ultimate plane of existence of purity of consciousness is knowingly or unknowingly sought by all beings , but under the control of the illusory energies of the material world , this original love turns to lust and all the perversions that lust brings with it , within 8,400,000 species of life .
The Srimad Bhagavatam tells us that the spiritual exchanges of love are situated beyond the limits of matter that we currently experience with our conditioned senses , it is a greater plane of knowledge than other philosophical or religious texts point to . Curiously , modern physicists refer to multidimensional space time and also accept the concept of worlds of many possibilities and existence The Bhagavatam highlights the ultimate , the souls expansion of consciousness into spiritual form who experience finer and finer spiritual emotions bringing ever increasing blissful experiences with Divinity Himself who is the master of such loving exchanges ,technically called rasa or mellows , its a playground of consciousness with perfect form in its perfected state . Its under the direct supervision of agents who serve the emaculate spiritual senses of Divinity or Krishna who is accompanied by the personification of His own pleasure potency , representative of the female aspects of Divinity , namely Srimati Radharani who along with her confidants are imbued with ever blissful spiritual rasa .
The middle portion of the 10th canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam is said to be the smiling face of Krishna, those persons who have throughly studied the previous Cantos and who have understood Krishna as the supreme personality of Godhead along with His varigatedness energies, can eventually take to spontaneous loving service in a trancendental relationship based on spontaneous pure love . 7. It is a perfectly natural position for an individual to practice devotional service and have a personal relationship experiencing life to the full in relation to Krishna, who also possesses qualities as well as emotions ,which He is eager to exchange and share with others .
An impersonal path of merging in a spiritual light or the yoga astanga path of simply being a witness of Divinity within one’s heart is not as natural for individuals , actually its the personal position and not the impersonal position that we experience in our daily lives, hence the vedas say this life is a reflection of the spiritual realm . But in that spiritual realm, there is a full display of blissful varigatedness, a full display of blissful relationships, and a full display of beauty in every respect along with an unlimited display of trancendental artistry . There are many benedictions offered by all the great teachers for those who have a set of Bhagavatams in their house for the ultimate well-being and protection for those who reside there , alongside this great literature which decends from the finest realms of consciousness . Indeed, the Bhagavatam is the book Bhagavat, and our leading acaryas are person Bhagavats, who are the personification of the Srimad Bhagavatams teachings , both purely represent Divinity.
The famous scholar of classical eastern Vedic philosophy Srila Jiva Goswami also divided the Bhagavatam into six parts .
Here is an overview.
. Jīva Gosvāmī’s Sat Sandarbhas consist of six parts, each delving into a different aspect of the Bhāgavatam philosophy.
First is the Tattva Sandarbha, which has two divisions. In the first division, Śrīla Jīva Goswami sets forth the epistemology of the personalist school. Here, he tackles such questions as: What are the means of attaining knowledge? And, what is the evidence or proof in support of those means? In the second division , he explains the object to be realized by knowledge.
In the second book, Bhagavat Sandarbha, Jīva Gosvāmī speaks about the Divinity His abode, and His associates. He demonstrates with conclusive evidence that Divinity is the complete and indivisible Absolute Reality and that all other manifestations are dependent on and thus inferior to Him.
In Paramātma Sandarbha, Śrī Jīva Goswami tells of the three manifestations of Divinity and describes how the Immanent Being is related with each individual self in the material world. Śrī Jīva Goswami also describes illusion or the external potency of God.
In Kṛṣṇa Sandarbha, he shows that the form of Kṛṣṇa is the original form of Divinity and explains why He is the object of loving devotional exchanges. Then, in the Bhakti Sandarbha, Śrī Jīva Goswami establishes the path of devotion as the sole means to direct God realization. Finally, in Prīti Sandarbha, he analyses prema-bhakti, devotional service in pure love of God, and shows how it is the supreme goal of life for all living beings.
