  • Freedom or tightly bound.

    Mar 21st, 2024

Unless one follows the regulative principles of  freedom given by traditions and  deep philosophically led cultures, so-called freedom  is like the freedom of sophisticated animals ,who discard any sense of morals ethics and who want to live a life simply following the demands of their bodies , like eating ,sleeping , sexual demands ,and defending  territories that they consider theirs .

Theological texts give the regulative principles of freedom,  a therapeutic system that regulates the body and mind and  which automatically brings one’s deeper inner consciousness to the forefront.

Such  deeper consciousness is where hankering and lamenting come to an end ,such consciousness brings one to see the true equality in all beings ,and the demands of the gross body , the lower self , diminish . This is Vedic life and life based on true satisfaction and peace in oneself and with others , the high fleeting ideals of adversaries and economic expansion at any cost , drives us into the external world of animal consciousness.

Finding and tracing out our original pure consciousness brings real freedom and is expressed in newer and newer ways, and eventually, the freedom of Divinity and His associates are understood in full .

  • Scientific theory..

    Mar 18th, 2024

A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation & experiment. Such fact-supported theories are not Darwinian”guesses” but reliable accounts of the real world.

The problem with the current scientific world ,including educational systems , is they are forever presenting to students, the media, and the wider world that their citations and subjective opinions based on objective observations are practically ” done and dusted ” and  fact   based and indisputably true , that’s the impression they give , although behind closed doors , they know of the flaws and massive gaps in their thinking .

Most people take them as honest, but it’s actually cheating to present something as something it’s  actually not , namely indisputable.

When we witness  sophisticated design and signs of obvious math in just about everything in nature ,  in our own experience of  a  technological world , we would assume codes,  information and organised perfect math ,  originates from mind and consciousness , a person. The flaws of the Darwinian evolution hypothesis have been nicely explained by Dr Jonathan Wells , in his book The Ikons of evolution.  NYAYA logic says  when we see smoke , there is fire , simple thing really

  • Conserve values add value .

    Mar 10th, 2024

The demand for  eating ,sleeping , sex, and defending oneself in  summary is called material life in the Vedic theological system . Each of the above has its place, but they must add value.
The power to overcome excessive demands of the body and mind  or restrict them appropriately according to ones station in life is called  cultivating spiritual life and turning to an unlimited super subjective realm is the Param Gatim , the final and absolute goal of all beings . CONSERVE VALUES , BRINGS VALUES is very much the Vedic life , indeed, it’s the life recommended by all bone fide theological texts .

Why ,?  ask any addiction therapy expert , or even a neuroscientist,  the more we become loose in our morals ethics and value systems, the more the brain is wired to become more and more addictive in its neurological workings .Krishna explains in Bhagavad Gita about the responsive universe and how it can be wired to add complexity or diminish complexity and bring pure simplicity.

More on this topic soon .

Mind is best friends or worst enemy .

Bhagavad Gita delineation of several yoga systems is very helpful. According to ones station in life, one can adopt a suitable system .

The inner self satisfaction and the acceptance of the workings and limitation of a materially conditioned body are spoken about in detail ,there is always always a progression in our lives and a positive way forward, Divinity never leaves anyone on a helpless situation.

Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 16: The Divine And Demoniac Natures

    Chapter 16, Verse 1-3

The Blessed Lord said: Fearlessness, purification of one’s existence, cultivation of spiritual knowledge, charity, self-control, performance of sacrifice, study of the Vedas, austerity and simplicity; nonviolence, truthfulness, freedom from anger; renunciation, tranquility, aversion to faultfinding, compassion and freedom from covetousness; gentleness, modesty and steady determination; vigor, forgiveness, fortitude, cleanliness, freedom from envy and the passion for honor-these transcendental qualities, O son of Bharata, belong to godly men endowed with divine nature.

    Chapter 16, Verse 4

Arrogance, pride, anger, conceit, harshness and ignorance-these qualities belong to those of demonic nature, O son of Prtha.

    Chapter 16, Verse 5

The transcendental qualities are conducive to liberation, whereas the demonic qualities make for bondage. Do not worry, O son of Pandu, for you are born with the divine qualities.

