Love is seen everywhere , in every species, we see affection and love , the founder Acarya of ISKCON AC Bhaktivedanta Swami makes this observation to his followers , and thus the Vedas teach humans are not alone in having souls . Who or what are the origins of these feelings, why should they be present in every heart ? The heartless Darwinian claims it’s a mechanism of survival of the fittest , a strange heartless conclusion.
The Vedas can help us understand the origins of love and playfulness , the ontological truths of love and how it decends and permeates the entire universe, is very clearly defined.
The three main personalities responsible for it origins and distribution are Lord Krishna, Srimati Radharani, and Lord Balarama, along with Their many expansions , who are expressing various degrees and different types and variations of love .
Although it’s said that Love is inherent within the soul , love is never a static or fixed , it has an unlimited expanding potential , that’s because the abode of love and the object of love are different . If the object of love is unlimited, this means there are unlimited possibilities within the abode of love . The chief personality who are the abode of love, is Srimati Radharani , who displays the highest degrees of love and is therefore considered the supreme Goddess of fortune . Balarama exhibits a different kind of love , but He also expands as Radharani’s sister to assist in Her love of Her eternal paramour Sri Krishna . So, the highest and most complete abode of love lies within the heart of Radharani . Both Radharani and Balarama are intimately connected to Krishna and , Their love for Him is incomprehensible . If we could acquire one drop of Radharanis’ love for Krishna , the whole of the universe would be inundated . Its unlimited in nature as much as Krishna is unlimited, so much so that in Radharanis case , Krishna is always trying to understand her supreme and ever expanding love . The object of love Krishna , can not understand Radharani’s heart, which is an abode of incompressible and unfathomable love .
Krishna comes to display to the devotees something of this incomprehensible love in His appearance as Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
Anyone who comes in touch with one of Radharanis intimate associates can aquire a tiny particle of a drop of the nectar ocean that is an unlimited tumultuous ocean of love which is the heart of Radharani , and as before said , just one drop of that ocean can drown the whole world in love of God .
Because there are arrangements between different personalities for transitioning of love , there are examples in the Vedas of one type of love developing or changing in nature, thus for example, Radharani may give permission for one of Balaramas associates who understand love the way Radharani does , and allow them to enter into Her loving domain.
Or someone from Vaikuntha who has love with awe and reverence may trancend the awe and reverence and experiences spontaneous love , this all happens by association.
Thus, we are not dead stones ,and love is never limited and can be transitional.
The Personality of Godhead is perfect and complete, and because He is completely perfect, all emanations from Him, such as this phenomenal world, are perfectly equipped as complete wholes. Whatever is produced of the Complete Whole is also complete in itself. Because He is the Complete Whole, even though so many complete units emanate from Him, He remains the complete balance.
The qualified and authentic Brahminical intelligentsia have properly understood matter and consciousness and accept and can see logically and scientifically that the inconceivable energies of our universal affairs appear to work in set orderly ways , and naturally they conclude that what Krishna clearly says in Bhagavad Gita can be seen to happen , intelligence is at work .
The Brahminical thinkers also accept that such intelligence behind the universal order would be rationale and thus obviously wish to communicate with other living beings , and to that end put in place different measures or systems for that to be achieved , so open communications can be acheived.
Inspiration and revelation , which in turn can take the form of written words , should obviously be accepted as a possibility, as much as anyone on any given topic , who has genuinely understood or have found new original insights it will be able to communicate it to others .
Michael Behe from the intelligent design movement has nicely coined the phrase “irreducible complexity.”
I think the above verse from Sri Isopanisad concurs with his thinking, and Behe being an intelligent and spiritual person seems to have been inspired by Divinity Himself to come up with that phrase.
The Vedas fully elaborate on how subjective evolution takes place , meaning a mental state is responded to by a universal machine , which in turn offers specific tailored material bodies, minds, and intellects to suit .
The mechanistically driven chance affairs , minus outside agencies , of being a specific cause of anything , the Darwinian veiw , is deemed illogical and objectively unscientific. In other words, it remains clearly subjective speculation.
There are many mysterious ways that the machines of the body are manufactured. Here is one such example.
“In biological organisms, amino acids appear almost exclusively in the left-handed form (L-amino acids) and sugars in the right-handed form (R-sugars). Since the enzymes catalyze reactions, they enforce homochirality on a great variety of other chemicals, including hormones, toxins, fragrances, and food flavors.”
