Vedic Socialism is the Vedic way , a system of governance that produces social and spiritual mobility.
This system allows for honest, free market economics that is primarily locally based and  with only essentials imported.
Capitalism is sold as free market economics but is not so , monopolies are the global conglomerates strategy . Their narratives are sold to the public that they and their capitalism is creating wealth for all the world and lifting it out of poverty. Truth is, nature provides everything for every creature , every one is fed , clothed, and housed and live happily when they remain closely aligned to natures ways .

World wide trading , has become so ridiculous that someone in the UK exports popcorn to USA , or a person buying his bread in the UK has it brought by lorry hundreds of miles away  from his home town , and the wheat is imported from a country thousands of miles away . The major financial systems have become far too centralised and monopolised . The stock and currency markets, as well as worldwide commodities market and currency markets, have been designed to suit a few insiders , they are far from free markets . Central government allows light touch regulations  and plenty of instant internet trading goes on with shares rising or falling in micro seconds. For those who actually monopolise  such markets, they are doing very nicely, thank you , and they effectively have  centralised control. Capitalism has been sold as an idea that  greed is good and that the benefits of greed will trickle down to everyone all over the world. The reality is entirely different . Such ruthless capitalism benefits the most greedy of persons at the cost of the environment , it  causes unfair trade deals , it causes poverty and wars with every country fighting over limited resources that will inevitably run dry in no time.  Such unfortunate worldwide situations are instigated by the capitalist and their political freinds who are desperate for precious minerals and the like.
The unthinking capitalists should never have a free run and any influence in politics. Rather, the Vedic societies were thankful for money makers who built economies but legislated against them when encroachment was seen to be happening in any circumstances.
The communist idea was utilised in Vedic culture but in the sense of the equality of all beings , and the truth that ultimately everything is the property of God , and needs to be used in harmonious ways .
