One of the features of quantum physics is called ” instant communication.”
The Vedas has many parallels to these mathematically approved approaches to the reality of both matter , and the laws it might be locally subjected to , as well as the  differently situated states of matter  within the existences of multidimensional planes . Within this universe, as well as millions of others’ time and laws of nature, differ, says the Vedas , and theoretical physicists will not disagree. Methods of transfer from one dimention to another are also discussed by string theorists , quantum physicists, and theoretical physicists and, of course, within the Vedas. The ethereal planes and the subtle existences as well as  much finer Spiritual energies can move at , as Albert Einstein thought as like …..” Spooky action at a distance “….
So mind, no doubt, the fastest method of transport ,  a material mind is working at one speed ,  and a spiritual mind is able to traverse  even greater distances .The other aspects of instant communications comes about when understanding the oneness and difference of Divinity , in countless millions of the material universes , because they are expanded from one conscious source,  naturally this universal form of Divinity knows what one part of His body is doing and is fully conscious of it . You know when you have a feeling of hunger and at the same time an itchy foot .
The third Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam delves into some of these matters in detail.
Suffice to say , in regards to instant travel,  if you think about your favourite holiday destination and you are extremely familiar with its makeup and atmosphere, you have, in one sense, immediately arrived .
The yogic paths are methods, when perfected , of an easy transportation method,  thus easy journeys to other places or planets ….
