Unless one understands the conclusions of Bhagavad Gita, which is “Man mana bhava mad bhakto “
“Think of me and  become my devotee.” These  are the words of Krishna , one may be missing the essential messages He intends to give .

How to think of Krishna ? Being absorbed in the topmost levels of pure love in deep meditations  have been demonstrated by Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu in his absorption of the mood of Srimati Radharani , the damsels of Vraj and their young assistants the Manjaris. This confidential  truth of the life that Mahāprabhu lived and  experienced was taught by Him to  the Goswamis of Vrndavana   headed by Srila Rupa Ragganatha . Krishna says in His  Bhagavad Gita, ” Think of Me become My devotee” and Mahaprabhu by His practical example shows how .  Mahaprabhu’s followers headed by Srila Rupa Ragganatha have recorded and delineated everything in their writings . One may miss out on the essence of Mahaprabhu’s ’ purposes for appearing and get caught up in the  many peripheral aspects of a progressive path of spiritual life , Krishna also in His Bhagavad Gita chalked out many paths before coming to the essence. Likewise, Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu  recognised in his conversation with Ramananda Roy these somewhat progressive paths … but kept saying ” This is good, but is there more “or ” that is also good, but is there more”

Everything of this conversation is in the Caitanya Caratamrita and Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada has translated it to English along with explanations to all the peripherals and a thorough explanation to the essence of Bhakti yoga is given , that he learned from his teacher Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja.

It is a miscalculation to place an over emphasis on Guru alone , Sastra alone or Sadhu’s alone .

Thus the Gaudia Vaisnava’s have emphasised the three in one .
This is so for purposes .

Once I submitted an important document to a group of persons working on a particular project, one person became disturbed I had done so , saying ” I know that document well and have studied it , if that group wants to know anything about it they can ask me “
But …how do we know such a person has understood and interpreted the documents correctly?

Thus check and balance is spiritual life ..
When Guru , other recognised historical or current saints. And the scriptures line up ….we have the essence of the Vedas ..

Prabhupada said also , ” You have to fly your own kite,” meaning take responsibilities , utilising the Vedic systems .

Judging by the current state of world affairs , its clear the economist’s have failed the people they are supposed to serve. The global model is an exploitative contrivance that promises much and delivers little except wars and poverty , and based on the principles of divide and rule .
The Vedic systems of economics are based on a much more simple and localised approach . It always works in harmony with nature and all who live . The provision of good healthy food and shelter for every type of person ,along with an expectation of everyone to properly carry out their duties alloted by nature are all in the mix of the Vedic economics.
Time for a rethink of world economics and the real values of life alongside nature and respect for it and all who live within it .

One one level, the simple economics of people owning and taking care of cows provides essential nutrition, and of course, the bulls work the land or provide transport.

We are currently looking for foundations that will fund a feasibility study on how teams of bulls pulling specially adapted turbines can compete easily and probably do better than wind turbines that are expensive and of  course really on winds and battery storage.

Lithium and heavy metal wars ..

Nevertheless we need it ..

So let’s fight for it …and kill for it ..

The highly technology world driven by failed economists and leaders with no understanding of the real values of life are taking all the lemmings of the cliff .

A loving parent gives a child a name, and the child accepts the name . Indeed, when we speak of the child , the child comes into our mind, and we remember the child and the child’s activities.

God Himself also has activities and such activities inspire His devotees to give Him names , because they are names given by knowledgeable devotees and primarily , because they are given in love by the devotees,  the Lord happily accepts those  names , they become non different from Him . God is absolute and has no beginning or end , His activities and names are also absolute . In the material world, an action has a beginning, a middle, and an end . In fact, everything in the material world  is created, maintained, and destroyed.

But God’s activities are eternally manifest , they are never destroyed, and thus, when God’s devotees meditate on any of His activities, they enter into those activities and relish with their spiritually conceived pure minds and spiritual forms and they  partake in services for the pleasure of the Lord . Thus, they associate with Krishna and enter into those eternally manifest pastimes.

Meditations on a spiritual plane are carried out not with material energies but rather  surcharged spiritual senses that gain entrance into  eternally manifest pastimes of Radha Krishna or any of Their expansions , where  They are always situated with Their associates.

The following verse epitomises the Sri Harinama sankirtana movement instigated by Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Lord Nityananda, which AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada brought to the world , beginning in 1965 in USA.

