Creating a family with  spiritual values ..

His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada has made an attempt to use the educational systems of the Vedas and create a  world  free from the  ignorance of scientific materialism and all that brings In his forming ISKCON, the Vedas is brought to light , the idea is that  everyone can live in a harmonized atmospher where differences are respected and facilities that everyone needs , including the creatures of the earth ,can be easily obtained . This vision is based on the Srimad Bhagavatam,  Bhagavad Gita, as well as the eighteen puranas that bring a natural and  systematic education through its various cultures.  This also naturally allows for all  the specific needs of a ” multicultural ” society , where differences can be lived out in harmony.

Some people may openly criticize ISKCON, or Gaudia Vaisnava societies  , and immature thinkers probably dont understand the significance of their work and their long-term vision. When initially creating  structures naturally also problems can be created  that’s to be expected especially in young families.  Every family has to face problems and learn to deal with them and learn from them .  Critical Vaisnava thinking , management, and governance, along with compliance, are  essential in any family unit.  Obviously, so in a huge ISKCON family . Within every decent family, frank discussions are sometimes needed to advance understanding and bring new  improvements .

We can naturally understand that in creating the great  worldwide family of ISKCON for instance,  in such  unprecedented ways , and with such  unprecedented preaching  that goes on  all over the world , the ongoing management of the  risks of  such a   ginormous family will remain with us . Good governance means to  always address issues in the best possible ways . Every  large organisation is constantly having to do . Social problems are certainly not unique to ISKCON or any Gaudia Vaisnava group . However, bringing the greatest benefits of the knowledge of Krishna consciousness  to the world  is a  matter of urgency .

Traditional ashrams  or religious cultures , generally have  women and men within their own settings .The Nuns and Monks live separately all over the world . Family life was  absent, and interactions with society were limited.

In creating ISKCON Srila AC, Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada had the vision that the whole world should be  given the opportunity to practice Krishna consciousness    every varna and every ashram included ,  in  so doing ,  ISKCON and Prabhupada have successfully brought Krishna consciousness opportunities to one and all in very practical ways.

If Prabhupada had created traditional Ashram systems , many aspects of society would not have been included in the cultivation of Krishna consciousness . Currently, it’s witnessed that ISKCON is successful and is fast  permeating everywhere in the world. Its influences are growing in all of the  varnas and ashrams.

Earlier days  in ISKCON were very blissful and revolutionary  but particularly difficult in many respects . Young inexperienced leaders had a lot of responsibilities , and many couldn’t manage well

  Consequences of failure can be problematic . There is no excuse for irresponsible and harmful behaviour,  but we can not assume the utopian dream that all is rosey as soon as someone walks into an Ashram . Risks were there, and we now manage them a lot better , as do all  religious institutions as well as other types of institutions.

Certainly, Prabhupada, through his preaching method, has opened up the whole world , every single aspect of society can now access  a Krishna consciousness experience, and the success of  his mission is astounding.

Absolute truth is a decending process , its also the opinions of Divinity Himself….if one can objectively see in this material world absolute truth manifested clearly in one form or another , and truth manifests itself in numerous ways , it means honesty has come about in someone , and such persons are worthy of association..

Energies are always transformed and never lost .

“Is a concise way to express the law of conservation of energy. This fundamental law of physics states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only converted from one form to another. While energy transformations often result in energy becoming less useful (e.g., heat dissipating into the surroundings), the total amount of energy in a closed system remains constant. .”

Likewise the Vedas says that in visiting the peaceful graveyards, one should understand not only the material energies are transformed and never lost but also mental energies, intellectual energies, and ultimately, the consciousare never lost .Lord Krishna says in His Bhagavad Gita , ” Never has there been a time you didn’t exist nor in the future will you cease to be “
Scientific materialism and Darwinian hypothesis is just plane wrong and unscientific.

Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says .

brahma-bhūtaḥ prasannātmā
na śocati na kāṅkṣati
samaḥ sarveṣu bhūteṣu
mad-bhaktiṁ labhate parām

Translation
One who is thus transcendentally situated at once realizes the Supreme Brahman and becomes fully joyful. He never laments or desires to have anything. He is equally disposed toward every living entity. In that state he attains pure devotional service unto Me.