Enforce implies an enforcer , an engineer who is making distinctive plans , and it, of course, baffling why chirality functions in these ways .
Protestant , Catholic , Suni , Shiiat , Zionist Rabbi , Smarta Brahmana , of a cast system , or a brahmana by quality, and not birth.
All the above categories can be properly thought of in context.
Not all men are at the stage of pure devotional service to the Lord .
Some have devotional attitudes mixed with many other motives , political or personal , which are naturally reflected in societies and the religions they follow .
Birds of feathers flock together. The Vedas , being extremely broad, can incorporate all motivated persons as well as pure persons and put them into four categories, and bring relative connections between them all .
The categories are Karma yogis …jnana yogic …astanga yogis and pure Bhakti Yogis ..
Each of the four categories of persons have many subdivisions , according to their progress and abilities to take spiritual understanding to greater levels along with dedication and devotion towards Divinity.
The pure “person Bhagavat”, is the personification of the Srimad Bhagavatam , who is in the Gaudia Vaisnava disciplic succession , they are extremely well versed in the Vedas , and can takes into account time place and circumstances , when it comes to application of the Bhāgavatam and they will be able to give a thorough analysis of all topics within.
Krishna says in 7th chapter of Bhagavad Gita..
TEXT 16: O best among the Bhāratas, four kinds of pious men begin to render devotional service unto Me – the distressed, the desirer of wealth, the inquisitive, and he who is searching for knowledge of the Absolute.
TEXT 17: Of these, the one who is in full knowledge and who is always engaged in pure devotional service is the best. For I am very dear to him, and he is dear to Me.
TEXT 18: All these devotees are undoubtedly magnanimous souls, but he who is situated in knowledge of Me I consider to be just like My own self. Being engaged in My transcendental service, he is sure to attain Me, the highest and most perfect goal
.TEXT 19: After many births and deaths, he who is actually in knowledge surrenders unto Me, knowing Me to be the cause of all causes and all that is. Such a great soul is very rare.
TEXT 20: Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.
It’s is absolutely vital to find a pure representative of God , the person Bhagavat , because they can correctly assess someone who claims purity ….there are many who pose as devotees who are actually demons .
Thus, the checks and balances are needed from . Bone fide Gurus , bone fide saints, and theological texts .
The pure teachers and the pure teachers from the past , along with the scriptures consisting of the Sruti and Smriti understandings, will help us .
But equally, we should be able to ,with the help of the above three , identity and avoid those that will do us harm.
The demoniac person thinks: So much wealth do I have today, and I will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it will increase in the future, more and more. He is my enemy, and I have killed him; and my other enemy will also be killed. I am the lord of everything, I am the enjoyer, I am perfect, powerful and happy. I am the richest man, surrounded by aristocratic relatives. There is none so powerful and happy as I am. I shall perform sacrifices, I shall give some charity, and thus I shall rejoice. In this way, such persons are deluded by ignorance.
“At a public engagement in Austin, Texas, President Biden warned that U.S. courts were being weaponized to push an “extreme and unchecked” conservative agenda, and he said he would push for legislation that would reform the Supreme Court, including imposing term limits and creating an enforceable code of ethics for the justices.”
New York Times reporting , is this what the president of the ” free world ” really wants , it seems so, no wonder we have an unethical war in Israel under Biden ,he has made no real serious objections , his Nato expansion plans and his war in Ukraine are highly criticised by many leading scholars, democracy can be fools voting in fools , the results will be much suffering.
The Vedic system of Governance is always led by the intelligentsia, and not the political class who are too reliant on big business to support their political ambitions , and ultimately the results are the political classes havd an agenda set for them by their donors , and lobby groups.
Thus democracy is failing the people worldwide. it’s full of dubious methods, and practically ballet box results are not trusted anymore , even in the USA .Big media bodies pump political messages that many people swallow , the narratives are generally most questionable , and one wonders the legitimacy of modern democracy.
The original varna ashram system of the Vedas needs to be seriously looked at, and revival of this type of political system could be good for the people good for the environment and good for all creatures living , its based on the right person doing the right job , and would never have a money man, although he has his place , see to the sensitive needs of all that live, the money men thinks of money money money brighter than sunshine sweeter than honey
Hagel is the great philosophical thinker , his studies of the metaphysical and the ontological realities of life can be a useful guide to us , unfortunately those who have been taught scientific materialism since childhood, tend to forget these great historical thinkers and , being educationally overwhelmed are drowned in a Darwinian educational systems that present hypothesis as fact based science.
