GURU SADHU AND SASTRA THREE IN ONE .

“Although in crude form, we find in Gnosticism what was lacking in the centuries that followed: a belief in the efficacy of individual revelation and individual knowledge. This belief was rooted in the proud feeling of man’s affinity with the gods, subject to no human law, and so overmastering that it might even subdue the gods by the sheer power of Gnosis… In Gnosticism we see man’s unconscious psychology in full flower, almost perverse in its luxuriance; it contained the very thing that most strongly resisted the regula fidei, that Promethean and creative spirit which will bow only to the individual soul and to no collective ruling.” CARL JUNG

What is the Vedic view on the above statement by Jung .

The checks and balances of what  the Vedic systems call Guru , Sadhu, and  Sastra is a sure and steady approach to Divinity.

When these three are seen to align, then one can be sure at least a proper understanding of the methods of approaching Divinity and a correct philosophical understanding is being arrived at  .  This initial and preliminary path, if approached carefully and if its  well  practised , can bring the candidate to further and deeper understanding , especially those of the Gaudia acaryas and their  realisations , esoteric realisations , and writings , that bring entrance  into Vrndavana Dharma itself .

Depending on ones spiritual desires that are cultivated by the association of advanced practitioners, determine how one’s natural attraction to Divinity is developed or revived . So accordingly, different realisations of Divinity and relationships occur . All absolutes are reconciled in the absolute , and the mature scholars and devotees know these truths well .

The fragile position of an individual particle of consciousness that has been  overwhelmed by material energies ,  becomes vulnerable and overwhelmed by the illusory energies , but Divinity makes  perfect arrangements for  rescue . This is carried out via the Divinely inspired literatures ,  both Sruti and Smriti , the Spiritual master who has deeply entered the spiritual realms , either Diksa or Siksa  , as well as other Sadhus and saints , who assist with checks and balance.

The combination of an  individuals’ sincerity , along with spiritual teaches or Gurus as well as  an  intelligent discrimination of the very broad ranging theological texts  that serve specific purposes for different people at certain times due to  places or circumstances are required to understand Divinity.

Although  individual sincerity is important, it’s also important to realise we are not the only sincere person . Many others have traversed the path of truth and thus need to understand the symptoms of those  who are  on these  paths .  Those who are mature and perfecting  the journey also understand the essence of what theologies have to offer , along with many  peripherals paths  chalked out for the sake of humanity.

So, not alone , but with others, we understand Divinity and serve Him .

  • The brahman and its transformations and shelters

    May 30th, 2025

    Śrī Brahma-saṁhitā 5.40

    yasya prabhā prabhavato jagad-aṇḍa-koṭi-
    koṭiṣv aśeṣa-vasudhādi vibhūti-bhinnam
    tad brahma niṣkalam anantam aśeṣa-bhūtaṁ
    govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi

    Translation

I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, whose effulgence is the source of the nondifferentiated Brahman mentioned in the Upaniṣads, being differentiated from the infinity of glories of the mundane universe appears as the indivisible, infinite, limitless, truth.

The individual particle of consciousness can either be situated in the spiritual realms the effulgence of Divinity or in the material universes.

Whether one is situated in the ” divine light ” ot the material universes they are in one sense synonymous , but same time a transformational process has been inacted by Divinity.

The material universes are situated by the transformed ” divine light ” , earth ,water fire etc , as well as all the elements , are  the transformations and combined atoms containing negative and positive charges . The mysterious light frequency, as well as electromagnetic energies  of all kinds and the extraordinary energies within atoms, are little understood . The neurological energies driving mind and intelligence are of similar charges , the Vedas indicates by the above verse that God’s Divine energies can easily transform,  so although we are experiencing matter with its endless possibilities , the whole phenomena is based and situated on the Brahman.

Interesting it is , in the world of quantum physics, that the energies of consciousness and matter are interrelated , we are living as the Vedas confirms in a responsive universe.

  • Speciation and the Vedas.

    May 29th, 2025

Speciation ?  It has a universal and untraceable history going  back to time immemorial .

