Albert Einstein found it very difficult to accept that what one part of the universe was doing could affect another part billions of miles away simultaneously , spooky action at a distance he called it .
But in the Vedic understanding of the universe all energies are emanating from one conscious source, that Krishna is directly and indirectly conscious of all living beings , and also situated in every atom simultaneously is recorded , another Vedic term is the all prevading Brahman energies . This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of religion. It is everlasting, and it is joyfully performed.
Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has revealed an ultimate pinnacle of Bhakti in love , He reveals something of the pranaya the oneness of love between Radharani and Krishna. He is revealing through the Goswami’s of Vrndavana the process of how to receive this special benediction granted in kali yuga and the experiences of the ever new and fresh playfulness of Goloka Vrndavana.
Actually, Krishna is the most merciful of persons who likes to see the good in everything . He even awarded the position as a mother to a demon witch who came to murder him she offered her breastmilk to Him in His infant pastimes , and her breast was smeared with poison . Krishna mercifully took the mothering aspect of the deed and appreciated her “motherly ways “
Likewise , to understand anything of Radha Krishna Nitya lila, we must have the mercy of Radha Krishna and Their devotees , and then we might begin to understand. Spiritual life is a decending process, and it’s handed down by grace .
Srimati Radharani and Her associates are experiencing the ever new , ever enthusiastic and ever increasing love for Krishna, because they have not a tinge of selfish desires , they only want Krishna’s happiness.
If we make calculations for our own benefit we can never experience the enthusiasm of love , even in this material world this reflection of truth is present.
Everything present in this world can be taken as a great learning process. And we must pray to understand Radha Krishna and Their exalted and super excellence of Their super subjective realms, which is high above the material plane of self-centred and motivated action . We must seek those who know of this plane and hear from them , enquire from them, and absorb ourselves in the litratures of the Gaudia Vaisnava param para.
In the world of reality we are losing control of our bodies , they are forcibly changing day by day , whether we like it or not , we have no choice , cells are in fast reproduction mode , the atoms ,elements compounds, and molecules are busy at work , and our leaders in scientific feilds are clueless as to how or why . Despite their desperate attempt to research ageing and deterioration of cell reproduction, they unfortunately remain frustrated and bewildered. The only solution offered is the sticking plaster of plastic surgery, which never quite looks natural.
It is indeed a great tragedy that should not be accepted , beautiful , young , youthful, and ever enthusiastic for life bodies , are being forced to change and wither away . Why should youth be given up ? Why should we blindly accept this happening to our bodies , along with confused minds and depleting wit and intelligence , we should not accept , rather, ask why ?
After all , why listen to speculative scientific materialism , such speculations can’t even understand or account for dualism , ( mind and body as seperate energies) materialism constantly pushes subjective bias , as fact based science , convincing the innocent public , that they know clearly how the world works , everything chance physical laws with no law maker.
The intelligence should be utilised properly in human life the Vedas say , make the best of your life , plan for a real future , a future where one leaves behind all previous past present and futures . In order to plan properly , you must know your best options . If you have not enquired about your current condition within a specific body that is given a specific time , you are not giving yourself what you deserve . Although modern Western societies encourage us to become sophisticated amimals , the Vedas condemnes that approach as ignorance . Ignoring the onslaught of time and accepting death without question is animal life . Vedas says , “Look into the best of the options open for you , do so immediately , as time and tide wait for no man .”
All is revealed in the Vedas and by the professors who know them and live them. So know your life better , know what your best options are . Make your plan , you know for sure your consciousness is not the changing body , the Vedas offer a body to match the consciousness energies in more ways than one .
Adhyātma, means ones original pure consciousness , the Atma , conditioned by a material body and a material mind. Bodies are made of atoms , elements compounds, and minds are made of material ethereal subtle elements . The original consciousness has an opportunity, by its spontaneous free will to turn either way , like a crab on the beach can run into the water or the land .According to their individual desire , they are given a place by higher authorities either into the material natures or directly the spirtual realms .
