Both Lord Sri Krishna and Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu acted in similar ways , but Krishna predominantly in Union with the residents of Vraja and Sri Caitanya in separation from them . Krishna also exhibited separation from Vraja in His Dwarka lila pastimes , but again, in His Kurukshetra lila , He met them all again .
In trancendental tattva in the highest trancendental realms, the two opposites meet .The Tattva of Union and separation are elaborately explained by all our Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas.
When Krishna was carrying out lila pastimes , he danced in the forests of Vrndavana, He gave counselling to the Pandavas , the residents of Vraja and the residents of Dwarka, and famously He gave counsel to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu also carried out similar activities, giving counsel, preaching and teaching Krishna consciousness within all kinds of society members from the greatest of the scholars of the day to the general public by His chanting and dancing that everyone could access . In the house of Srinivasa Acarya, deep meditative chanting behind closed doors where union and separation became one in esoteric Kirtan of the highest orders , spilt out into the towns and villages of Mayapur and in other parts of India , and the process of how to systematically advance in Krishna consciousness began to be taught to one and all . In Jagganath Puri towards the end of Mahaprabhu’s lila He exhibited the highest realms of the Vrndavana lilas by revealing some of the glories of Srimati Radharani in Her moods of separation from Krishna , the Caitanya Caratamrita brings full details of the glories of Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
Devotees of the highest order appeared with Mahāprabhu, as they did with Krishna . So , both in Krishna lila in Union with the residents of Vraja and in separation within Mahāprabhu lilas in Mayapur and Jagganath Puri , the devotees exhibited these moods of Union and separation .
The current devotees follow Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu and become absorbed in their preaching activities, but who are they preaching about ?
Thus, the most advanced preachers are living in two lilas, the lila of Mahāprabhu in Mayapur and Puri and the Lila of Krishna and the residents of Vraja . The Acaryas have written on the daily activities of Krishna in Vraja and the daily activities of Mahāprabhu and demonstrated this union and separation tattva .
Translation The Supreme Lord is situated in everyone’s heart, O Arjuna, and is directing the wanderings of all living entities, who are seated as on a machine, made of the material energy.
Krishna has spoken clearly objective science, and by scientific exploration of mind , matter, and consciousness, this scientific truth, as it is , is discovered and understood . There is much evidence in the world , clear evidence of precision engineering and perfection in engineering design. Consciousness exploration and psychological sciences and the subtle energies bring further evidence of how the machine of the body is carrying consciousness . Life comes from life .
The scientific community convinces itself, and others, it is bringing education to mankind , but education means you must know a topic . If you don’t know the topic , then admit it’s guessing . In the case of scientific materialism and Darwinian hypothesis, it’s bad guessing and not scientifically led objective observations.
What do they refer to as education ? Basically, accepting, without any real evidence, random mutations originating from the primordial soup , the common ancestor model , of microbes spilling out of chemicals . Although they cannot bind chemical combinations in synthetic chemistry very easily at all , little success . The dna coding and the informational exchanges by mrna molecules are akin to highly sophisticated engineering technologies and are producing the protein like machines in the cells and specifically shaping them using those codes producing bodies in every species of life . Its the inherant nature of consciousness to love and be loved .
The origins of these feelings stem from Divinity… The further one strays from Divinity, then love turns to lust . The lust to be an independent enjoyer, it’s an artificial and impossible position. Divinity Himself is the supreme autocrat and the most giving person when it comes to love no one can give more or receive more . Although some say in trancendental tattva that the Supreme Goddess of fortune is the supreme giver and recipient of love , and Krishna is searching searching searching, there is an eternal competition of love , Hare Krishna means an exchange of love .