Everything for Itself is describing the Absolute Autocrate , Divinity Himself, the cause of all causes . The whole of the cosmos , atoms, elements, compounds, and light itself as well as the the particles of consciousness that are expanded from one source . Everything ultimately has to have a source , But in the case of Divinity , there has never been a time He did not exist.
Under his supervision, and because He is all good, what’s going on in each individual’s life if fitting for a specific purpose. There is no point in our tiny selves thinking we may know something of the karmic synchronicities of countless particals of consciousness , i.e., the living entitles.
This is a macro observation standpoint , the workings of a multidimensional universes , naturally the micro standpoint is extremely limited, for instance, microbes are seen to act intelligently, but do you think one microbe could ever grasp or understand the intelligence of Einstein or Bohr Schrödinger ,Teller or Feynman .
Epistemological systems are described in the Vedas , that the supreme consciousness can make Himself personally known to individual tiny consciousness particles is inconceivable, as much as Einstein making himself known to a microbe would be , but the fact is Divinity can do so , just how this is so is written in detail throughout the Vedas including Bhagavad Gita .
The Vedas indicate that the sun is devolved from the brahmajyoti , which is an effulgent light emnating from the higher spiritual plane . Matter is also ultimately devolved from the brahmajyoti .
The vedic term is the Mahatattva with light along with electro magnetism developing and expanding from atomic form into the various elements , compounds, molecules . The following may give scientific evidence of how electrons play a part , we know electrons are invigorated by photons of light .
“The atoms of many elements can combine to form compounds. Individual, isolated units of compounds are considered molecules. The atoms in most molecules are held together by strong, attractive forces called chemical bonds. These bonds are formed through the interaction of valence electrons of the combining atoms.
In chemistry and physics, valence electrons are electrons in the outermost shell of an atom, and can participate in the formation of a chemical bond if the outermost shell is not closed. In a single covalent bond, a shared pair forms with both atoms in the bond, each contributing one valence electron.
When a semiconductor absorbs a photon, the energy of the photon can be transferred to an electron as potential energy. When the electron loses potential energy, the semiconductor can account for the energy difference by emitting a photon. The same thing is true for electrons. Photons, of course, don’t have any mass. ”
So the above indicates the Vedas parallels all these truths , the photons are light particles , the Vedas say the whole material universe is situated on and emnates from the brahmajyoti , which the sun is devolved from . The sun in real terms is little understood , for instance no one knows why its so cool near its surface , and how it maintains its consistent temperature, only we think its like this because of …….The sun is the origin of light and the electrical charges within the atomic particles , these truths of atomic energies, light and electro magnetism , as Maxwells law indicates as being combined and interactive strongly parallel the teachings of the Vedas and indicates the true worth of the Vedas . The many possibilities of quantum mechanics are also discussed in the sense of arrangements of matter , the gross energies follow automatically the ethereal and subtle actions of the consciousness within matter the origins of matter as before said stems from the Brahmajyoti .
Everything depends on chemical bonds. Without chemical bonds, everything would fall apart. And yet, scientists don’t entirely understand how chemical bonding works.
The main reason chemical bonding isn’t well understood is that the processes happen on such a small scale. But atoms and their bonds aren’t just tiny, they’re also unruly. Atoms don’t like to sit still
Modern Darwinian thinkers like to combine chemistry and physics of all kinds , they neatly call it selectorism….but select implies a selector…an intelligence to select….a correct practical selection ….simple for the simple …In logical terms , whenever we see smoke we know there is fire …..
Atoms are the basis for all visible objects , for instance…
Atoms come in many different elements: oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, gold, uranium, etc. An individual atom is far too small to be seen with an ordinary microscope, but if you get enough atoms in one place, you will have something you can see. For example, there are around 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1020) atoms in a grain of sand.
The whole creation is there. Yasya prabhā prabhavataḥ (Bs. 5.40).
On account of the bodily rays of Kṛṣṇa, Govinda, which is called brahmajyoti… on account of the sunshine, the whole universe exists. So similarly, there is a bodily shining, what is called brahmajyoti. So when the brahmajyoti is there, then innumerable universes are created. Yasya prabhā prabhavataḥ (Bs. 5.40)” Bramha Samita
“A group of scientists say they have found new evidence to back up their theory that complex life on Earth may have begun 1.5 billion years earlier than thought.