Once the founder of ISKCON AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada said , everything is happening by the supream desire of Krishna. This consciousness is Krishna consciousness.
But he also said that one who does wrong or suffers wrong is wrong. He gave an illustration of a man going to sleep at night , within His heart God says lock up your windows and doors they may be theives , and to the theif God says within his heart , in a particular house , here is an excellent opportunity to steal .
The complexities of action and reaction are unfathomable. How can justice and injustices be simultaneously working together ? and how it could be that it would be and lead to a perfect system of fair and just legislation.
Such philosophical , religious, ethical, and rational enquiries should be contemplated and thought about carefully.
The Vedas have the answers to any questions that are posed , and it behoves everyone of us to understand them well , and not be an unbalanced and unthinking follower of any of the theological cultures .
For instance, when Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita, one who sees action in inaction and inaction in action, how is it to be understood.
One should know that Divinity wants the best of persons to represent him , and he also wants such persons’ views represented in any government administration . Their governance and compliance systems must be uncontaminated with lust ,anger greed, and bias caused by identifying with a particular race or social position .
We are not ultimately British, American, European, Latin American or African, we are all living beings in different bodies under different circumstances and we all need help , guidance and cooperation.
Fools vote in fools, we need to educate ourselves how to identify a good leader and what their qualities are. We must seek help from the real intelligensia who are properly situated in knowledge and show symptoms of wisdom , which will obviously include sympathy, i.e., someone who can not tolerate the suffering of anyone or any creature .
“The Founding Fathers of the United States articulated a vision of equality in their declaration and founding documents, but their ideals were not fully realized in their own time. While they proclaimed that “all men are created equal” and emphasized natural rights, slavery and unequal treatment of indigenous populations remained prevalent. “
Thomas Jefferson had some sentiments based on theological cultures, but it was sadly lacking in reality . The Vedic societies being vegetarian took wisdom to far greater levels of realized knowledge, every living being, a particle of consciousness is regarded with deep respect. Thou shall not kill Jesus said , and he literally meant it , to kill is to sin , kill and be killed , is the law of the universe.
Take a look at the so-called modern man , and particularly in Gazza or Africa or in slaughter houses, do people realise it’s wrong to kill . Killing takes place wholesale , there are laws of the universal order , the uneducated Darwinian or atheistic scientific materialism follower thinks there are are no universal orders . But thinking is not scientific , everything is in order and coded for life . Whenever we see order in any arrangements, and we see it in nature , perfect math in everything around us as well as DNA coded information, the intelligensia know it means intelligence, intelligence that is a law giver along with perfect justice . Your current circumstances are the evidence, but one who does wrong or suffers wrong is wrong, government should be only in the hands of the intelligentsia, then suffering decreases. In the hands of rouges, it increases .
The Pranaya of a spiritual plane is reflected to a minor degree in this material world. In real terms, Pranaya means pure unmotivated service, giving pleasure to Krishna with no thought for ones own pleasure, but by such a pure state of mind automatically one shares in the trancendental bliss of Krishna Radharani and all the residents of Vrndavana. The sharing of emotions and the happiness of others. For instance a tennis fan will go through some of the emotions of their favourite player , and if they win a tournament , especially after a long drawn out and closely matched final , such persons can burst into tears of joy as much as the player does . In Ragganatha das Goswami writings he describes the Spirtual Pranaya of Manjari bhava , the Manjaris are the most intimate servants of Srimati Radharani and are practically at one with Her emotions during her spiritual union’s and separations from Krishna , at times even their spiritual bodies share many similarities….
These types of emotions are highly elevated states of the pure soul . Even in the material world in matters of loving affairs there must be a genuine love and an experience of sharing of the partners’ emotional states whatever they are . A self-centred lust means complete selfishness with no feelings or care but for oneself. There is absolutely no comparison of the relationships of prostitutes with their customers to the committed and married couples who are loyal and chaste to each other , and ever more shall be so in life . Such a highly cultured elevated ladies , whatever their social backgrounds , are forever untouchable in so many ways, including emotionally , to the low class gross lusty man , such a person can never access or experience such beauty in relationships . Even if such a man may externally appear in high and educated social circles and give the impressions of superiority , his inner heart is one of a lusty but sophisticated animal.