When they choose by their own attitudes the lesser energies, they are supervised by authorities working independently of them , in various supervisory rolls , and they are impregnated into the lesser energies, and the Demigods monitor the reactive and responsive mechanisms that are automated , and karmic synchronicities begin . The free will and determinism of the consciousness within nature springs into action . This planet Earth has specific laws of nature , but in the higher , lower, and middle planetary systems , different laws of time and reactions are taking effect .
The ginormous universal form of Divinity, an expansion of Visnu, who is directly and indirectly responsible for everything, is lying down in a mystic slumber , and through His” yoga nidra ” sleeping and dreaming , is creating the temporary illusory worlds .
They are created , maintained and annihilated in the course of time , facilitating the activities of each individual jiva .
Everything about the creation, although appearing impersonal, is personal because everything of the universal form is ultimately directed by Krishna in His expansion of Maha Visnu. This universal form also includes the cooperation of all the demigods who reside in different planets. It is called adhidaivata.
The physical nature that consciousness is experiencing and subjected to , which include psychological conditions , constantly changes , the material bodies pass through six stages: they are born, they grow, they remain for some duration, they produce some by-products, they dwindle, and then they vanish. Why this is so , and how the particular physical laws are operating causing the deteriation of cells , that eventually can not reprocess themselves, no one knows . The scientific community is trying to artificially slow down ageing and death . This physical nature is called adhibhūta, and it’s under the laws of this part of the universe . Time and physical laws operate differently within the multidimensional universe , the Vedas indicate . After all , why assume these laws are universally the same throughout our universe. The Harvard Prof Lisa Randall assessment of multidimensional space parallels the Vedas .
The Vedas give deep scientific insight and bring the universal order to light .
Can a microbe living in a petri dish conceptualise anything of the world outside his dish , the laboratory where the petri dish resides , or the town the laboratory is situated , everyone one would probably give the same resounding answer….NO !
Could a frog born in a well conceptualise the oceans , he has some experience of water after all , and theoretically could compare his experiences of the water within his well to the oceans of the world , he might say is the ocean 10 times or 100 times or 1000 times bigger than my well ? , his well is his only reference point, after all , his own limited experiences.
Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita wherever the mind wonders bring it back under the control of the self . A mind is limited , but not the consciousness that the mind covers.
In the Srimad Bhagavatam, there are passages describing great souls leaving their bodies at the time of death . How they, before reaching Goloka ,which the Vedas says is the top most planet in a spiritual realm , pass through the many different planetary systems , both lower , middle, and higher . Traversing on they are carried by the speed of their pure minds , past all the heavenly abodes , past Lord Bramha’s abode , past even all the Vaikuntha planets , which are also parts of the spiritual realms . The great souls watch all those various planet’s pass them by before reaching their destined abode , Goloka Vrndavana.
These passages given in the Bhagavatam give an understanding of the inconceivable vastness of the material and spiritual realms . It is said that to understand Krishna or Divinity it is imperative to accept that He possesses inconceivable energies . We are like a microbe of consciousness, God is like the size of the Sun if we want to draw comparisons.
So intellectually using rationale , we should accept that just as the microbial creature in his petri dish could never have capacities to understand anything of the vastness of his laboratory , or Dr Frogg PHD could never really understand the vastness of the oceans by using his well as a comparison . A sane person will accept the limited senses , limited mind , as well as limited intelligence , obviously limit our capacities . Not to say we should not use our God-given intelligence to advance our understanding .God gives intelligence to understand and realise. We should definitely do so , Oxford and Cambridge universities originated for that purpose . We should understand how great our universe is. But the true greatness of Divinity is beyond our capacity to understand , although a fraction may be comprehended perhaps. The Vedas says His very sweet personality , which He is only more than willing to share , along with His playful and artistic nature, can greatly expand, allowing the limited to begin to directly relate with the unlimited . Understanding Divinity is a decending process rather than an ascending one .
The Personality of Godhead is perfect and complete, and because He is completely perfect, all emanations from Him, such as this phenomenal world, are perfectly equipped as complete wholes. Whatever is produced of the Complete Whole is also complete in itself. Because He is the Complete Whole, even though so many complete units emanate from Him, He remains the complete balance.