Bhagavad Gita 2.59

visaya vinivartante
niraharasya dehinah
rasa-varjam raso ‘py asya
param drstva nivartate

TRANSLATION

The embodied soul may be restricted from sense enjoyment, though the taste for sense objects remains. But, ceasing such engagements by experiencing a higher taste, he is fixed in consciousness.

When we call out Gaura and  Nityananda’s  names .

We are also in a trancendental sence addressing Srimati Radharani , Lord Krishna, and Lord  Balarama . Lord Balarama expanding as Maha Sankarsan and Mula Sankarsan expands all the living beings , eternally He is  serving Krishna in His  incalculable and inconceivable capacities . He is extremely compasionate upon the living beings and when Balarama comes in the form of  Nityananda prabhu His  magnanimity is greatly expanded under the order of Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu , who is tasting the most glorious love of Srimati Radharani , the supreme Goddess of fortune. Srimati Radharani’s kindness and compasionate nature knows no end , and Mahaprabhu orders Nityananda prabhu to distribute Her kindness and sweetness far and wide .

In this age of degradation,  quarrel and hypocrisy , our  consciousness has become so degraded  that  practically speaking pious behaviour and good hearts are rarely seen . Nevertheless, immediately, even the most unqualified  and degraded person can be at once  delivered from the depths of degradation and taste some of  the trancendental thrills of the spiritual world and discover something of their spiritual form .

By the mercy and kindness of Srimati Radharani ,  Lord Krishna, and Lord Balarama and Their devotees, the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra  is reverberating  throughout the world and has surcharged the world with auspiciousness . The energies of the world are gradually changing , innocent people’s intelligence is awakening, and they are  beginning to see clearly fake leaders who only bring miserable conditions. As intelligence develops, such newly invigorated souls are leaving behind lifetimes of previous conditioning and the  false promises of permanent happiness in matter .

Ultimately, what is being distributed by Caitanya Mahāprabhu is  love of God . It’s  the greatest exhibition of magnanimity , the greatest  display of magnanimity as the highest of spiritual bliss is handed  to the lowest and most degraded person’s. Srila Gour Govinda Swami would say , “You can not surrender artificially to Krishna, it’s a surrender based on pure love .” Mahaprabhu is tasting the Love Radharani feels for Krishna and is  distributing it to one and all through the chanting of Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

Madhurya means sweet,  and everything and everyone is sweet in Vrndavana. Everyone’s beautiful hearts are overflowing with blissful , ever new, and  enthusiastic love for each other and Krishna . These extraordinary pastimes of the  spiritual planes in VRNDAVANA are  played out in sometimes unusual and contradictory ways …..In the absolute spiritual plane of Vrndavana the highest of spiritual abodes , all formality is left behind.  Lying is all good , cheating is all good , deceiving is all good , even when Krishna kills demons that come to disturb his ” earthbound ” lila pastimes  become blessed as well as  liberated from all their miseries caused by being confined to the material world .

In the esoteric realms of Vraj  exclusive devotion and services to Srimati Radharani are the supreme goal of the Gaudia Vaisnavas .  Services to Her confidential companions are considered even more relishable , one can understand Radha Krishna through services to their companions’ understanding of Radha Krishna. However,  it’s not just Radharani who is served . According to the relationship the devotees have with Krishna  , one closest associate will be  determined. Lord Balarama and  His friends ,  Mother Yasodha and her friends , even  services to the creatures and trees and the very soil of Vrndavana brings one immediately in contact with Krishna in unique and particular ways .

Each of these relationships brings immense  joy to Krishna . Of course, Srimati Radharani, the Supreme Goddess of Fortune,  ultimately conducts  Vrndavana’s services to Her Krishna, and all are dependent on Her . She directly and indirectly conducts everything of the affairs of Vrndavana, but she in Her great humility remains dependent on everyone..

After arguing with Krishna Radharani, says to her friends ” it’s only by your blessings and good wishes that Krishna will accept me back again into His life  “

Wild horses,  the unthinking, and the unintelligent

Karl Marx said religion suppressed people and thought he knew better . A  path to freedom from conformity and authority ,  Karl thought , was intellectually , mentally, and physically highly appropriate and would bring great happiness . Why did he then and  many others today,  think  it is  appropriate to treat life in that way , life should not be a guessing game of following a speculative intellect. We have experience that a child needs  the authority of the loving parent . A parent who has the appropriate experience and widom to nourish and guide the child .  Obviously, conformity is the best course of action for the child . In bringing a child  education and development of character both for the child , there is a balance to be struck between suppressing a child’s inner  nature and  insisting and imposing certain standards designed to bring out a child’s nature in healthy  beneficial ways .