The team, working in Gabon, say they discovered evidence deep within rocks showing environmental conditions for animal life 2.1 billion years ago.”
The book by Druta Karma and Dr Richard Thompson, called the hidden history of the human race, records many archaeological anomalies. The point is that like Darwinian hypothesis, there is an awful lot of guessing and uncertainty in the world of archaeology.
According to the Vedas, modern anatomical man has been around for millions of years and it suggests we should not at all rely on Darwinian speculations when it comes to the history of the human race or speciation.
The material worlds are constantly fluctuating, and volcanic activity and cyclic movements are recycling materials , replenishing and renewing the goodness that is consumed by all the creatures who live in their enviroments , not by chance, but by design .
The supreme engineer, not only engineering the bodies , but combining nature together so everything depends on something or somebody else .
The Darwinian trying to convince everybody by their speculative meanderings that this all began from s primordial soup that somehow self arranged itself to the tree of life , problems occur when no linear records are seen , and so Stephen Gould declares no tree of life more like a bush , or his further speculations are called punctuated equilibrium.
As time goes on, perfect math perfect codes and intricate design is seen even in the microbial world , giving rise to Michael Behe’s irreducible complexity theory.
Krishna declares in His Bhagavad Gita that He is the knower of all bodies , and one who knows He knows is in knowledge.
Life is made as such that rendering service is a fundermental and underlying principle , indirectly or directly practically all beings are serving somebody , or unknowingly playing a part in the harmonious and interconnected activities of nature .
It’s a universal law , according to the Vedas that if anybody takes a service from someone , and this applies throughout the whole of the material universes , or if they use somebody in any particular way a debt is owed , you can’t get something for nothing.
Ultimately, all kinds of debts are building up in our Karmic systems, which are carried with us and remain with us throughout our universal journey of fruitive work . For those that don’t properly reciprocate a service rendered , debts build up and need paying back . That is technically called karma, and the karmic synchronicities of life play out in the unpredictability of our lives , of long forgotten debts , like twigs floating in a fast flowing river debts and debtors are brought together then parted , never to meet again .
The ultimate service rendered to everyone is by Divinity Himself , as the supersoul or Holy Ghost , in everyone’s heart He facilitates the individual being , giving them remberance and forgetfulness and reminding them life after life of what they once desired as well as encouraging everyone to aquire the real wisdom and knowledge , and to escape the plane of thd karmic self centred word , with the temporary lives of material debtors . The greatest service is to show everyone what their best interests are , and how that can be achieved , God is always rendering that service, and so are His pure representatives . He remaines in the hearts of all beings whilst they wonder all over the universe in different situations looking for happiness and patiently waits for everyone to see sense and return back home back to Godhead
Ultimately , because by His own example He renders the greatest of all services, we should reciprocate with Him and hear from Him how we might reciprocate with Love , and render some services bringing happiness to Him along with His associates. The greatest of all service is rendered by the Supreme Goddess of fortune Srimati Radharani and the Gopies and Manjaris , her confidants, they are residents of Vrndavana.
This is carefully described by Sukadeva Goswami in the 10th Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam and elaborated upon in the commentaries of the Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas in their writings .
Space time continuum , as Albert Einstein coined it , means in Vedic terms , your consciousness of a long distant past , your consciousness at present, and your consciousness far into the future are all inextricably entangled both within matter , which the Vedas define as meaning both the lower , middle, or upper planetary systems , and in an allocated time period of the particular matter you find yourself in . Time interactions differ in all the planetary systems and also within the 8,400,000 species throughout the universe.
The interesting observations by Vedic calculations are , what you have done in the past , effects the happenings of today , what you do today may also affect what previous actions might have been delivered , but according to sacrifices might not be delivered . Further entanglements in a future time are constantly being worked into the ethereal plane , so your next destination is already taking shape . So, inconceivably and imperceptibly we can in the here and now change what our past might have delivered , either , something auspiciousness or something inauspicious .
The question might be posed : Is there a way out ?
Do we want a way out ?
How much space is available for consciousness to explore?
How many different types of bodies are available?
Is there a difference across the universes of space in the way time and matter work ?
