You can’t “moralize” your way out the material worlds.

Ultimately, sets of morals and ethics could be said to be like yogic practices .  Voluntarily controlling one’s mind and senses , for the benefit of one’s own self  mental well-being, and other’s mental well-being.  It can be understood as a  commitment to a higher cause , other than animalistic uncontrolled exploitation  for one’s own personal sense gratification .

The uncontrolled mind and senses are actually a great danger to us , warnings are  discussed elaborately in the Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna who says our minds that cause our  actions can be our greatest friend or our worse enemy. Although , in Western cultures, we are repeatedly given the narrative time and time again   to accept  libertarianism as a great device for real freedom. This is foolhardy.  Western litratures , the arts , social media, and mainstream all bring this idea to the forefront of everything.  “Take your mind and senses,  and do what you will …freedoms to do what you like , is a  great  happiness ,don’t let anyone or anything bring any form of  suppression ” You live once and die once is the underlying message.

The Vedas give an entirely different picture of freedom. Freedom from the material mind and material senses and an aquiring of a spiritual mind and senses if the goal . If  you put iron in fire, it acts like fire .  Ultimately, to gain association with Divinity and regain our spiritual identity, one has to learn to love God and understand His qualities and become familiar with His form and activities along with all His associates. The platform of yogic practices, as well as  morals and ethics, are an  essential step in freedom from the dictates of our conditioned nature . One automatically experiences a higher taste in a spiritual dimension , so lower tastes are automatically discarded .Bhagavad Gita discusses that path . Divinities association along with His associates , is so trancendentally intoxicating , and with grace and humility one can  be fortunate to receive it ,  but not if we are proud of our morals,  ethics and learning without God , or if we  consider rather proudly,  Divinity owes His love and reciprocation to us because of our practices .  All pride has to go . If one feels himself low and unworthy , the highest consciousness of Divinity is attracted because in love, there is dependency.

So , cut glass or diamonds?

When one has a liking for diamonds, the cut glass is automatically discarded. By Chanting the names of Divinity in a humbled spirit, one can begin to enter the Pastimes and activities of the Lord .

Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur has commented that someone with pure intent should lead the chanting of the Holy names . In leading the Holy names, one may enter and realise something of a relationship with Krishna or a particular lila, and in congregational chanting, it brings the awareness of everyone’s spiritual natures in one way or another.

When it comes to understanding Krishna consciousness in all its depths, it will depend on our sacrifice, our Sadhu sanga , and our  Sastra Sanga, each dependent on each other Its a  decending process and its by grace , all unwanted things should be removed by deep payer .Without Sadhu sanga, there can not be Sastra sanga,  without Sastra sanga, there can not be discernment in Sadhu sanga.

The following verses indicate the importance of pure association and how one benefits.

Mahāprabhu told just one moments association with a pure devotee is highly beneficial,  and warned against association of materialistic calculating people

The verse Tasmad Gurum  prapadyeta .11.3.21.Srimad Bhagavatam. Tells of those who have realised the proper conclusions of the scriptures.

The following should be throughly understood .

There are 1st class 2nd class and 3rd class devotees , the verses refer to first class and at least well progressed 2nd class devotees

3.25.25

satāṁ prasaṅgān mama vīrya-saṁvido
bhavanti hṛt-karṇa-rasāyanāḥ kathāḥ
taj-joṣaṇād āśv apavarga-vartmani

Translation
In the association of pure devotees, discussion of the pastimes and activities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is very pleasing and satisfying to the ear and the heart. By cultivating such knowledge, one gradually becomes advanced on the path of liberation, and thereafter, he is freed, and his attraction becomes fixed. Then real devotion and devotional service begin.

1.2.16

śuśrūṣoḥ śraddadhānasya
vāsudeva-kathā-ruciḥ
syān mahat-sevayā viprāḥ
puṇya-tīrtha-niṣevaṇāt
Synonyms

Translation
O twice-born sages, by serving those devotees who are completely freed from all vice, great service is done. By such service, one gains affinity for hearing the messages of Vāsudeva.

We should understand that Sri Guru comes as both Siksa and Diksa and also to one who is purified by association and services. The Sastra sanga of the previous acaryas can bestow great blessings .

In Gaudia Vaisnava Tattva, not only are there branches of disciplic succession but also branches and networks of countless varieties of services offered to  Divinity. Both are synonymous , connecting to a disciplic succession automatically means connecting to services of Divinity.
Services are carried not only in the material world  and when perfected ,  the example has been given , of cold iron becoming like red hot fire .Ones body mind and senses become spiritualized by Mahaprabhu and Sri Gurus grace.  Significantly ,  services directly connected with Goloka Vrndavana and the residents thereof begin to become revealed and experienced .