In reality   Marx   proudly sought to control people and  bind them to his way of thinking , but who is his authority ? We can ask ourselves what knowledge he has ? Before accepting any authority, we must know who their authority  is . If we find  their speculative minds  have cobbled up a philosophy in life , taken from other similarly minded speculative persons with world or scientific views  , why would we want to put our faith in such speculative subjectivity . We must be very, very careful , not to place our faith in persons who are not worthy.  Everything  someone says or does needs our thoughtful considerations . One should consider how they know they know , and how do they know they know . It’s important in Vedic culture that the principal of  knowledge decending rather than only ascending should be examined .Conservative values stem from  traditional cultures and ultimately from scientific theological cultures,  those that evaluate mind , matter and consciousness,  all three should be objectively studied and clearly understood.

Generally, people are driven by their temporary material senses and minds and are reliant on a limited faltering intelligence and an accepting and rejecting mind , that out of control.

Like five wild horses, without guidance and supervision a  chariot they are pulling will be headed for disaster. The  horses are like our senses and the reign of the mind must bring them under control. That means the driver , the intelligence, needs to be selective of direction .An uncontrolled  mind with no real intelligence can  drag people into many  unwanted situations and world veiws .

The  intelligence is recommended in every theological science to be always in  contact with his eternal passenger . The Supersoul or the Holy Ghost . Such theological intuitive searchings  generate much inner inspiration . This decending process is criticality important for truth to become known . However, conformation is needed from those who historically have walked on the path , Divinity has pure  representations, who know Him well, and they must be recognised.  The Vedas indicates contact within the super subjective realm should be sought and identified . As a student, seeks a proven expert in any particular field of material knowledge.

Today, globalists , politicians, and scientists control the people  and in the name of freedoms , bind the people in temporary illusions and  uncontrolled hankering.  Why , because it suits a particular economic plan that favours the exploitative business man . Economic development has superceded common sense.   In reality, they, along with their enabelers, get the unthinking to follow the unintelligent and equally unthinking . They have no long-term vision , and profit at any cost is their motto .

Consequently,  the horses of everyone’s senses and minds  are completely out of control, and the world is becoming increasingly unstable with widespread suffering worldwide that is  getting worse.

We must seek the super subjective realm and bring sanity back to everyone’s lives   helping others do the same .We must all  seek out the real intelligentsia .

The whole of the Bhagavad Gita gives us clear indications of who they are .We must accept the rational and logical part of our consciousness, and except God has rationale, and thus, communication between Him and His parts and parcels is always  ongoing , seek truth and it will be found .

Covered , shrunken , budding , blooming, fully blossoming

Unlike the Darwinians who consider consciousness as chance events of neurons firing in the brain originating from a primordial slime , the  Vedas take an analytical look at consciousness within matter and  clearly demonstrate  consciousness being different  from  the gross and subtle influences that matter imposes upon it . The Vedas shows the path of  freedom  from the shackles of material existence and all its accompanying misery , birth , death , old age , disease,  misery arising from the mind , other living beings or nature itself.

Bohr , Schrödinger , Feynman , Teller, and Einstein also as physicists  examined consciouseness within the  responsive universe,one can say the Copenhagen agreement suggests that.  Unlike the gross biologists , the physicists look  at life’s  fundermentals in entirely different ways .

The Vedic terms for states of consciousness are ….ana maya, pranna maya , jnana maya , vijnana maya, and ananda maya .

In English terms, these can be compared to a flower throughout its life , first covered consciousness,  then shrunken consciousness, then budding consciousness, then blossoming consciousness, then fully blooming consciousness.

The animals and other various creatures are  categorised ,  they are considered to have covered consciousness, anu maya , and   the unthinking human who is living like a sophisticated animal without any philosophical position is in shrunken consciousness , pranna maya . The human who considers life and its purpose correctly in terms of having a philosophical outlook are considered to be in budding consciousness , jnana maya . The human who has realised to. some degree of the glory of consciousness in connections to Divinity is in blossoming consciousness , vijnana maya .  Finally, the human who has established a relationship in love with God is in fully blossoming consciousness. Ananda maya .

So literally, the science of consciousness and self realisation has been summarised, and each of these categories is  given a thorough analysis, and  progressive and systematic steps are given by various Vedic thinkers and teachers . Those steps are recommended according to specific stages of life , to suit . This enables and empowers everyone in their consciousness ,  thus step by step guidance . One should seek an expert who is in Ananda maya consciousness to help , or any person who is further progressed than ourselves will help by association.

