TEXT 20: Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.

The demoniac person thinks: So much wealth do I have today, and I will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it will increase in the future, more and more. He is my enemy, and I have killed him; and my other enemy will also be killed. I am the lord of everything, I am the enjoyer, I am perfect, powerful and happy. I am the richest man, surrounded by aristocratic relatives. There is none so powerful and happy as I am. I shall perform sacrifices, I shall give some charity, and thus I shall rejoice. In this way, such persons are deluded by ignorance.

What is your worldview, and just how was it formed and who has helped shape it ? Generally, of course you’re going to find many influences that make up your consciousness outlook , and the Vedas tell us , it’s not solely dependent on this one life . The contribution of family , friends, an educational system, your philosophical learning ,your theological pursuits , and the arts of all description will also shape your world veiw .One should ask oneself whether the teachers and various other influences that shaped your world veiw have been beneficial , and what kinds of impressions have they left, has everything been presented objectively or with subjective bias , many deceptive people live in our world so its healthy to take a step back and take a fresh look at sciences of all kinds as well as philisophical thinking and theologies. Political matters should not take the major portion of our time .
Many educated people think they have been trained in objective critical thinking for instance , but often, in reality, they look at the world and sciences through the prison house of subjective conditioning , taught to them by other subjective teachers , who are highly speculative. Science, for instance, should always be presented in objective ways and can never be presented as fact based when, in reality, it’s subjective opinions . Scientific materialism and Darwinian world veiws dominant the world , but they are based on guessing and the evidence of the origins of consciousness lay elsewhere.
When it comes to matters of philosophies, traditions , liberalism , or conservatism , plus family values , we should know liberal democracies consist of many, many unqualified persons supposedly making better policy . It seems inconceivably that so many countless trillions of individual particles of consciousness, all of whom are ultimately parts and parcels of God, find themselves in such a predicament . Everywhere you look, you will find such particles of consciousness, in the land , the sea , the air , outside of things , within things , and the Vedas indicates on every planet within the multidimensional universes and multiple universes. What are they all doing? what are they looking for ? why is each one in a specific position ? What or who is making such arrangements ?
Generally, when these types of questions come into people’s minds, they have no answer or they accept the Darwinian answer or the answer given by the impersonal following of Sankacarya or Buddha.
Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam give the fully comprehensive answer that incorporates unlimited time , unlimited material desires , unlimited searches and variations of sensual and spiritual experiences and the various mixes of them .

The individuals main purpose is to seek pleasures of all kinds and minimise suffering . In seeking pleasure, he wants beauty, influence, knowledge, wealth, and strength . Relatively speaking that can be found in any of the 8400000 species of life , and according to circumstances of our own making and our own complex inner minds and phycological make up, our consciousness and its actions and exchanges are automatically connected to the responsive universe of experiences . For instance if someone desperately wants experiences of control and manipulation of other , they can find themselves fully rewarded by being the lead fish in the Pacific ocean with thousands of fish following their every move , or they could find themselves as head of the upper planetary systems , depending on motives and purity of motivation our temporary next destination is chalked out .
A consciousness particle is eternal and can be eternally connected to matter , the experiences it has can never be repeated , otherwise consciousness would become stale and predictable. The ever new spiritual experiences of a soul are reflected within matter and the great provider Maha Visnu is providing such experiences, until such times when we desire to join the experiences of Divinity directly.
One must ask , if there is God, what does He do with His eternal time ?
Srila BR Sridhar Swami would say all discord is harmonized in the absolute. What is that discord? Conditioned nature or spiritual nature ? What is meant by someone’s nature ? In the material world ones nature is acquired by one’s own material actions generated by universal affairs in a responsive universe In the spiritual world, ones eternal and original spiritual nature is revealed when one gives up material nature .Spiritual life is an uncovering process, a cleansing of temporary nature acquired by ignoring the spiritual reality. Materisl natures can change , free will and choices change , conditioned nature is endlessly mutable , spiritual nature is dynamic ever increasing and permanently situated beyond atoms , elements, and compounds. Love, in its real form, is always increasing , to love and be loved is the inherant nature of the consciousness because we are part and parcels of Divinity who has this nature. All the spiritual natures, although sometimes appearing as discord, as the personality effect brings to the consciousness, are harmonized in the absolute . Everyone in the spiritual realms has pure intentions but different intentions towards Krishna , or God . Lord Balarama , who is Krishna’s first expansion , brings forth various expansions and multifarious energies , both spiritual and material in nature .Our conditioned minds and conditioned intelligences are part of His energies that make up our own subtle body . We have a gross and subtle body, but that is not our permanent condition but rather that material nature is forever in fluctuation , it responds to desire , the many possibilities of quantum physics, one could say is playing out . Balarama, through His expansions called Mula Sankarsan, Maha Sankarsan and Maha Visnu, and all his corresponding energies, both material and spiritual, serves Krishna in incalculable ways . Balarama is the original Guru for all beings, and the particles of eternal consciousness, the living beings, all expand from Him . Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead’s first expansion is Lord Balarama, and He is said to be non different that Krishna. Lord Balarama is the great servant of Kṛṣṇa and encourages us to follow in the service mode .