The qualified and authentic Brahminical intelligentsia have properly understood matter and consciousness and accept and can see logically and scientifically that the inconceivable energies of our universal affairs appear to work in set orderly ways , and naturally they conclude that what Krishna clearly says in Bhagavad Gita can be seen to happen , intelligence is at work .
The Brahminical thinkers also accept that such intelligence behind the universal order in rationale ways and thus obviously wishes to communicate with all living beings , His expansions, and to that end puts in place different measures or systems for that to be achieved , communications in many ways are ongoing
Inspiration and revelation , is one such method , which in turn can take the form of written words , and it should obviously be accepted as a possibility , as much as anyone on any given topic , who has genuinely understood or have found new original insights into it will be able to communicate to others .
Michael Behe from the intelligent design movement has nicely coined the phrase “irreducible complexity.”
I think the above verse from Sri Isopanisad concurs with his thinking, and Behe being an intelligent and spiritual person seems to have been inspired by Divinity Himself to come up with that phrase.
The Vedas fully elaborate on how subjective evolution takes place , meaning a mental state is responded to by a universal machine , which in turn offers specific tailored material bodies, minds, and intellects to suit and that are entrapped in cyclic births and deaths , according to their free will .
The idea of mechanistically driven chance affairs , without any outside agencies help being the specific cause of anything , which is the Darwinian veiw , is deemed illogical and objectively unscientific. In other words, it remains clearly subjective speculation, and as time goes on and more and more obvious design and order in everything is detected , it becomes more and more obsurd.
There are many mysterious ways that the machines of the body are manufactured. Here is one such example.
“In biological organisms, amino acids appear almost exclusively in the left-handed form (L-amino acids) and sugars in the right-handed form (R-sugars). Since the enzymes catalyze reactions, they enforce homochirality on a great variety of other chemicals, including hormones, toxins, fragrances, and food flavors.”
Enforce implies an enforcer , an engineer who is making distinctive plans , and it, of course, baffling why chirality functions in these ways .
All purposes served by a small well can at once be served by a great reservoir of water. Similarly, all the purposes of the Vedas can be served to one who knows the purpose behind them
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: It is said that there is an imperishable banyan tree that has its roots upward and its branches down and whose leaves are the Vedic hymns. One who knows this tree is the knower of the Vedas.
Just see how Lord Krishna is using those above examples from nature to help drive home some important philosophical points in descriptions of the Vedas . Frequently, the Srimad Bhagavatam uses nature to illustrate key lessons to be learned.
The Vedas is extremely broad , it can be applied in different ways at all times in all places with the variety of persons in societies. Whatever their status or current conditioning, they all can all find the benefits
The expert book Bhagavat , those who Vedic pure scholars and pure devotees, know the art of Vedic application , The pure Gaudia vaisnava who is completely familiar with the purposes of the Vedas , should be sought after and approached , any question can be put to Him or her , naturally a completely balanced and relative answer will be given . Ultimately, the pure sounds of the Vedas are revealed within the heart of someone who is sincere and who is 24 hours exclusively engaged in the services of Divinity , there are no deviations in the hearts of the pure representatives , thus Krishna or God is in relationship with such persons.
The Bhagavatam discriminates between an intelligentsia that are worth following in matters of social development, sciences of all kinds , economics , philosophy & religion . The top most of the intelligentsia are able to distinguish matter from consciousness , persons unable to do so are not of the highest of the Brahminical intelligensia, but can be classed as learned Vipras , who are scholars in various feilds, and who always work under the direction of self realised Brahminical persons .
The Srimad Bhagavatam contains many references to the proper adjustments to societies. It indicates that we have to understand academics alongside realized knowledge of the origins of consciousness. In that way, know what are clearly entanglements , illusions, and deceit as opposed to what is knowledge . Knowledge of knowledge and ignorance side by side is essential . There are two energies functioning , matter in gross and subtle forms, and consciousness , in this existence of the material universes. In philosophy of science, this is technically called dualism .
Unless one understands these truths , any knowledge one may have are like so many zeros , and limits a real progressive path of lifes ultimate purposes and potential
When one is added to zeros, then substantially in every way comes about , the fundermental principles of material nature are elaborated upon in the third canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam , much detail of the ethereal , subtle, quantum atomic plane and their interactions with the classical plane of physics is discussed .