    Chapter 16, Verse 6

O son of Prtha, in this world there are two kinds of created beings. One is called the divine and the other demonic. I have already explained to you at length the divine qualities. Now hear from Me of the demoniac.

    Chapter 16, Verse 7

Those who are demoniac do not know what is to be done and what is not to be done. Neither cleanliness nor proper behavior nor truth is found in them.

    Chapter 16, Verse 8

They say that this world is unreal, that there is no foundation and that there is no God in control. It is produced of sex desire, and has no cause other than lust.

    Chapter 16, Verse 9

Following such conclusions, the demoniac, who are lost to themselves and who have no intelligence, engage in unbeneficial, horrible works meant to destroy the world.

    Chapter 16, Verse 10

The demoniac, taking shelter of insatiable lust, pride and false prestige, and being thus illusioned, are always sworn to unclean work, attracted by the impermanent.

    Chapter 16, Verse 11-12

They believe that to gratify the senses unto the end of life is the prime necessity of human civilization. Thus there is no end to their anxiety. Being bound by hundreds and thousands of desires, by lust and anger, they secure money by illegal means for sense gratification.

    Chapter 16, Verse 13-15

The demoniac person thinks: So much wealth do I have today, and I will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it will increase in the future, more and more. He is my enemy, and I have killed him; and my other enemy will also be killed. I am the lord of everything, I am the enjoyer, I am perfect, powerful and happy. I am the richest man, surrounded by aristocratic relatives. There is none so powerful and happy as I am. I shall perform sacrifices, I shall give some charity, and thus I shall rejoice. In this way, such persons are deluded by ignorance.

  • Free will or free won’t

    Mar 6th, 2024

Free will simply put is….do you want to love and appreciate Divinity and His associates and become intimately united in His affairs giving your life to love ? Love can be either mixed with various degrees of awe and reverence or  it can be completely spontaneous with no formalities.

Or do you want to deny Divinity and His spontaneous  love for you ,  and live independently of Him ,  and somewhat selfishly to one degree or another.

The residents of Vrndavana featured in the tenth Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam , and particularly the Gopies and Srimati Radharani, demonstrate an absolute platform of spontaneous love .

Elsewhere in the Bhagavatam, the residents of Dwarka demonstrate love mixed with awe and reverence.

Srila Rupa Gosvami has written on topics of love very elaborately, and to understand love and free will, one should read his works .

  • Intelligentsia worth following

    Mar 3rd, 2024

The Bhagavatam discriminates between an intelligentsia that are worth following in matters of social development, sciences of all kinds , economics , philosophy & religion . The top most  of the intelligentsia  are able to distinguish matter from consciousness , persons unable to do so are the highest of the Brahminical intelligensia,  but can be classed as learned Vipras , who are scholars in various feilds,  and who always work under the direction of self realised Brahminical persons .

The Srimad Bhagavatam contained  many references to the proper adjustments to societies. It indicates that we have to understand  academics alongside realized knowledge of the origins of consciousness. In that way, know what is clearly entanglements ,  illusion and deceit against what is knowledge , knowledge of knowledge and ignorance side by side , is essential  . There are two energies functioning , matter, and consciousness in this existence. In philosophy, this is technically called dualism .

Unless one understands these  truths , any knowledge one may have is like so many zeros , and limits  one in a real progressive path of lifes ultimate purpose and potential

When one is added to zeros, then substantially comes about , the fundermental principles of material nature are elaborated upon in the third canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam.

  • Truths and untruths.

    Mar 2nd, 2024

Srila Sarasvati Thakura said “that it is imperative not only to elucidate the truth but also to criticize anything false, because in Kali-yuga there is so much false propaganda that we have to be very clear; there cannot be any ambiguity in our message:”

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness follows this principle,  because its founder AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is a direct disciple of Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami.

Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami mostly concentrated his preaching work in India ,pulling apart falsehood in Hinduism that had built up over generations, and presenting the original meaning of the Vedas ,as well as the relatively contemporary teachings by Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu of the real goals of the Vedas.

AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada came to the west ,and in the same spirit, challenging religions who do follow correctly,  as well.as political parties who have corrupted democracies or unsavoury connections to business persons who lobby political parties . He essentially called out cheaters and rascals and especially called out scientific teachers  and the general scientific community who present speculation and guesses as fact based science,  its not ,Dr Richard Thompson or Sadaputa prabhu,  was a member of the Bhagavatam institute. The scientific wing of ISKCON,  sadly, he passed away a few years ago but go to  YouTube, and all His scientific and extremely informative films and lectures can be viewed .

  • Hard as a thunderbolt soft as a rose…

    Mar 1st, 2024

The famous teacher of Gaudia Vaisnavism, Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja,  challenged just about everything about Hinduism , as he sought to correct generations of continued misunderstandings of the Vedas ,  the establishment dispised him .

Nevertheless, a bold spiritual or political leader , if he or she is a real leader , and not a paid servant duty , and not controlled  by  lobby  groups,  is absolutely duty bound  to speak truth , and set an example of dutifully carrying out service ,Krishna or Divinity has responsibility because over many many generations values can change so much that truths can be left behind and societies deteriorates as every one becomes subjected to self centred untruths , thus Divinity carries out His responsibilities and comes again and again to set societies straight , He comes personally or sends inspiration pure persons , who are always listened to .

There is no  compromise when it comes to absolute truth ,but certainly, there are different approaches and practices and rates of understanding this truth ,  depending on a person’s state of consciousness or where they are situated in their practical lives.

The Vedas is so very very broad that all discord is harmonized,  great knowledgeable teachers who know how to apply the Vedas to individual persons or societies are needed and this is one of the activities , on going , of the members of the International Society for Krishna consciousness,  who have been tasked by their inspirational leader and founder to do so . There is no room for personal vanity or sentiments based on imperfect senses or catering to weakness of character .

The Vedic political systems are very much situated in the middle ground ,  in the sense that all members of societies are understood in psychological ways , and everyone is valued and key to a thriving society. Political leaders in Vedic culture always seek advice from Brahminical persons,  who know scientifically  a body mind and consciousness,  and Vipras who  have specialisations in specific fields , so this was  all arranged for all citizens and social mobility and progressive paths were in place for everyone . ISKCON is destined to greatly influence the world in good time , bit by bit , persons will gain wisdom of the Vedas and see its values for living in todays world.

  • Micro macro ,  I am everywhere and nowhere to be found..

    Feb 28th, 2024

Divinity is a multidimensional personality. He has expanded His energies into the  trillions of universes. But He remains outside of them . He is in His fullness within every  single  atom along with His connections to His whole creation , but also simultaneously lives outside in His fullness  . Thus, within the atoms  are also  trillions of universes and  total  existence .  How can this be ? Once the engineer of this universe came to see Krishna , Krishna servant said Lord Bramha’s arrived , Krishna immediately said, “Which Bramha ? ” Bramha’s puzzlement at why Krishna asked this question was solved , when Krishna brought all the Bramha’s from millions of universes before Him , in the one room He was sitting in , some had thousands of ” heads ” some had less .

The third Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam,  the chapter entitled the fundermental principles of material nature, there is a  discussion on this topic, and one can delve into it the multidimensional personality of Krishna.

The principle of our limited senses are discussed,  for instance we cannot see radio waves or certain frequency of light , we cannot hear certain sound pitches ,and generally we cannot read minds , although some people can .

The inconceivable and simultaneously oneness & difference   of Divinity and His multidimensional existence should be accepted and contemplated , we should understand just how great God is and understand the energies and the energetic source . We, of course, can not expect that our insights and sence perception are the same as everyone’s , some persons have greater insights , and in Bhagavad Gita krishna who has the greatest of insights is telling us about them , our duty is to try to understand the inconceivable nature of Divinity,  who expands his unlimited sweetness are stands before us like an ordinary person .

The destination of a Darwinian is obviously to accept another material body.
Actually, two forms of evolution are accepted.
Micro evolution, according to environmental changes ,and an evolution of consciousness, traversing throughout the universe in different bodies ,high ,low and mediocre, which can culminate in seeing the true equality of all living things , and from that platform advance further in consciousness to understand the supreme personality of Godhead  and His consciousness,  which is eternal bliss and knowledge, sat cit ananda