The Darwinions greatly limit themselves by practically turning a blind eye to the physicists and chemists , and  they overplay the importance of biology , thinking that its solely biological systems and a vaguely explained mutational process that  alone is how speciation took place . But in the great scheme of things, many many members of the scientific community today  readily accept multidimensional space time as well as cyclic universal events that are self perpetual  in ways beyond their comprehension,  accompanying these perpetual events the Vedas say , is  speciation , where something left off , it begins again and not by random and unguided processes .

With that in mind, the Vedas confirms a link between speciation and a responsive universe that is offering many many consciousness experiences . Inconceivable engineering and a self selection process is laid out within the 2nd and 3rd Cantos of the Bhagavatam.

Living beings who inhabit the various bodies within the multidimensional areas of the universe of which are contained fourteen divisions the facilities of these engineered bodies have been in existence since time immemorial and the living beings are in constant flux accepting different bodies within different the different species and universal regions. All have  been in existence since time immemorial . The Vedas indicate that according to each individual being’s mental state and  conscious actions , caused by  their interactions within matter , determine the next machine like body . All such affairs are connected to an automated process of bodily production . One could say a super subjective artificial intelligence system is operated , thus, it’s  inconceivable but also conceivable , especially in a modern Ai world.

The material energies are according to the Bhagavad Gita ,  endlessly mutable , and as such the ethereal mind  is free to wonder in uncalculable  ways , the circumstances behind every living being gives us an indication of previous wonderings and activities. Each being is  having an individual experience,  very real to them , and is  developing  and tasting some of the  unlimited variables of inner consciousness and its  experience in a particular body .  Thus , nothing is fixed in the mental ethereal planes , and accordingly  , speciation changes and adapts as the material energies award multitudes of bodies that are forever  responsive to ever changing mental  circumstances that are also fluctuating from an elevated states to more degraded states .As an engineer can automatically adapt a set designs to suit a slightly different purpose, one can say many variables or extensions or changes to the engineering of the body are always and easily possible , thus to the Darwinian we say , same engineer,  different engineering.  For instance, you can turn your garage into a first-class mini theatre or a cinema   and a wheel can be used in manh many ways . So the Vedic explanation for speciation, is  same engineer,  different engineering , along with flexibility , responding to a consciousness that continually becomes entrapped in universal cyclic cycles .

  • Prizing open the synonymous process

    May 29th, 2025

The trancendental writings of the Goswami’s  including Srila Rupa Goswami , Srila Ragganatha das Goswami, Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur ,Srila Jayadeva Goswami …Srila Prabodhananda Sarasvat Thakur are windows to the spiritual realms . In recent times Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada has given his commentary to the Srimad Bhagavatam,  the Bhagavad Gita and the Caitanya Caratamrita all of whom glorify the previous acaryas and indicate the importance of understanding their teachings . By chanting purely the Holy names without offences and by serving under the direction and guidance of Sri Guru within the mission of Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Nityananda prabhu , those  windows that are synonymous with  the pure chanting of the Holy names are  opened wide .
The exact process of prizing open the window is to develop an extremely fixed and controlled mind by the Bhakti yoga process .  The great science of self realisation and trancendental rasa has been clearly delineated by Rupa Goswami , thus , the scientific process of Krishna consciousness is clear  , i.e. how to extract a conditioned consciousness from the entanglements of the material energies and establish it within the spiritual planes and the spiritual varigatedness thereof . By a five fold trancendental meditation  process, beginning with hearing , chanting, and deep remembrance bring one in contact with the  trancendental residents of Vrndavana who are the  lovers , friends and family members of Krishna. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has given everyone access,  no previous qualifications are required.

  • Something has monkeyed with our universe.

    May 29th, 2025

Sir Fred Hoyle and monkeyed notions

Finely tuned , to say the least.

When Sir Fred Hoyle said that the universe is too finely tuned to be a cataclysmic chance event , the atoms , elements , compounds, and molecular structures require exact combinations of protons in the atomic structures , which cause the set  various elements for the construction of the universe . Our earth planet, for instance, and the structures for  physical life  requires a great deal of carbon .  Sir Fred thought  it was a mystery that this all-important element should be ” by chance ” in place by an unguided unexplained big bang .“Someone has monkeyed with our universe so the right and perfect balance of the required elements came to be  in place to support life ” he declared .