I really do hope Lord Nrsingadeva steps on to the freedom flotilla, at least for a while. I very much appreciate Greta Thunberg as she rightly calls out bad leaders . Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada would often do the same…. “Rascals “he would say , the majority of them ,and the majority of the scientists “cheaters “. Greta is extremely intelligent and a real humanitarian , she puts herself on the line and stands up for what is right . May God bless that ship and all who sail in her .
If every international charity and even more locally well situated charities like BBC children in need followed the inspirational and practical actions of Greta Thunberg and her team with their own flotilla’s , that would send a message to the world “leaders ” , of course they are not . Humanity lives on in the people of the world and not in ” Democratic ” so-called leaders .. I suggest such charities immediately make such plans and do something constructive . Religious organisations can also do the same, including Jewish ones who oppose Zionism in its extreme forms.
One simple tweak to societal arrangements will cure the problems of mankind…
What is that .?
The administrative classes , the politicians, should have no direct relationships with the business classes either for funding or advice . Instead their sole advisors should be the scholarly intelligensia who are very much connected to those that understand the philosophy of science and consciousness , who are familiar with Theological cultures , those who possess the vision of seeing the true equality of all beings .. Vote in administrators , provided they are administered .
Prince William and David Attenborough are completely wasting their time addressing hypocritically based conferences addressing the state of the ocean attended by the those very political classes, and paid for by those global conglomerates , both of who are the persons and companies responsible for the state of the ocean . Deep sea mining for metals used for a computer age has already started ….we have seen nothing yet , the world has arrived at a critical moment. God has given us the real intelligensia. We must give them empowerment . Better the Prince invites Greta Thunberg to the Palace along with her activists…..but he will be forbidden to do so . http://www.thevedicspectator.com
Srila Jiva Goswami in his Bhagavat Sandarbha explains how the Svarūpa Sakti over comes Maya Sakti .
We can look at this verse..
nāma cintāmaṇiḥ kṛṣṇaś caitanya-rasa-vigrahaḥ pūrṇaḥ śuddho nitya-mukto ’bhinnatvān nāma-nāminoḥ Synonyms nāmaḥ — the holy name; cintāmaṇiḥ — transcendentally blissful giver of all spiritual benedictions; kṛṣṇaḥ — not different from Kṛṣṇa; caitanya-rasa-vigrahaḥ — the form of all transcendental mellows; pūrṇaḥ — complete; śuddhaḥ — pure, without material contamination; nitya — eternal; muktaḥ — liberated; abhinnatvāt — due to not being different; nāma — of the holy name; nāminoḥ — and of the person who has the name. Translation “ ‘The holy name of Kṛṣṇa is transcendentally blissful. It bestows all spiritual benedictions, for it is Kṛṣṇa Himself, the reservoir of all pleasure. Kṛṣṇa’s name is complete, and it is the form of all transcendental mellows. It is not a material name under any condition, and it is no less powerful than Kṛṣṇa Himself. Since Kṛṣṇa’s name is not contaminated by the material qualities, there is no question of its being involved with māyā. Kṛṣṇa’s name is always liberated and spiritual; it is never conditioned by the laws of material nature. This is because the name of Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa Himself are identical.’