We can say one’s consciousness along with its activites from the past effects our present . The present will certainly effect our future , including the long distant future , however, destinations and destinies can be changed . What should have effected us because of the past , in present times , may not do so . The conclusion is our present activities can change what was going to be due from our past , won’t necessarily happen . Equally , our future activities can still be affected by both our long distant past as well as our present activity. Or the future will be predominantly affected by only the recent past and not a long distant past . In this way, the past , present, and future and our conscious actions are deeply entangled within space time . Its only our consciousness and the choices it makes and who it follows that cause all activities within spacetime or their influence can be reversed or halted . Thus, the Vedic veiw is Einstein was correct to say past , present and futures are intertwined , we can by our activites effect the past , but not necessarily step back into the past. However, because the material universes are cyclic, they are created maintained and destroyed time and time again , who is to say that history is not repeating itself over and over again but with some slight variations. It’s the modes of nature that are functional goodness, passion, and ignorance with practically unlimited consequences Bhagavad Gita indicates. No one can stop doing something for a moment. The main recommendation is … dont get entangled in all parts of the Vedas , but only the Bhakti yoga sastras .Rise above the material aspects of the Vedas .

Recently, studies show that male brains are typically 8-13% larger than female brains . This difference in size is not related to intelligence, as both male and female brains are, of course, similar . It’s also clear ladies and men are as equally intelligent in their own ways , intelligence differs according to one’s karmic position, and there are different types of intelligence. Unless one understands the conclusions of Bhagavad Gita, which is “Man mana bhava mad bhakto “ “Think of me and become my devotee.” These are the words of Krishna , one may be missing the essential messages He intends to give .
How to think of Krishna ? Being absorbed in the topmost levels of pure love in deep meditations have been demonstrated by Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu in his absorption of the mood of Srimati Radharani , the damsels of Vraj and their young assistants the Manjaris. This confidential truth of the life that Mahāprabhu lived and experienced was taught by Him to the Goswamis of Vrndavana headed by Srila Rupa Ragganatha . Krishna says in His Bhagavad Gita, ” Think of Me become My devotee” and Mahaprabhu by His practical example shows how . Mahaprabhu’s followers headed by Srila Rupa Ragganatha have recorded and delineated everything in their writings . One may miss out on the essence of Mahaprabhu’s ’ purposes for appearing and get caught up in the many peripheral aspects of a progressive path of spiritual life , Krishna also in His Bhagavad Gita chalked out many paths before coming to the essence. Likewise, Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu recognised in his conversation with Ramananda Roy these somewhat progressive paths … but kept saying ” This is good, but is there more “or ” that is also good, but is there more”