The Vaishnavas who has  aspirations for the sweetness of Krishna consciousness gives up the many variables of fake sweetness and deceit masquerading as true and honest relationships within the material world , they look for those in true recovery mode and carry out their recovery in their company.

The results of following the networking of services of the  various branches of disciplic succession is sweetness of a once  desert like  heart and a distaste for the bitterness that once posed itself  as sweet here in this world of names is rejected .

On a tree, we see many branches they all look different in their way , but on the other hand, if you rub the leaves together, they all taste the same , thus the many branches of Gaudia Vaisnavism is  like that and should be understood as such .

Krishna consciousness means to understand  how Krishna is situated in all things and is within the hearts of all conscious living beings . Ultimately, directly or indirectly, one can consider that ” Everything is happening by the supreme desire of Krishna this consciousness is Krishna consciousness ” those are the words of Srila AC Bhavtivedanta Swami Prabhupada . We should know of God and how great he is  and learn of his energies. We should know of the superior,  marginal, and inferia energies of Divinity if we want to be  situated  properly.  From knowledge comes  yhe beginning of renunciation. Lord Krishna advises us in His Bhagavad Gita to utalise karma yoga,  niskarma karma yoga,  jnana yoga , astanga yoga ,and their perfections come when Bhakti or devotion is added that is directed exclusively to Krishnawhich will culminate in Pure Bhaki yoga .

The broad applications  of Dharma sastra , Karma satra , Jnana sastra, and  Bhaki Sastra should be understood as peripheral and cor practices taken up at different times by different candidates who want to attain Krishna consciousness. Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has made the whole process simple by immediately giving access to the intimate limbs of Bhakti by the processes of association with devotees,  chanting the Holy names , study of the Vedas through the Srimad Bhagavatam,  worship of Deities and also living in Vrndavana physically or within the mind .

The acceptances of all of the teachings of the Gaudia Vaisnava sampradaya are absolutely essential. In the  gradual progression order from Sadhana to Raganuga . We can calculate that there is Black , white, and  many shades of grey in the transformations of consciousness, bringing us to a pure state of loving services. This process is depicted by Srila Rupa Goswami , which is practically by Srila Ragganatha das Goswami and explained  thoroughly by Srila Jiva Goswami . These  teachings have been brought to light in modern times by Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur,  and further  practicality demonstrated by Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami, those that Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada has connected everyone to , along with some of his God brothers .

We must understand the fullness  of our historical sampradaya and the traditions they represent as shaped by Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

The essence of Krishna consciousness , Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja once said to one of  his leading disciples , and that he was  really trying to give , i.e. the messages his father, Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur had relished , had  been understood by Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati leading disciples . In that way, Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami was confident the messages are being carried on .

Srimad Bhagavatam 1.2.19

tadā rajas-tamo-bhāvāḥ
kāma-lobhādayaś ca ye
ceta etair anāviddhaṁ
sthitaṁ sattve prasīdati

Synonyms

tadā — at that time; rajaḥ — in the mode of passion; tamaḥ — the mode of ignorance; bhāvāḥ — the situation; kāma — lust and desire; lobha — hankering; ādayaḥ — others; ca — and; ye — whatever they are; cetaḥ — the mind; etaiḥ — by these; anāviddham — without being affected; sthitam — being fixed; sattve — in the mode of goodness; prasīdati — thus becomes fully satisfied.

Translation

As soon as irrevocable loving service is established in the heart, the effects of nature’s modes of passion and ignorance, such as lust, desire and hankering, disappear from the heart. Then the devotee is established in goodness, and he becomes completely happy.

The psychological scientific process is described. The Vedas give an analysis of what’s called modes of nature , namely goodness , passion, and ignorance. One may wonder why religious or yogic life is strict in some senses. This verse provides the answers,  actually it’s a well known fact that discipline is essential for happy healthy and steadily progressive lives . The army uses it , schools use it , why not religious people.

The recommendation in the Vedas is to make the mind the best of friends and control it rather than it controlling us . With sacred chanting of any name of God, this practice is made easy . “it’s more difficult to control the mind than to stop the raging wind,” Arjuna tells Krishna in Bhagavad Gita.

If one is successful in controlling the mind and senses one comes to the platform of goodness , the beginning of the opening to trancendental wisdom , in such consciousness one is firmly situated and very well understands dualism and beyond.

To realise one is not the body and to see the true equality of all living beings and being free from the influences of lust ,anger , greed , envy and self centred madness is the results of trancendental training.