Actually, the universe is finely tuned way  beyond anyones comprehension,  never mind the physical universe . Our bodies and their make up  is one thing , but  minds and consciousness? The scientific members are absolutely clueless about .

The Vedas say our next body is already  beginning to form ,  from the subtle ethereal electricity of our minds desire as well as  activities which all fall under the jurisdictions of universal laws , as much as we are under state laws and are responsible for our actions .  These  universal energies are , according to Vedic Scientific studies,   parallel quantum physics and the work of Bohr and Schrödinger and the conclusion of the Copenhagen agreement . The universe is responding to material actions both  subtle and gross as well as  directly from the  spiritual consciousness .  In the case of a Krishna conscious person,  who, due to  the  practice of  hearing about Krishna , Radharani, and the spiritual world , are changing destiny . Srila Visvanatha Cakravati speaks of a mentally conceived spiritual body , obtained through the purification of the Holy names , a process given by Mahaprabhu . And along side deep remberance and extremely deep meditation based on the revelations of a spiritual world are  revealed by our acaryas .  Srila Rupa Goswami ,Srila Ragganath das Goswami, Jayadeva Goswami,  Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur,  to name but a few .

In fact Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur says we have two bodies,  the one we are  currently in and the one that is forming , either a  spiritual or another material body . So the universal and spiritual affairs and its reponsive possibilities that are automatically tuned to consciousness development,  are beyond our  comprehension , but perhaps our modern AI technology might hint at instant response systems . Your phone immediately understands your wants and desires,  in its built-in algorithms,  so the trancendental algorithms and the super subjective algorithms of our universal masters are at work.

Niels Bohr , Schrödinger ,Teller or  Feynman,  would  probably not deny this type of information exchanges and the reformation of the material and spiritual energy.

  • Seek, and you will find

    May 28th, 2025

    man-manā bhava mad-bhakto
    mad-yājī māṁ namaskuru
    mām evaiṣyasi yuktvaivam
    ātmānaṁ mat-parāyaṇaḥ

“Engage your mind always in thinking of Me, become My devotee, offer obeisances to Me and worship Me. Being completely absorbed in Me, surely you will come to Me.”
Bhagavad Gita . Lord Krishna .

The mind is the very means of trancendental communion with God .

Unless God presents Himeself to us how are we to think of Him ?

In love the mother always thinks of her child , or sometimes a secret lover always thinks of a lover .

One is encouraged in the Vedas to reestablish a relationship with Divinity the mind can go two ways , either in seeking Divinity and increasing our relationship with love or it is caught up in temporary illusory relationships than can be at most a reflection of the original beauty of a relationship with Divinity and His eternal associates . Ultimately, only through God’s associates can we connect with Divinity .The more we connect, the more a mind is drawn into the spiritual reality, leaving behind the temporary reflection of it

The Vedic social systems were such that the Brahminical intelligensia did not play any direct role in political affairs , their’s was a much broader remit .It was primarily based on educational matters of establishing sciences of theological cultures , philosophies of all kinds , and varieties of progressive social sciences that taught structures systematically of spiritual and social mobility that indicated to the whole of society how best to live , learn and advance their understanding of the purposes of the human experience based on its oneness and difference from Divinity.

The Vedic Culures gives great credit when love and effection is shown not only to family and friends but extended effection in those who are pure and wise is exhibited in multi cultural ways but also extends into the animal kingdom . Every partical of consciousness has great potential and deep purposes are situated in every beings heart .
However the Vedas also teach of the origins of love and effection and how temporary reflection are progressive and never lost in one sense , but still the powerhouse and the ever increasing bliss of Divinities effection should be sought .
    In scientific comparisons ..

A reflected light wave does not carry the same potency (intensity or energy) as the original light wave. The potency of the reflected light is affected by factors such as the material of the reflecting surface and the angle of incidence.