Srila Jiva Goswami, one of the greatest Vedic scholars, said ..”we are trying to bring perfection to imperfection..”

Ultimately, you could say atoms elements and compounds are an offering made by the material energies, they are so made by Divinity,  and reluctantly given by Him , reluctant ,  because the the living beings are attempting to bring  a perfection in their lives , but in an atmosphere that is not suitable , because atoms , elements and compounds can never satisfy our inner consciousnesss needs .What is that need , blissful, happy lives , and relationships that are increasingly rewarding , youthful or child like enthusiasm can be seen everywhere. It’s a kind of reflection of perfection . Ultimately, every theologically driven culture warns of the original pure consciousness  entanglements  in the material world,  and they provide analysis of the problems and offer solutions.  Entanglements in karmic activities and cyclic synchronicities can be very difficult to shift . Jiva Goswami indicates this in his Bhagavat Sandarbha….
The living beings conditioned concept of becoming an enjoyer of a substance that is ultimately alien to him is like the will of the wisp , AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada  said . Those fast moving atoms, elements and compounds and  particular subtle mind with given intellect are awarded within a  stipulated space and stipulated time to the  individual consciousness particle ,but they can not stay .The atoms are vibrating and producing  forms that appear as permanent reality , with a varigatedness that is indeed full of wonder , and no wonder , this is a reflection of a spiritual reality but here the essence of the pure heart is missing.

The main problem of the atheistic person is they try to understand God with the reference point of their own limited bodies, mind and intellect.
In reality they cannot even understand how one blade of grass grows in real terms , if we ask them to create a blade in their laboratory they are lost .
Because the intellect and energies of someone or some aspect of nature is not fully conceivable to ourselves , still we see the evidence of it ..
What is the difficulty?
In his Bhagavat Sandarbha Jiva Goswami explains the energies and multifarious forms of Divinity..
It’s also explained how such forms and which particular forms appear before a particular devotee according to the relationship they have with the Lord …

Bhagavatam 10.64.26 .

“O almighty one, how is it that my eyes see You here before me? You are the Supreme Soul, whom the greatest masters of mystic yoga can meditate upon within their pure hearts only by employing the spiritual eye of the Vedas. Then how, O transcendental Lord, are You directly visible to me, since my intelligence has been blinded by the severe tribulations of material life? Only one who has finished his material entanglement in this world should be able to see You

Mahaprabhu the perfect teacher .

In spiritual life, we must always follow the perfect examples . Many holy teachers can be given as excellent examples to follow . In the Srimad Bhagavatam, one can  particularly hear of those examples  and the of the  devotees’ who executed them.

This verse can be studied in details.

śravaṇaṁ kīrtanaṁ viṣṇoḥ

smaraṇaṁ pāda-sevanam

arcanaṁ vandanaṁ dāsyaṁ

sakhyam ātma-nivedanam

Hearing and chanting about the transcendental holy name, form, qualities, paraphernalia and pastimes of Lord Viṣṇu, remembering them, serving the lotus feet of the Lord, offering the Lord respectful worship with sixteen types of paraphernalia, offering prayers to the Lord, becoming His servant, considering the Lord one’s best friend, and surrendering everything unto Him (in other words, serving Him with the body, mind and words)—these nine processes are accepted as pure devotional service

Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has given us a demonstration in His life and pastimes of how in this age these important processes are carried out simply and practically , He perfectly carried out all of them personally,  thus He is the perfect teacher who teaches by example.

The following verse indicates He is the perfect teacher , and Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur indicates Mahaprabhu is the perfect Guru .

vairāgya-vidyā-nija-bhakti-yoga-
śikṣārtham ekaḥ puruṣaḥ purāṇaḥ
śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya-śarīra-dhārī
kṛpāmbudhir yas tam ahaṁ prapadye

Translation

“Let me take shelter of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who has descended in the form of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu to teach us real knowledge, His devotional service and detachment from whatever does not foster Kṛṣṇa consciousness. He has descended because He is an ocean of transcendental mercy. Let me surrender unto His lotus feet.

AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada would indicate any of the nine processes if perfected can carry one to the spiritual worlds , so a very broad sweeping approach to those who practice spiritual life can be adopted and during the natural development of spiritual life and as we get older some of those proccess may be more prominent.

Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja was the founder of a large institution but would spend much time alone in writing and deep meditation.
