Protection…who goes there, friend or foe

The whole of the Vedic cultural social systems are based on protection from all kinds of harm . The head protects the body by utilising the brain power without the head , what  is the use of the arms or weapons of any kind . If we analyse every day life protection of one sort or another is at play.

We must identify the foe and seek to protect ourselves.

Bhagavad Gita 6.6 .

Gives us the clue ..Lord Krishna says .

“For him who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends; but for one who has failed to do so, his very mind will be the greatest enemy.”

Realising dualism, body, mind&consciousness

The Vedas indicates there is a connection between violence and lack of knowledge, a killer can never understand dualism in real terms.
Dualism is not an academic position but rather a realisation of consciousness and its equality and giving equal respect and rights to life .
Thus, theological cultures forbid killing as does the law .
The killer kills his passage to the realised knowledge of dualism.
The meat eater will find their realisations muddled and unclear , the vegetarians with other practices of non-violence will progress more easily on the path to realise dualism, otherwise known as Brahman realisation.

Having some faith in the vast range of theological and philosophically based cultures that are  thousands of years old and  having consideration for the logical and rational position that if Divinity exists, He must be the Supreme protectorate is intelligent.

Calling within ourselves for Divinity to inspire and give guidance is a perfectly natural thing to do , everyone turns themselves inward at times , the Vedas , as all theologies suggest,  you are not alone,  help of immeasurable capacity is always present and faith carries one along way