  • Understanding

    May 27th, 2025

One can point to the ocean whilst at the beachfront,  and even extract a drop of sea water , and examine one drop of it , although this enables one to understand something of the ocean , in reality , the combined oceans , all the oceans together , are the full expression of what the sum total of the ocean is , along with its complex currents and the life it  maintains  within the waters .
    Similarly .
One can point to one person , one particle of consciousness, and understand  something of consciousness,  and such a study will give clues of God . God displays His unlimited consciousness by being fully conscious of every one of his part and parcel expansions, namely the living beings .  He is simultaneously reciprocating with everyone directly . Those who understand consciousness can understand God ,those who understand dualism by studying their own consciousness can  understand something of the ” ocean ” of God’s unlimited consciousness and something of His unlimitness energies and powers .

    mayā tatam idaṁ sarvaṁ
    jagad avyakta-mūrtinā
    mat-sthāni sarva-bhūtāni
    na cāhaṁ teṣv avasthitaḥ

    Translation
By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings are in Me, but I am not in them.

Srila Sridhar Swami would say , in describing God ….…that God is everywhere but nowhere . How is this ? Because God is He who is full of opulences , He can bestow bliss upon His devotees as  the original personality of Godhead , and take care of the affairs of the material energies , in one sense they are non different to Him . However, at the same time, Krishna is the original person from whom all the other forms of Divinity expand,  and He remains in Goloka Vrndavana , the spiritual worlds , the unlimited spiritual realms. So He is inside everything and simultaneously outside .

How can those placing faith in  scientific materialism or atheistic Darwinian hypothesis understand ?

But Einstein, Bohr, Schrödinger , Feynman or Teller would very well understand.

And the Harvard Prof Lisa Randall.

The concept that Krishna is everywhere but nowhere is explored in spiritual and philosophical writings in many cultures. Particularly within the framework of  the dualistic school of Hindu philosophy , as opposed to monism . This concept, often attributed to Srila Sridhar Swami, suggests that Krishna is both all-encompassing and yet transcends any specific location or limitation.
Here’s a breakdown of the concept:
    Everywhere:
Krishna is seen as the ultimate reality, the underlying principle of the universe. As such, He is present in everything, pervading all space and time. This aligns with the idea of Brahman, the ultimate reality in Advaita Vedanta, which  considers God impersonal and to be one, indivisible, and the source of all existence.
The one and difference is discussed in the Srimad Bhagavatam…
At the same time as being all pervading , Krishna is beyond the limitations of the material world. He is not confined to any specific place, time, or form. This aspect of Divinity emphasizes His expansions of His  spiritual energies , the ultimate reality. It’s not limited by the duality of existence and non-existence, of the physical world.
    In Essence:
The “everywhere but nowhere” concept highlights the paradoxical nature of the ultimate reality. It suggests that while Krishna is present in every aspect of the universe, He also transcends it and is not bound by the limitations of the material world.
This concept is often used to illustrate the idea that the ultimate reality is not something that can be defined or localized in the same way as ordinary objects or beings. It emphasizes the transcendence of the divine and the fact that He is beyond our comprehension. “

  • In the fire …

    May 26th, 2025

The expression iron in fire was used several times by the founder of ISKCON AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and can be understood in many ways.

It’s not so easy to place an iron bar in the middle of a fire and keep it  in position amongst the energies and turbulence of a  raging inferno .

In devotional terms, the science of how the cold iron turns into fire is elaborately described by Rupa Goswami, and the process of how to initiate it is given by Prahlada Maharaja.

The graduation of heat exchanges depends on a number of circumstances, which are also clearly laid out by Srila Ragganatha das Goswami .

A very quick transformation is possible,  but the fire has to stay burning strongly, and the iron kept  firmly in the centre ground .

Someone may say iron is iron fire is fire and will doubt the whole concept.

But one would say ” touch the iron ” ……it will act like fire .

Thus, the pure spiritual personality has revived his spiritual form , by the nine fold processes  , they have undergone the process of removing all  obstacles , and are  in a  fixed position , they feel the intense  heat , and many other transformation take place within their spiritual minds  as if becomes fully embraced and absorbed in the activities of the spiritual kingdom. Such a person  is fully able to transfer the heat of  his devotional rasa that he feels into another person , faith carries one a long way , but one must know the scientific process and understand the perfection of it .

  • A scientific approach is essential . Not a stone left unturned.