By association of those well practised and by helping them in their particular endeavours to render services to God and also humanity, one can boost one’s enthusiasm in getting free from the lower modes and reach high

To consider these fundamental Vedic truths, one could begin by looking at the evidence that can be practically examined,  for instance, microbial intelligence.
Of course, microbes are living, and living means there must be a display of intelligence,  studies how been made of microbes  specific behaviour , its seen they exhibit defensive behaviour and make choices for a best option , the growth of plants and trees are similar, they work their way around objects the block their path , they even respond to music , experiments have shown .
The Vedas description of the source of everything is clearly described, and it’s clearly described as personal. From one energetic source comes thd many many , as well, the energetic source expands infinite amounts of multifarious energies . These energies are looked at as being superior,  marginal, and inferior in nature , everything about energy is eternal,  even material energies are so , but they transform,  nothing is lost , this is so because the energies origins are from the eternal.
The incalculable complexities and we can say mysterious workings of the material energies can be easily seen , as, for example, one acorn tree , in its life how many acorns will it produce, and within each acorn how many more trees are present.
Everything within nature is interconnected and originated from one one source that has the ability to manifest specifically in measured ways throughout the universe.

These arrangements are, of course, far too complex to be happening by chance  random and unguided mutations within nature , and the laws of nature , gravitational forces , Radiation at specific strengths and electromagnetic energies are precisely in order , any variations would halt all life .Only the proud atheistic persons put common sense and a sense of rationale to one side and deliberately practice psychological cancel culture. The cancellation of logic to suit an atheistic agenda.
Mutational math modelling is never presented by the Darwinians.
If one understands scientific dualism that clearly illustrates mind , matter, and  consciousness , one can then begin to understand  the responsive universe and its purpose and source . The universe is a reflection of something substantial. The substantial reality remains,  while reflections come and go .
The parallel within the Vedas is of  the many possibilities in the world of quantum physics where entrapped and attached consciousness particles carry themselves endlessly within the cyclic cycles of the commings and goings of universal affairs. They  get what you want to be life after life .
Each pleasure seeking particle of consciousness is on a journey to find satisfaction, but they are never  really satisfied by atoms , elements, or compounds ,or  being within a mind and intellect  that tries to exploit such energies.
Consciousness needs to be surrounded by conscious energies. Like oil within oil , currently we are oil within water .

Gaudia Vaisnavism and its  distribution

Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur particularly wanted to bring Vedic culture in all  its aspects , both the peripheral systematic teaching within what he referred to as Devi Varna Ashram systems which culminates in the cor esoteric truths that Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has revealed in His recent pastimes , the Thakur wanted all these teaching made available and distributed to modernity . In current times the cream of the Vedas in the form of the Srimad Bhagavatam as well as Caitanya Caratamrita  the essence of the Gaudia Vaisnava conclusions as taught by Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu to the Goswami’s of Vrndavana , are bring  presented and taught  by ISKCON  devotees and other Gaudia Vaisnava’s from other institutions all over the world. It was Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada who originally brought them to the shores of the USA  in 1965 . Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur had prayed for a son who could continue and expand his desire to  establish Krishna consciousness world wide  and specifically the Raga Marg of the  residents of Vrndavana where everyone can be  ultimately under the service of Srimati Radharani in one way or another  giving all pleasure to Krishna . Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja appeared as the son of Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur, and he  served his father’s trancendental wishes and began to form a Vedic institution called the Gaudia math. He began  extensively reintroding Gaudia Vaisnavism , as taught by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu in authentic ways as Mahāprabhu wanted within India . In doing so, Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati was correcting the many  misunderstandings that former generations had introduced. His two leading disciples who specialised in presenting Krishna consciousness scientifically , philosophically, and culturally as well as appropriately to the Western audience are Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad as well as  Srila BR Sridhar Swami , other prominent disciples also have made major contributions. Srila AC Bhavtivedanta Swami Prabhupada has given the Western world a chance to practically explore the Vedic Culures and examine its many benefits , introducing its untapped and unlimited wealth . He was a most prolific writer and teacher. There is no doubt Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami, who brought , under the orders of his spiritual master , the  Gaudia Vaisnava teachings worldwide, was extremely successful and still is . This was the same mission that was originally desired by Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur and Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja . Its noteworthy to say that when Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami left the world , he instructed his disciples that if they had questions about Gaudia Vaisnava tattva they should approach Srila BR Sridhar Swami , Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja commented that he was content that Srila BR Sridha Swami had understood everything of his ,  Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati’s  teachings .
Many other Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas have contributed and are contributing . Some are  presenting other more esoteric aspects that are required to be delved into by the mature student , the teachings of  Srila RupaRagganatha  Goswami’s.

