Theological positions and access to Divinity directly or indirectly..

Throughout theological history,  there’s always been a debate and different extreme positions taken in regards to who can  access a  direct relationship with Divinity and even if it’s at all possible .

In the teachings of the Vedas, this example is given , that  a turtle  swimming in the ocean,  pops its head up for a breath of  air , by chance at that  place where the turtle surfaces a log  is floating in the ocean , which   has hole in it , the turtles head pops directly into that  hole  , such a rare chance event can be compared to the  rarity of the appearance in this world of the  top most pure representatives of Divinity .

The great Vedic teacher Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur,  says that Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu , who is considered to be Krishna Himself  , is teaching by example, and is the perfect Guru in that sense , Bhaktivinod Thakur also says His direct disciples , Srila Rupa Goswami and Ragganathha das and the other  four prominent Goswamis   of Vrndavana spoken of by Gaudia Vaisnavas , should all  be regarded as our own personal Siksa Gurus , he also says finding topmost Guru is rare , but Mahaprabhu has come to act as perfect Guru , and taught the prominent Devotees particularly Rupa Ragganatha,  thus we can take it , that space time , does not get in the way of Divine connections , and full realisation   of Mahaprabhu’s teaching are fully accessible via Mahaprabhu’s  devotees.

The Catholic and Protestants , fight over the direct relationship with Divinity issue , as do the Muslim faith , they also fight over who is the pure representatives ,  family lines from original teachers or non family lines , from those who have heard and assimilated the wisdom.

Fortunately the Vedas give as the answers,  The  Guru,  Sadhu Sastra truth ,  are three in one , that also means that each is an authority,  but each can be checked against each other .

The other aspects of Spiritual teachers are also clear , Guru comes in many forms , and of different calibers , and each connection is valuable at a given time , but Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami says , you should also follow your heart , and its  also imperative to take training and render  strict services  or deeply respect  all our Gurus who are  present, once that humility has been perfected , the whole of the  param para through their litratures come alive , as does the spiritual world and the residents thereof.

So we can never bypass genuine saints or neglect to honour them . By that process, all the saints become accessible and they direct us to Srimati Radharani and Lord Krishna and Their family and associates. One Diksa Guru is generally accepted , but one can have many Siksa Gurus .

From a Vedic perspective, one might not see any benefits of our modern world with what’s clearly   witnessed as increased materialism and exploitation , with wealth for the very few and poverty for the rest internationally.

Initially, the industrial revolution was hailed as a great wonder for mankind , it made claims of alleviating poverty and civilising mankind who were engrossed in nature living lives not much more  further progressed than the proverbial Darwinian caveman . It has  progressed to the  current technological ages of fast internet communication , perhaps some good can be seen hadn’t it been tainted with original exploitative motives and methods at its heart and   greed stoking conflicts,  it appears to have no real sharing concepts .

Instead of sharing in the technological innovations that could well  bring  benefits to everyone and every country of the world , its instead hampered by fake leaders with little sense of decency and a business model of  ” intoxicated greed ” . There is no  foresight or  even a wish  to carefully balance the needs of man , all creatures, and the environments we all need for healthy good living for all beings . Thus, the whole vision  has gotten of hand and is heading for disaster, and no one knows how to stop it .

Actually, there are great benefits to be had of  of opening up the world where cultures are shared, and comparisons can be seen in every aspect of those  education systems and cultures . Many persons currently are being fooled  and exploited by a so-called intelligensia , while the real intelligensia are silenced . Sharing cultures can be highly beneficial. For instance,  the perverted caste systems in India  or the class systems of the English empire are now clearly seen to be bias, after all you are what you are , not which family you are born into . Mass education has helped everyone and should be in place for everyone, which promotes naturally social mobility.

So , there are benefits and downfalls of modern living , but  the two can be harmonized with a balanced and fair approach .That is easily achieved when the genuine and sensitive intelligentsia direct everything . The original purpose of the Vedas is clear ,  matters of scientific studies , sociology , balanced economics , justice,  philosophical and religious progression are essential and should always be ongoing and progressive and systematically taught .

Everyone is searching after good leadership and hankering for  a just society with mature outlooks to  all matters of science and religion and  matters of political affairs . The Vedas have much to offer , and shortly , a new Renaissance period will begin , actually, it’s  began ,  education  of body , mind, and consciousness that everyone needs and will be satisfied with.

Simultaneously, one and different.