The Vedas have given an analogy , it describes a clear pond with many beautiful trees surrounding it . Looking at the reflection in the water, the trees surrounding the pond have perfect mirror reflections in its water , pretty clear details can be seen , but there is a slight shimmering in our vision , nothing steady .
Someone intoxicated might take the reflection for reality , even though the reflection easily moves and changes in the wind . This analogy is given to give the idea of a material world and a spiritual world working side by side . The idea is that the living being is setting themselves up to be supream enjoyer. The problem comes when the living being is trying to be an enjoyer of a substance that they know nothing about .
They know nothing of their past , little about the present, and their future is always unknown and uncertain , what to speak of the origins and workings of nature itself , they are clueless . Even taking these points into consideration how can one become a real enjoyer in the world of uncertainty and ignorance , that’s impossible.
The form of Divinity , along with His associates exist in their original spiritual forms that can not be compared to human forms , but a human form. nevertheless, is a reflection of a spiritual one although with many unsteady and unpredictable circumstances . So, although our material life is completely different , it still has considerable similarities to our spiritual form .
In this material world there is much beauty , much artistry , a huge range of beautiful emotions , a huge range of attractions , especially in the younger youthful bodies , ever enthusiastic and ever new enjoyment that can be experienced in countless ways in youth , but its just a flickering flavour of something , it cannot stay , and time takes youth and everything and everyone away . The movements of atomic particles and the deteriorating changing cells of a material body are the only real experiences we are having , it’s forced upon us , along with an unreliable mind and unsteady, unsure intelligence.
Time is conspicuous by its absence in the bodies or realms of Divinity, no atomic energies creating machines for consciousness to live in , rather consciousness itself expands into form , and exists in a realm of the same consciousness energies . There has never been a time that consciousness did not exist, nor in the future will it cease to be .
Einstein , Teller. Bohr , Schrödinger , and Feynman could understand some of these concepts , along with the vibrations of atoms and its many possibilities . Its amazing to think of our consciousness plugged into the atomic and classical world, and that we are situated on a machine made of the material energies, we are an observer of our own and others reflections of a reality, but underlying we are seeking a permanent situation of happiness . Two major events are always with us , to seek happiness and to avoid misery .
When we know for sure about our consciousness, and look away from an unsteady so called reality and cease to become absorbed in the flickering reflections , of our body and minds , then we make progress toward the permanent. The Vedas point us scientifically to its origins and the origins of consciousness . Any sane person should know the difference between the origin and a reflection , but being intoxicated with fake temporary enjoyments some stay in the mirrors of their minds .
om tad visno paramam padam sada pasyanti suraya diviva caksuratatam
This verse indicates that just as the sun rays are extended, they offer their benedictions and thus, everyone can see the world by the grace of the sun.
Similarly, those who are spiritually awake , have special insight , which means ,and it’s confirmed in every theological science that they can see Divinity, who is situated in everything and in everybody . By coming in touch , this widom and insights is transfered into a once dark heart , this is achieved by somebody who is respectfully inquiring and has a genuine appreciation for the self effulgent person. In so doing, we can receive blessings and well wishes from a pure hearted soul . Thus, the vision of the spiritual saints hearts can be reflected in our hearts .
In the material world everyone is stricken with subjective opinions , such misconceptions are carried with us from many lives , but the essence of all knowledge is simply how to love God . It does not take academia or even much study , it just takes humility and an obliging and loving attitude and a surrender of the false understanding of ourselves or our illusioned subjective thinking process
The essence of knowledge beauty and blissful life can be easily attained , its an uncovering process , beneath all our layers of doubt and misconceptions we will be able to find a spiritual realm . Divinity or Krishna and His associates are forever calling us , we must learn to recognise the call .
Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has made the whole process very easy.
Just chant any name of God , He is absolute , His name and form are identical , and He is fully present there .
The Hare Krishna Maha Mantra , or any names of God are spiritually surcharged and can easily award the highest perfection of understanding God , He becomes your friend, relative, master, father or even your lover , All names of God carry the callers to specific relationships with Him , along with His associates.
