The Vedas conclude by saying seek the association of those who discriminate between matter and consciousness , or spirit , such persons are worthy of our full attention, their calculations can easily be applied to every practical aspect of a progressive society, and not those of persons who are deeply entangled in the piety or impiety of this world who bring speculations , and who have no authority apart from their own uncontrolled mind and senses. So it was that the disciple of Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja, Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada stepped upon a boat in Calcutta and arrived at Boston USA in 1965 , the rest is history and the Hare Krishna maha mantra became practically a household word .
Srila Prabhupada himself said in a lecture ” who knew I would meet my Guru Maharaja, who knew I would come to the USA , who knew I would meet my disciples who were in every part of the world, these are all the arrangements of the supreme personality of Godhead.

The unthinking human who is living like a sophisticated animal without any philosophical position is in shrunken consciousness , The human who considers life and its purpose is considered to be in budding consciousness , the human who has realised some degree of the glory of consciousness in connections to Divinity is in blossoming consciousness , and finally, the human who has established a relationship in love with God is in fully blossoming consciousness.

An auspicious day indeed , Sri Guru represents the disciplic succession, Sri Guru has his Guru deeply embedded in his heart , but within such a Guru is the heart of his Guru , and within that Guru the heart of his Guru.
The importance of understanding our spiritual heritage and the specific teachings of all our Gaudia Vaisnava acaryas can not be minimised , and the trancendental services to Radha Krishna that stem from the teachings Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu gave the Goswami’s are played out in the heart of Sri Guru who comes in many forms both Diksa and Siksa . Some appearing as very prominent some less so , but for instance, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja heard his Diksa Guru recite a verse glorifying Srimati Radharani, and upon hearing his Guru an overwhelming realisation of his trancendental position was instilled into his heart .
In the past, misconceptions arose that of an over glorification of one Guru , without understanding Guru Tattva, so foolish was it that a prominent early member of ISKCON trampled on the books of Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja, saying only Prabhupada and his books need reading Prabhupada has said it all and into the future .
Although Prabhupada himself told all his disciples, they should write and publish their realisations. The misunderstandings were due to a fraudulent wish of taking power exclusively for themselves, that only one Guru , the Diksa has to be everything and holds everything in his hand , and there is no need to understand anything of traditions of disciplic succession and no need of any Siksa .Such immaturity has gradually faded , Sri Guru is our life and soul that’s a fact , but it’s to be understood in context.
Thus, on this day, it is good to take the view of our disciplic succession as a whole and realise space time has no place in trancendental affairs. Sri Guru is one who knows truth and all trancendental tattva
It seems democracies have hidden elements that we should be aware of . King Prithu, in the fourth Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam, speaks of leaders . One who supports and votes for a good King will benefit from what he does because the person voting for the king , thd king himself , or persons supporting him in his government also reap good benefits . However, if one votes or supports a bad leader , one will also be somewhat liable and reap the negative energies if bad leaders act against Dharma .. Thus, if you’re going to have democracies better, be sure who you cast your vote for because subtle implications affecting your own Karmic synchronicities are at play . The Krishna consciousness movement is educating everyone to know who is acting within Dharma and who is not . Obviously, in the present age, concessions are in place , for instance, an educated man receives many more severe reactions than an uneducated man within Karmic calculations .