From the Vedic perspective, we can chime with those who advocate traditional theological cultures and family traditions . But equally, the Vedic students understand the principles of non-violence . In Vedic terms, it means all around non violence, and to every living being . The Vedic students are strict vegetarians , but putting that to one side , any Christian, Hindu , Muslim or Jew who is not calling out recent murderous campaign’s in Gazza and Africa by out of control atheistic leaders , or of those that may in their madness convince themselves God is on my side , killing women and children with no regrets , they are at times seriously misguided in their approach to scriptures . Divinity is the original energetic source, and His energies are of various kinds, ”Parāsya śaktir vividhaiva śrūyate” |”the Lord has a multitude of energies, and therefore He acts in multifarious ways.” The individual particles of consciousness scattered by their own desires throughout the multidimensional universes are referred to as the marginal energies of the Lord . The responsive universes that capture them within the many possibilities of an atomic realm are the inferia energies of the Lord . One fragmental particle of consciouseness is facilitated by another conscious being . Divinity is everyones origins , as much as the sun is the origins of the photons of light particles . Living beings have the same consciousness energies as Divinity, but are microscopic when compared to Gods unlimited energies . Each living being express differently their individuality , both in the spiritual and material world . The material world is utilising material atomic electromagnetic energies . ” When energy separates from its source, it becomes dissipated, meaning it transforms into a less useful or “wasted” form, most often as heat, though sometimes as sound. This dissipated energy spreads out and is transferred to the surroundings, becoming difficult to use for other purposes, even though the total amount of energy is conserved.
“ This scientific perspective is also applicable to spiritual consciousness . If it leaves the association of Divinity, the potential of consciousness is dissipated as it enters the self-centred material world, and its spiritual bliss is covered by any number of material combinations of matter . Today, on Srila Jagganatha das Babajis’ Appearance day we can remember the trancendental position and importance of both Diksa and Siksa Gurus.
Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur was a Siksa disciple of Srila Jagganatha das Babaji, who was in turn a Diksa disciple of Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur, he in turn was a Siksa disciple of Srila Narottama das Thakur, even though Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur had been born after Srila Narottama had departed the world. The Diksa Gurus of both Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur and Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur were also greatly respected by them .
The importance of understanding Diksa Siksa tattva is important, and Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami in his books refers to it .
When understanding Guru tattva, we must always refer to Sastra . Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja says the Guru is self effulgent to the sincere prospective disciple.
Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur says in his commentary in Srila Ragganatha das Goswami’s Mana Siksa that we should regard the Goswami’s taught personally by Mahāprabhu as our own personal Siksa Gurus

Material energies are complicated and are plugged into our consciousness. Karmic synchronicities of all kinds are played out , although little free will and deterministic consequences can change . The responsive universe sucks one in, and innumerable entanglements are in fast mode beyond the comprehension of any Ai modelling creators. That’s the nature of the material world , every theologically driven culture knows it, and the Vedas examines it in detail. Therefore simple living high thinking is the Vedic way , the peaceful way , and the most progressive and rewarding way for mankind. The complications come in life when we separate ourselves from the obvious intelligently made arrangements in nature . The Renaissance period tries to separate the arts, philosophy, and political structures from its intended connections , Divinity, and higher consciousness. Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur was a magistrate who worked for the British Raja in the earlier part of his life during the later part of the 19th century. He was also a prolific writer and philosopher in his youthful days . As he grew older, he became more and more drawn toward the teachings of Gaudia Vaisnavism and particularly the conclusions that were presented by Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Mahaprabhu had brought new insights into the trancendentally mysterious lives of the Gopies of Vrndavana. He revealed to the world the supreme position of the Supreme Goddess of Fortune Srimati Radharani.
At first , Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur was puzzled about the extraordinary wonders of Caitanya Mahāprabhu , who was known to be a great scholar and Pandit . Mahaprabhu was most definitely a first-class scholar who could , for instance, explain the Srimad Bhagavatam Atmarama verse in 108 ways , which astounded all the Vedic intelligentsia . However Srila Bhaktivinod thought it , at least initially strange , that later in Mahāprabhu’s life , He had became so absorbed in the meditations and pastimes of Lord Krishna in Vrndavana , those of Sri Sri Radha Krishna which appeared , at least externally , as being quite immoral , Srila BR Sridhar Swami tells us these recollection of the life of the Thakur.
Indeed , Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja , the son of Srila Bhaktivinod , was once questioned by Lord Suthers , who was a British government minister in the early part of the 20th century . Lord Suthers made the point in a question, ” That your Lord Krishna appears to be quite immoral. How is it that He is worshipped as God ? ” Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja gave the perfect answer ……”that Lord Krishna’s activities in Vrndavana were a display of the highest morality.”
There are two verses , one in the Srimad Bhagavatam and one in the Caitanya Caratamrita scriptures that need understanding in depth along with their purpose . When one is able , after much practice of devotional life and by the causeless mercy of a devotee of Sri Caitanya , understand these two verses the mysterious nature of Gaudia Vaisnavism may open up .