    May 26th, 2025

The Vedas are so clear-cut infact every single aspect of philosophies, religions, and sciences  are covered ,  there is not a question anyone could pose that could not be answered in broad terms and not with sentimentality but with clear philosophy and sciences. Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam are two important sources, but there are many others.

Not a stone is left unturned , philosophically sound , scientifically  sound , economically and politically sound, and most importantly, every  religious and theological position is discussed and contained and considered by the Vedic tradition.

The key points of why we received a particular material body within a specific framework of imposed conditions , how they were  arrived at , who played the  supervisory role , and what are  the mechanisms operating that bring a series of causes to result in the experience we feel both physically , mentally and intellectually at this particular location in space and at this particular time .

The answer to all these questions and many  more are clearly described in the Vedas , along with the cosmology of the universe that is divided into three portions . Multidimensional spacetime as well as the multiple universe model is elaborately discussed.

    So, as Einstein said …

Religion without science is blind and science without religion is lame.

Best pick up a Bhagavad Gita, start with the relative A B Cs

  • “Knowledge” what is it How to get it …..

    May 26th, 2025

    Site Title
    Vedic ontology and epistemology .

We will give the Vedic understandings of the two .

” Ontology and epistemology are both branches of philosophy that study different aspects of reality:

OntologyThe study of being, or the nature of existence and what is real. Ontology is concerned with what exists, and what is true or real. It covers a wide range of entities, including everyday objects, living beings, and ideas.
EpistemologyThe study of knowledge, or how we can know things. Epistemology is concerned with how we can know about the existence of things and how we can separate true ideas from false ideas. It also studies theories of knowledge, such as how knowledge is derived and how reliable it is. “

    The Vedic perspective…..

The Vedas will indicate that if we want to know Divinity and undergo the epistemological proccesses, first thing is to become pure in consciousness , only the pure can understand something of the Supreme pure . The original Vedas have been summarised into short codes and aphorisms , the Srimad Bhagavatam is the natural commentary of these codes , called the Vedanta-sutra.
Within the Srimad Bhagavatam, Jiva Goswami says are all the epistemological systems of the Sruti , Smriti , Puranas, and Tantras , so everything complete .This is so because the Vedas itself are very difficult to understand in a comprehensive way , Srila Jiva Goswami says in his Tattva Sandarbha.

    ataḥ śrī-kṛṣṇa-nāmādi
    na bhaved grāhyam indriyaiḥ
    sevonmukhe hi jihvādau
    svayam eva sphuraty adaḥ

    Translation
“ ‘Therefore material senses cannot appreciate Kṛṣṇa’s holy name, form, qualities and pastimes. When a conditioned soul is awakened to Kṛṣṇa consciousness and renders service by using his tongue to chant the Lord’s holy name and taste the remnants of the Lord’s food, the tongue is purified, and one gradually comes to understand who Kṛṣṇa really is .

    More .
    Regarding ontological considerations.

Athato brahma jijnasa is a phrase from the Vedanta-sutra that means “Now is the time to inquire about the Absolute Trut

jīvera ‘svarūpa’ haya — kṛṣṇera ‘nitya-dāsa’
    kṛṣṇera ‘taṭasthā-śakti’

    bhedābheda-prakāśa

    Translation
“It is the living entity’s constitutional position to be an eternal servant of Kṛṣṇa because he is the marginal energy of Kṛṣṇa and a manifestation simultaneously one with and different from the Lord, like a molecular particle of sunshine or fire. Kṛṣṇa has three varieties of energy.

The ultimate understanding of who we are is given by Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu in His saying we are inconceivably and simultaneous one and different from God .

This understanding separates Sankacarya and his oneness philosophy from Madhva Acarya, Ramanuja Acarya , Srila Visnu Swami , and Nimbarka Acarya , who respectively taught , purified monism , ( a connection with Divinity) specific monism , ( as a servant of Divinity in varying ways ) pure monism ( indicating a oneness in love ) and one and difference.

Caitanya Mahāprabhu added the inconceivable and simultaneous oneness and difference in His revealing the pranaya , oneness in love , particularly of the Manjaris , technically called Tad tad bhava icha atmika .

Thus, the Vedas lack nothing in the matter of epistemology or ontology and their conclusion