The Vedic philosophical goal is to get the individual to express individuality not independently, but in conformity with the Divine individual who is most expert at harmonising all individual expressions of bliss & love , thus the truth of simultaneously one and different is born . Srila Jiva Goswami says in His Tattva Sandarbha , God has made the impossible possible by expanding Himself and allowing  these expansions individuality and free will .

This individual spirit is a special benediction, especially when the tiny individual comes in touch and is able to share in the consciousness of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

In modern politics, neo liberalism is becoming popular,  but voluntary services to other individuals or camps or communities are far superior and rewarding experiences. Actually, the whole material  universe with the 8,400,000 different species of life is designed for those wishing to express their individuality outside of Divinity , the karmic synchronicity is in motion and one can endlessly wonder in a variety of bodies with vanity , that  is  a supreme individuals right that has been granted by Divinity , as much as the founding fathers of USA grants rights and freedoms.  Although, of course, in USA ‘ s case , its a sham .

Sir Isaac Newton’s argument against atheism

Atheism is so senseless & odious to mankind that it never had many professors. Can it be by accident that all birds beasts & men have their right side & left side alike shaped (except in their bowels) & just two eyes & no more on either side the face & just two ears on either side the head & a nose with two holes & no more between the eyes & one mouth under the nose & either two fore leggs or two wings or two arms on the sholders & two leggs on the hipps one on either side & no more? Whence arises this uniformity in all their outward shapes but from the counsel & contrivance of an Author? Whence is it that the eyes of all sorts of living creatures are transparent to the very bottom & the only transparent members in the body, having on the outside an hard transparent skin, & within transparent juyces with a crystalline Lens in the middle & a pupil before the Lens all of them so truly shaped & fitted for vision, that no Artist can mend them? Did blind chance know that there was light & what was its refraction & fit the eys of all creatures after the most curious manner to make use of it? These & such like considerations always have & ever will prevail with man kind to believe that there is a being who made all things & has all things in his power & who is therfore to be feared. — as mentioned in “A short Schem of the true Religion”

The Vedic writing confirms of course all that the great scholar presents , and anyone with any sense will do the same , the problems with the modern educational system is Darwinian hypothesis is taught as fact based science from infant school all the way to universities , when groups of school children are marched into the London science of history museum,  first thing they are overloaded with is a massive display of subjective Darwinian hypothesis , presented as fact based science.

Slaughter houses of education that attempt to present speculations as absolute truth , but times are changing the Darwinian has had his day , real scientific studies of matter , mind and consciousness are  taking its place , and that will reshape not only the way we think , but what our values and world veiw is .

The discovery Institute and the Bhaktivedanta Institute are certainly doing stirling work in that regard .

According to the Vedas Balarama expands  the individual living entitles , He does this from the first expansion of the Catur Vyuha , some of those entitles cannot be placed in the Spirtual realms because of a lack of spontaneous love for Krishna or His Vaikuntha expansions .

Free will ultimately means who you love and  what you are attracted to . It’s an individual choice granted. Those entitles who displaying their free will and unable to spontaneously love Krishna were placed into the Brahman the spiritual impersonal energies , after a time , for want of activity they are placed into the second Catur Vyuha within Mahavishnu who glances into the material energies and the living entitles begin their journey of enlightenment , to learn of love , the  ultimate understanding for those living entitles is to understand the Supreme love of Krishna and return back to the spiritual worlds .

So the second Catur Vyuha are functional forms of Krishna , man proposes God disposes  , it is not that God disposes first.

What is your worldview ?  Just  how was it formed  ?  Who has helped shape it ? Generally, you’re going to find many influences , family ,  friends,  an educational system, a philosophical leaning , theological pursuits , the arts . Etc, etc .One should ask oneself if the teachers and various other influences that  have shaped your world veiw  have been beneficial  presenting things  correctly or taking a  deeper  whether you may have been somewhat decieved and a fresh look is needed .

Many educated people think they are being objective  for instance, when  teaching science. Often, in reality, they look at the world and science through the prison of  subjective conditioning , taught to them by other subjective teachers . Science always is to presented as objective facts and not subjective opinions of objective the  facts .

When it comes to matters of philosophies and traditions , liberalism and conservation of family values or liberal democracies of lots of unqualified persons or the benefits of one good strong autocratic leaders working with his chosen team , much research is needed .

What is freedom and are freedoms harmful if taken to an  extreme , and what are the extremes , and what are the extreams of autocracies .