Both Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami and Srila BR Sridhar Swami could have at any time elaborated  unlimitedly on the deepest aspects of Gaudia teachings and occasionally did so  . Although bringing the whole of the Western world and helping everyone enter into and understand the Vedic  topics in systematic ways as is  recommended in the Srimad Bhagavatam was their  general approach and, of course, it needed to be.

Discernment is an important quality to cultivate , especially in the world of mainstream media and social media, and it is also important in the world of science, philosophy, and religion.

Although God can be understood as the Supreme Father, and although God sent His son to rescue the entangled beings , still,  God can not be limited in any way . He has unlimited sons or daughters who are expanded from Him . He has unlimited types of relationships , whatever we feel instinctively about all relationships has its origins within Divinity.
The Vedas are essential to understanding the spiritual varigatedness of Divinity, unless one understands the original varigatedness one will be forever attracted to the distant reflection of it , the flickering material world .
A reflection of a flower is an impression of it , but it can not ever hold the feelings , impressions, and fascination that the real flower holds ..

How to see reality…..

Caitanya Caratamrita.

jīvera ‘svarūpa’ haya — kṛṣṇera ‘nitya-dāsa’
kṛṣṇera ‘taṭasthā-śakti’ ‘bhedābheda-prakāśa’
sūryāṁśa-kiraṇa, yaiche agni-jvālā-caya
svābhāvika kṛṣṇera tina-prakāra ‘śakti’ haya

Translation
“It is the living entity’s constitutional position to be an eternal servant of Kṛṣṇa because he is the marginal energy of Kṛṣṇa and a manifestation simultaneously one with and different from the Lord, like a molecular particle of sunshine or fire. Kṛṣṇa has three varieties of energy…

We should not run away from who we really are , from the eternal comes the eternal. From the sun, uncountable photons appear.
In conditioned life, we run away from reality and are trying to avoid dealing with our underlying issues of dissatisfaction .We do this in different ways , for example, in lust , anger , greed, envy , and in all kinds of madness and illusions .
The recommendation of the Vedas is to offer ones natural occupational activities in a sacrifice to Divinity and follow ethical and moral responsibilities.
This can be easily done if one calls for the help of Divinity who resides in the heart and who can help us feel inspired giving as strength to continue on fighting the good fight against the alluring illusion of forgetfulness of reality.
The calling or chanting of God’s various authorised names and that He accepts are in theological text , within which the sciences of sound are being described . Sabdha Brahman is a pure sound of truth and sincerity.
If one vibrates sounds of anger and envy, one result comes , if we vibrate truth , compassion, and understanding, another result comes ..
The writings of the Gaudia Acaryas elaborate on these topics , Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada recently arrived in the West , he has many books in English translated with commentaries.

Generally, when one sees Sri Guru for the first time , there is suspicion and doubt .By enquiring gradually, the doubts are removed one by one, and faith increases in both Sri Guru and the words spoken .
In some cases, immediately there is deep faith , no doubt , no suspicions.
This , the Vedas say , is because of previous cultivation of consciousness of spiritualservicess to Sri Gur,  who comes in many forms and represents God . In that way, they are non different from the Supreme Personality of Godhead

The trancendental writings of the Goswami’s  including Srila Rupa Goswami , Srila Ragganatha das Goswami, Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur ,Srila Jayadeva Goswami …Srila Prabodhananda Sarasvat Thakur are windows to the spiritual realms . In recent times Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada has given his commentary to the Srimad Bhagavatam,  the Bhagavad Gita and the Caitanya Caratamrita all of whom glorify the previous acaryas and indicate the importance of understanding their teachings . By chanting purely the Holy names without offences and by serving under the direction and guidance of Sri Guru within the mission of Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Nityananda prabhu , those  windows that are synonymous with  the pure chanting of the Holy names are  opened wide .
The exact process of prizing open the window is to develop an extremely fixed and controlled mind by the Bhakti yoga process .  The great science of self realisation and trancendental rasa has been clearly delineated by Rupa Goswami , thus , the scientific process of Krishna consciousness is clear  , i.e. how to extract a conditioned consciousness from the entanglements of the material energies and establish it within the spiritual planes and the spiritual varigatedness thereof . By a five fold trancendental meditation  process, beginning with hearing , chanting, and deep remembrance bring one in contact with the  trancendental residents of Vrndavana who are the  lovers , friends and family members of Krishna. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has given everyone access,  no previous qualifications are required.