Are there different planes of existence ie. Gross or subtle or ethereal, and does this constitute multidimensional space time, as spoken about by the Harvard Prof Lisa Randall.?
The vedas and the Srimad Bhagavatam give answers to all these questions
The Acaryas of Gaudia Vaisnavism stress the importance of the Srimad Bhagavatam they encourage us to bring every aspect of our lives , wherever we find ourselves , within the purview of its teachings . Harmonizing ourselves even if there appears discord , with Divinity directly or indirectly. every aspect of life . Spiritual and material goals can be linked nicely together, be it social, political, artistic economic , any one of the sciences , all can be expertly linked with the Bhagavatam. The writing of AC Bhaktivedanta Swami are especially directed at a Western audience , he expertly addresses modern life and how to harmonize everything with the Vedas . Vedic literatures are so very broad . Vedic logic and rationality brings one to the understanding everyone is on an independent journey accompanied by their own free will that’s wired into a material responsive universe . Included are various levels of educational systems, a systematic purification is in operation as well as compliance and an obvious need for governance , to ensure a degree of order . This to facilitate the unlimited consciousness sparks who endeavour for independence from Divinity , using their God-given free will .
Bhagavad Gita itself , clearly defines the differences in the psychology of individuals who are situated within material nature , where the living entitles can operate outside of Divinity. Three modes of nature goodness, passion, and ignorance , these are mixes of different types of consciousness that unlimitedly influence the conscious beings on a gross and subtle level , if we take math , 3×3 = 9 , 9×9 = 81 , 81×81 = 65610 ad infinitum , thus multitudes of mentalities.
So, like an artists pallet with three primary colours , consciousness is constantly being churned , influenced, and entangled in the complexity of material nature. Accordingly, Divinity has methods that He sets out in the Vedas , which are the breathing and direction of Visnu , to begin to disentangle all beings from their struggle within material nature , its done either gradually , or in quicker ways . Currently , Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has offered immediate relief and access to the highest of all spiritual realms, a rather special benediction , involving understanding the inner most hearts of the most intimate devotees of God .
Expert and thoughtful men, relish Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, the mature fruit of the desire tree of Vedic literatures. It emanated from the lips of Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī. Therefore this fruit has become even more tasteful, although its nectarean juice was already relishable for all, including liberated souls.
PURPORT
In the two previous ślokas it has been definitely proved that the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the sublime literature which surpasses all other Vedic scriptures due to its transcendental qualities. It is transcendental to all mundane activities and mundane knowledge. In this śloka it is stated that Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is not only a superior literature but is the ripened fruit of all Vedic literatures. In other words, it is the cream of all Vedic knowledge. Considering all this, patient and submissive hearing is definitely essential. With great respect and attention, one should receive the message and lessons imparted by the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
The Vedas are compared to the desire tree because they contain all things knowable by man. They deal with mundane necessities as well as spiritual realization. The Vedas contain regulated principles of knowledge covering social, political, religious, economic, military, medicinal, chemical, physical and metaphysical subject matter and all that may be necessary to keep the body and soul together. Above and beyond all this are specific directions for spiritual realization. Regulated knowledge involves a gradual raising of the living entity to the spiritual platform, and the highest spiritual realization is knowledge that the Personality of Godhead is the reservoir of all spiritual tastes, or rasas.
The sum total of all these rasas is called affection or love. Primarily, such signs of love are manifested in adoration, service, friendship, paternal affection, and conjugal love. And when these five are absent, love is present indirectly in anger, wonder, comedy, chivalry, fear, shock and so on. For example, when a man is in love with a woman, the rasa is called conjugal love. But when such love affairs are disturbed there may be wonder, anger, shock, or even horror. Sometimes love affairs between two persons culminate in ghastly murder scenes. Such rasas are displayed between man and man and between animal and animal. There is no possibility of an exchange or rasa between a man and an animal or between a man and any other species of living beings within the material world. The rasas are exchanged between members of the same species. But as far as the spirit souls are concerned, they are one qualitatively with the Supreme Lord. Therefore, the rasas were originally exchanged between the spiritual living being and the spiritual whole, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The spiritual exchange or rasa is fully exhibited in spiritual existence between living beings and the Supreme Lord.
The Supreme Personality of Godhead is therefore described in the śruti-mantras, Vedic hymns, as “the fountainhead of all rasas.” When one associates with the Supreme Lord and exchanges one’s constitutional rasa with the Lord, then the living being is actually happy.