Fortunately , a previously untapped source is currently available and that resource is increasingly available and increasing in volume , the Vedas .

AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada started a revolution in altenative thinking , he began to present the Vedas , its touches on every topic, and brings a balanced perspective on all relevant matters .

No longer a society of the cheaters and the cheated , now everyone can see through everyone.

Theological texts contain a variety of different methods to make philosophical points. They have  illustrative parables and allegorical stories demonstrating how various karmic synchronicities within universal affairs are working . The purpose is to demonstrate the effects of a particular action one might perform and a  resultant outcome .  Either an immediate outcome ,  a little later , or far into the future .This science of conscious action within the complex material energies both gross and subtle will  that determine outcomes are incalculable and inconceivable . Because of being beyond the comprehension the atheistic draw the conclusion we cant understand it so , so  its z chance event somehow driven by obscure laws of nature , thaf are also chance events . The idea of  the theological sciences is to bring information to mankind and encourage ethics , morals  and service attitudes whilst carrying out ones alloted duties . Ultimately ,the Vedas say everything one does should be carried out as a sacrifice to please Divinity.

Every decent and authentic law that’s passed by states around the world , one will most definitely find , has its  origins in theologically sourced statements  .

Not only laws , but the artists , authors , musicians, and philosophical thinkers ,  who demonstrate their forms of art and who  illustrate  the human condition , practically every lesson they seek to teach or communicate has already been expressed  throughout  theological literature , in one way or another . There is nothing really new or  original to be said or understood , it’s all been said before , throughout histories, in much the same way  and can be traced . That’s because the spirit of Divinity awards  special insights to specific persons due to their previous pious activities .The wise are wise for a reason .

Thus, Vedic cultures and their various subsidiaries are complete in every way and extremely extensive . There is currently a revival underway and an unveiling of the different Vedas .

The Supreme Goddess of Fortune  Srimati Radharani shows the  example . Even in the material world, we find borrowed plumes , it  is well known that the wife is the  better half of the husband.  She cares for the husbands welfare and brings compassion care and understanding into family affairs .
In rendering services to one who is qualified ,  because of the  extraordinary quality of love , dedication , and sacrifice, a greater pleasure is experienced for the giver of love , and the origins of this stem from the spirtual realms and Srimati Radharani.
In Vedic Culture as well as other  theological cultures, this true principle is taught, although today this is not understood as men seek to exploit the ladies and the ladies exploit the men , such is western liberal materialism based on sense pleasure , with little understanding of the cultivation of higher consciousness .

Men also have to play their part and become qualified and learn how to dutifully carry out all activities  , along with the cultivation of qualities  fitting of a real man who seeks to unite with a woman such as  understanding  how to  set the perfect example for the family and also  connecting to Divinity, which is the ultimate duty .

The idea that women should somehow  not volunteer to take up  this wonderful and educational role in family life giving themselves over to development of every aspect of family life , and they should only be career women , springs from misunderstanding of  the
women’s  superior  role  that is so essential in societies , and in  so doing, the family unit remains strong and especially the children benefit.
Ignoring cultures , traditions, and instructive theological lessons, modern women are taught not to take up this submissive and cooperative roll , for fear of being used and not having opportunity for other interests , but in Vedic culture women ran communities and worked in so  many ways . A ladies’ role is never  inferior , but rather superior , and they were very much respected by men .

Having  a service  attitude in healthy ways toward those who value it is elevating and progressive.

So, in terms of the deeper consciousness and  the experience of love  with a soft heart and happily volunteer service,  the heart of a woman is  often superior to men .

For years, I have been walking through Bushey church , and one can not help but notice a particularly well maintained grave , surrounded by flowers and other paraphernalia . It always strikes me the 52 year old mother , whose grave it is , is still receiving love and good wishes from her family.

The Vedas recommends offering sacrifices to the Demigods on behalf of relatives who have left this world  , for appeasing the Demigods and pleading on behalf of relatives will  bring them good or better fortune to their departed relatives.

It’s highly beneficial in life  to have friends,  family, and well wishers .  However, the greatest well wisher are  the pure devotees of God  , by their good wishes and directions, all inauspiciousness is removed from one’s turbulent life and karma is  eradicated . By good fortune offered by them and by serving and enquiries to them ,  those  greatest of well wishers , because of their intimate and pleasing services to Divinity have the power to have God listen to their wishes , thus by their grace we can be placed in the Spirtual realms. http://www.thevedicspectator.com