On a scientific note, and utilising the work of the great scientists as well as the greatest of philosophers, one could think of persons in the world like this ..
What a wonderful combination of atoms , elements , and compounds arranged in wonderfully varied ways with each particular parcel of consciousness enwrapped according to particular karmic algorithmic synchronicities caused by their choices of acting within the responsive universe .
The oneness of God’s energies acting in multifarious ways is fully described in the Vedas .
When one fully understands the reality of this life , such a person qualify themselves to understand the past lives along with the present and future lives . Most importantly, they begin to get insights into existences without atoms, elements, and compounds . Where repetitions of births and deaths are absent .

With the extensive preaching efforts of the International Society for Krishna consciousness and other Gaudia Vaisnava’s inevitably, societies are changing.
Initially the out and out fruitive workers and the ungodly are taken to the position of beginners , Kanistha devotees , and as they progress inevitably some become advanced and become Madhyama devotees and out of the Madhyama some will become advanced Uttama Bhaktas.
Things can only get better in terms of the sincere followers of Gaudia Vaisnavism . No doubt, as well, such as Gaudia Vaisnava teachings are having effects, and the transition of world consciousness is beginning.
At first little effect , like the Kanistha, then later more significantly effecting , like the Madhyama, and eventually, as Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur indicates the work of the Uttama consciousness infiltrates science, religion , philosopher, social sciences and the political realms .

Whilst it seems impossible to comprehend that each snowflake could exhibit such unique appearance,  it’s equally incomprehensible that each particle of consciousness , a living being  , are feeling and undergoing a unique emotional and sensual experience in their own right. even when in very similar  circumstances . No individual feels and experiences in exactly the same way , and that goes for every creature throughout the universe . “Think of a huge shoal of fish in the Caribbean.”

The power and unlimited potencies of God are on display in innumerable ways and can be seen easily exhibited ,  or , for some, not exhibited at all .That’s another side of Krishna’s innumerable and incalculable energies . Those  energies can  enlighten or  cause confusion and doubt .

Ultimately, every individual has an individual relationship with the Supreme Autocrat Krishna , Krishna is very, very personable and is awaiting us to uniquely turn our attention to him .

“Quantum mechanics doesn’t directly describe endless possibilities in the sense of having an infinite number of definite outcomes. Instead, it describes possibilities as probabilities. It predicts the probability of different outcomes for quantum events, not a definitive “this will happen”. .

The Vedic followers understand free will and changes to a free will by association .
So ones particular actions are already being calculated in the responsive universe, probability is a strong factor because the modes of nature are so strong , one is forced to act according to the modes one has acquired , says Krishna in His Bhagavad Gita.
But there are always the possibilities of a change in probability . Thus, the responsive universe . In quantam physics, because of the responsive element , it’s a world where things can never be measured exactly like the classical math of this world .Free will means just that .
And by association and circumstances what you might have done, you don’t do .and probability turns into other possibilities.

Protestant , Catholic , Suni , Shiiat , Zionist , Rabbi , Smarta Brahmana , of a cast system , or a brahmana by  quality .

Every one of these categories of persons attempts to  understand properly theologies and can all be properly thought of in context.

Not all men  or women are at the stage of desiring exclusively  pure devotional service to the Lord , mixed devotion is in the mix, and progressive practice is within them all .

Some may have devotional attitudes mixed with many other motives like political or material perfection for personal benefits. These  are naturally reflected in the religious minded societies  but should be recognised for what they are by the scholars of each tradition. The highest and lowest of standard must be made clear , otherwise, the lowest will pass as the highest,  that’s called cheating religion .

Birds of feathers flock together. The Vedas , being extremely broad, can  incorporate all  motivated persons as well as pure persons , and they put  them into  four categories and bring relative connections between them all .

The categories are Karma yogis  …jnana yogis  …astanga yogis  and pure Bhakti Yogis ..

Each of those four categories have various followings, but also many subdivisions that are based on and according to  progress in disciplines . This is according to how an individual can transition to  spiritual understanding of greater levels . The ultimate goal is pure dedication and devotion towards Divinity.