Anyone who faithfully hears or describes the Lord’s playful affairs with the young gopīs of Vṛndāvana will attain the Lord’s pure devotional service. Thus, he will quickly become sober and conquer lust, the disease of the heart.
One should consult the mature Gaudia Vaisnava about these two verses and their trancendental mysteries and how the two verses can be reconciled.
It is a fact in current times liberalism has run wild , so practically speaking, how can one properly practice spiritual life in the Western world.
Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Goswami Maharaja gave insights and instructions. He would say all the beautiful ladies who are in this world in their spiritual beauty should go to Krishna. They have temporary borrowed plumes originating from Srimati Radharani from a higher spiritual realm . Such a reflection is a temporary show , borrowed plumes from an eternal reality , where diamonds are on show and not broken glass . This trancendentally beauty and its playground can be understood with purified trancendental senses , senses that are engaged in eternal sacrifice , with no separate interest other than serving the emaculate senses of Krishna .There is a competition of love between Radha Krishna on full display. A perfect exhibition of the origins of romantic love in a spiritual plane where selfish materially motivated lust has no place
Ultimately, the Srimad Bhagavatam teaches us that in spiritual life, there are no voids or impersonal energies but rather everything there is full of beauty and spiritual varigatedness , Krishna is the Supreme Autocrat and He unlimitedly shares and exchanges trancendental bliss and beauty unlimitedly in ever new ways , known as anuraga , and in innumerable ways the trancendental blissful exchanges increase and increase.
In India, Srila Prabhupada had little details changed regarding Deity services than those he employed in the West , Prabhupada was conscious of local traditions and culture, particularly in Mayapur and Vrndavana.
Srila Haridas Thakur himself, although the most qualified to enter the temple of Lord Jagganath, did not do so ,because of his ” birth ” and certain sensitivity was shown by Srila Rupa and Sanantana Goswami’s because of their previous employer. Certainly, for preaching purposes, some degree of acknowledgement of local customs and cultural expectations should be considered.
The conclusions of the GBC in ISKCON to recognise the position of Siksa Guru is sastric and, of course, correct , the Diksa and Siksa are non different they represent Lord Krishna . Sastra says as advanced Krishna consciousness developments occur it is mostly the case a devotee will accept particular instructions needed for further advancements from a Siksa Guru who might be better placed to guide a specific disciple in deeper aspects of Krishna consciousness , but not in all cases , sometimes the Diksa Guru is also the predominant Siksa .a devotee has one Diksa Guru, but there are no limits to Siksa . The sastra sanga is also Siksa , thus, Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur commented that one should accept the Goswami’s as one’s own personal Siksa Guru.
What’s important is the instructions and inspiration and the flow of trancendental Bhakti from one heart to another , and in trancendental tattva space time are of no consequence , if the consciousness is pure , humble and trained by the current links mercy decends in many ways. The fact that the GBC in current times has taken into consideration Indian culture and, as such, placed on hold official Diksa services for ladies is not a major problem , providing it is for that purpose and not the purposes of downgrading ladies as inferia to men .The GBC appears to recognise the lady Siksa, who in many cases could be more spiritually advanced than Diksa Guru, who is currently male . In my opinion, it could be that in the West , ladies could become both Diksa and Siksa Gurus because cultures differ, and it may increase ISKCON’S appeal . That’s because, for sure , and times move on , ladies play a more prominent role in societies. India will catch up to this reality, but not quite yet .
As Prabhupada did within Deities services , ie . There were slightly different standards regarding who could officially offer puja , mainly in Vrndavana and Mayapur , men can do so and not ladies , at least for the time being. This should also be considered and Diksa Guru services for ladies in India openly on show could be revisited in five years’ time .
In spiritual life …..
There is the psychological approach , the philosophical approach and the Rasika approach, one without the other is not the complete picture of Gaudia Vaisnavism.
Thus the pure representative of Krishna is perfectly accomplished in all three , their characteristics are sublime they are well versed in understanding applications of the Vedas in all its meanings and he or she is an intimate servant of the servants in the spiritual realms of Vraj. The Srimad Bhagavatam shows the importance of the philosophy of science , the Bhagavatam itself summarises and gives accurate explanations either directly or indirectly to all known , and as yet unknown aspects of science yet to be discovered .Those aspects are particularly in terms of the underlying intelligence within the universe as well as its working through various agencies and also the ethereal subtle plane that the atomic reals sit upon , the foundations of the elements and compounds that are visible in innumerable forms .