These śruti-mantras indicate that every living being has its constitutional position, which is endowed with a particular type of rasa to be exchanged with the Personality of Godhead. In the liberated condition only, this primary rasa is experienced in full. In the material existence, the rasa is experienced in the perverted form, which is temporary. And thus the rasas of the material world are exhibited in the material form of raudra (anger) and so on.
Therefore, one who attains full knowledge of these different rasas, which are the basic principles of activities, can understand the false representations of the original rasas which are reflected in the material world. The learned scholar seeks to relish the real rasa in the spiritual form. In the beginning he desires to become one with the Supreme. Thus, less intelligent transcendentalists cannot go beyond this conception of becoming one with the spirit whole, without knowing of the different rasas.
In this śloka, it is definitely stated that spiritual rasa, which is relished even in the liberated stage, can be experienced in the literature of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam due to its being the ripened fruit of all Vedic knowledge. By submissively hearing this transcendental literature, one can attain the full pleasure of his heart’s desire. But one must be very careful to hear the message from the right source. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is exactly received from the right source. It was brought by NāradaMuni from the spiritual world and given to his disciple Śrī Vyāsadeva. The latter in turn delivered the message to his son Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī, and Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī delivered the message to MahārājaParīkṣit just seven days before the King’s death. Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī was a liberated soul from his very birth. He was liberated even in the womb of his mother, and he did not undergo any sort of spiritual training after his birth. At birth no one is qualified, neither in the mundane nor in the spiritual sense. But Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī, due to his being a perfectly liberated soul, did not have to undergo an evolutionary process for spiritual realization. Yet despite his being a completely liberated person situated in the transcendental position above the three material modes, he was attracted to this transcendental rasa of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is adored by liberated souls who sing Vedic hymns. The Supreme Lord’s pastimes are more attractive to liberated souls than to mundane people. He is of necessity not impersonal because it is only possible to carry on transcendental rasa with a person.
In the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam the transcendental pastimes of the Lord are narrated, and the narration is systematically depicted by Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī. Thus the subject matter is appealing to all classes of persons, including those who seek liberation and those who seek to become one with the supreme whole.
In Sanskrit the parrot is also known as śuka. When a ripened fruit is cut by the red beaks of such birds, its sweet flavor is enhanced. The Vedic fruit which is mature and ripe in knowledge is spoken through the lips of Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī, who is compared to the parrot not for his ability to recite the Bhāgavatam exactly as he heard it from his learned father, but for his ability to present the work in a manner that would appeal to all classes of men.
The subject matter is so presented through the lips of Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī that any sincere listener that hears submissively can at once relish transcendental tastes which are distinct from the perverted tastes of the material world. The ripened fruit is not dropped all of a sudden from the highest planet of Kṛṣṇaloka. Rather, it has come down carefully through the chain of disciplic succession without change or disturbance. Foolish people who are not in the transcendental disciplic succession commit great blunders by trying to understand the highest transcendental rasa known as the rāsa dance without following in the footsteps of Śukadeva Gosvāmī, who presents this fruit very carefully by stages of transcendental realization. One should be intelligent enough to know the position of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam by considering personalities like Śukadeva Gosvāmī, who deals with the subject so carefully. This process of disciplic succession of the Bhāgavata school suggests that in the future also Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam has to be understood from a person who is factually a representative of Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī. A professional man who makes a business out of reciting the Bhāgavatam illegally is certainly not a representative of Śukadeva Gosvāmī. Such a man’s business is only to earn his livelihood. Therefore one should refrain from hearing the lectures of such professional men. Such men usually go to the most confidential part of the literature without undergoing the gradual process of understanding this grave subject. They usually plunge into the subject matter of the rāsa dance, which is misunderstood by the foolish class of men. Some of them take this to be immoral, while others try to cover it up by their own stupid interpretations. They have no desire to follow in the footsteps of Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī.
One should conclude, therefore, that the serious student of the rasa should receive the message of Bhāgavatam in the chain of disciplic succession from Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī, who describes the Bhāgavatam from its very beginning and not whimsically to satisfy the mundaner who has very little knowledge in transcendental science. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is so carefully presented that a sincere and serious person can at once enjoy the ripened fruit of Vedic knowledge simply by drinking the nectarean juice through the mouth of Śukadeva Gosvāmī or his bona fide representative.