In Vedic Culures, the  pure “person Bhagavat”, is the  personification of the ancient Srimad  Bhagavatam . Such a person is in a Gaudia Vaisnava disciplic succession . They are  extremely well versed in the Vedas and take into account time place and circumstances when it comes to application of the Bhāgavatam . They will be able to give a thorough analysis of all  topics within the Vedas  and relate them to contemporary times .

Krishna says in 7th chapter of Bhagavad Gita..

TEXT 16: O best among the Bhāratas, four kinds of pious men begin to render devotional service unto Me – the distressed, the desirer of wealth, the inquisitive, and he who is searching for knowledge of the Absolute.

TEXT 17: Of these, the one who is in full knowledge and who is always engaged in pure devotional service is the best. For I am very dear to him, and he is dear to Me.

TEXT 18: All these devotees are undoubtedly magnanimous souls, but he who is situated in knowledge of Me I consider to be just like My own self. Being engaged in My transcendental service, he is sure to attain Me, the highest and most perfect goal

.TEXT 19: After many births and deaths, he who is actually in knowledge surrenders unto Me, knowing Me to be the cause of all causes and all that is. Such a great soul is very rare.

TEXT 20: Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.

It’s absolutely vital to find a pure representative of God in order to advance fully in spiritual life  who  can correctly guide people’s claims of purity ….there are many who pose as devotees who are actually demons or  with mixed  personal motives .

Thus, checks and balances are in place in Vedic Culures.  True Gurus , true  saints,  and theological texts always align.

The pure teachers, both of a past and the present , along with the scriptures consisting of  both the  Sruti and Smriti, are essential to help us  avoid those that will do us harm.

This is what Krishna tells us in Bhagavad Gita.

Chapter 16, Verse 13-15

The demoniac person thinks: So much wealth do I have today, and I will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it will increase in the future, more and more. He is my enemy, and I have killed him; and my other enemy will also be killed. I am the lord of everything, I am the enjoyer, I am perfect, powerful and happy. I am the richest man, surrounded by aristocratic relatives. There is none so powerful and happy as I am. I shall perform sacrifices, I shall give some charity, and thus I shall rejoice. In this way, such persons are deluded by ignorance.

World veiw – Vedic veiw  The cheaters and the cheated ? Or something objective and honest ?

What is your worldview, and  just  how was it formed and  who has helped shape it ? Generally, of course  you’re going to find many influences that make up your consciousness outlook , and the Vedas tell us , it’s not solely dependent on this one life .  The contribution of family , friends,  an educational system, your philosophical learning ,your  theological pursuits , and  the arts of all description will also shape your world veiw   .One should ask oneself whether  the teachers and various other influences that  shaped your world veiw  have been beneficial , and what kinds of impressions  have they left,  has  everything been presented objectively or with subjective bias , many deceptive people live in our world so its healthy to take a step back and take  a fresh look at sciences of all kinds  as well as philisophical thinking and theologies. Political matters should not take the major portion of our time .

Many educated people think they have been trained in objective critical thinking   for instance , but often, in reality, they look at the world and sciences through the prison house  of  subjective conditioning , taught to them by other subjective teachers , who are highly speculative.  Science, for instance,  should always be presented in  objective ways and can never be presented as fact based when, in reality, it’s subjective opinions . Scientific materialism and Darwinian world veiws dominant the world  , but they are based on guessing and the evidence of the origins of consciousness lay elsewhere.

When it comes to matters of philosophies, traditions , liberalism , or conservatism , plus  family values , we should know liberal democracies  consist of many, many unqualified persons supposedly making better policy .  Whereas the  benefits   of one good, strong autocratic leader working with his chosen team ,who are all truely dedicated to all of society and who objectively make calculations based on science and consciousness will result in a completely different priorities,  the world view of scientific materialism and the Darwinians or one who knows consciousness in a different way .

Freedoms and choices are important, and the world veiw of the truely intelligent utalise such Freedoms.

Fortunately , a previously untapped source is currently available and that resource is increasingly available and increasing in volume , day by day , the Vedas .

AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada started a revolution in altenative thinking , he began to present the Vedas , it touches on every topic , and brings a new and balanced perspective on all relevant matters that concern societies in these troubled times .

No longer a society exclusively conducted by the cheaters, and  everyone being  cheated , now everyone can see for themselves.
