Re women Diksa Gurus .
I think we should be sensitive to cultures and traditions…
In India Srila Prabhupada had a different approach to ladies being on the alter than in the west .
Thus Diksa Gurus in India, probably not , Diksa Gurus in the west , maybe ..
Bearing in mind , ISKCON have got ” all hung up ” on Diksa .
CC .Diksa Siksa no difference.
But also can be difference.
Ladies in ISKCON are already acting as Siksa Gurus, Krishna guides one to where you need to be ..
If one requires instruction from Sri Guru, who comes in many ways , Krishna makes such arrangements…
Srila Haridas Thakur and Rupa Goswami were sensitive to the externals that society imposes .
Srila Prabhupada was and is both Diksa and Siksa .. some Gurus are some not necessarily, depending on spiritual needs of their disciple,
Thus the emphasis in Gaudia Vaisnavism is Sadhu sanga and Sastra sanga by Sadhu sanga one’s qualifies oneself for Sastra sanga….