When chanting the Holy names of the Lord, the result will be an attraction toward Him, resulting in a desire to hear further and further about Him . Through Sadhu sanga and Sastra sanga , who are both also directy or indirectly vibrating pure trancendental sound ones own hearing chanting and quality of smaranam increases exponentially . Thus, the Svarupa Sakti overcomes in time the wicked and wayward mind .Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has instructed everyone to Chant Gods names , associate with saints, and study the Srimad Bhagavatam and the commentaries and elaborationsGaudia Vaisnava acaryas. . http://www.www.thevedicspectator.com
The atheistic Darwinian or those that follow scientific materialism puff themselves up thinking their subjective narratives after viewing an object world are worthy to be called fact based science. Without even bothering to examine the Socio-psychological studies of the Vedas , within which the broad spectrums of the modes of nature are described and their effects on every aspect of human existence .To learn to be effective in the mode of goodness where things are seen in proper perspective rather than being viewed from a self-centred and limited way or not being viewed at all are elaborately described. From the highest mode, one becomes qualified to advance to equanimity that carries one further to Brahman consciousness, an elevated spiritual state where everyone’s consciousness is truly recognised . The beginnings of Suddha Sattva consciousness, in that consciousness the Sandini Samvit and Hladini spiritual saktis that make up the spiritual varigatedness of the abodes of Divinity are approached. Thus the atheistic persons who are keen to study scientific matters , will find no shortage of scientific studies of all kinds in the Vedas ..from consciousness to Vedic cosmology and the total make up of the universe and its purposes of being responsive to an individuals consciousness http://www.thevedicspectator.com
Lord Krishna gives His opinion on just about every worthwhile topic in His Bhagavad Gita.
Before accepting Bhagavad Gita, one should at least theoretically and initially come to the understanding that these opinions are not just educated opinions but they are ” as it is “..This is based on the scientific principle of a cause of all causes .Those who carefully study can see first hand everything that Krishna says is most definitely taking place .
Krishna runs through everything that is essential in life to know and then asks Arjuna, ” Now that you have heard everything that is the most essential of all learning , what do you want to do ?”
It’s very significant that Krishna indicates immediately that options of free will are on the table, giving credence to freedoms as well as other opinions . Opinions can be educated opinions, slightly educated opinions, guesses , or based on out and out ignorance that is planely belligerent and that ignores the obvious.
Within Bhagavad Gita Krishna also gives a structured programme of social and metaphysical progression for those who can not catch on to what He says . He also gives the reasons why they can’t do so and sets up a rehabilitation system for rectification and education.
New age philosophers teach sometimes the wrong concepts, teaching people to be strong in themselves and their opinions, but although its good to make people confident in themselves, its not always a good idea to be confidentially ignorant , or confidentially immoral or confidentially narcissistic.
The best of the philosophers and psychological thinkers all recommend reading Bhagavad Gita and applying one’s intelligence and thinking power to what Krishna says .Pick up a copy and discuss its contents with a scholar and practitioner of its teaching who accepts Krishna’s opinions and can see them functioning in everything .
The Vedas says there are three things only in our lives . 1, our karma 2, our jnana 3, our devotion towards Divinity.
Our karma is made up of our past , present and future , what Einstein refers to as space time continuum, we can borrow this term , Rupa Goswami speaks of Karmic synchronicities , its immediate effect , a soon coming effect and a long time coming effect Our jnana is made up of our intellectual musings and speculations or our academic abilities to understand the world around us and the people thereof. Our devotion is our faith in Divinity or the metaphysical planes , this kind of search and application is ever increasing , in one sense ,and is never destroyed or lost , whereas Karma and jnana is forever changing with this body and the next . It’s lost , gained, and destroyed. It is said one should increase one’s devotion exponentially , it is the most essential asset of the human form of life , it should be the priority for everyone and the karma and jnana can be neglected according to ones status . Automatically, when devotion is increasing, the other two take care of themselves. Lord Krishna in His Bhagavad Gita gives references to all these points, and AC Bhaktivedanta Swami has thoroughly discussed them in his commentary in Bhagavad Gita as it is ..
There, it is noted that as one’s devotion increases, the material aspects to karma and jnana are shed, and they become spiritualized , thus pure devotion towards Divinity takes place with no attraction for Karma and jnana. http://www.thevedicspectator.com
