Tumultuous ocean of spiritual emotions..

Vibhavas are the stimulants of emotions, anubhavas the physical responses that go with these emotional responses and vyabhichari bhavas are transitory emotions.

The trancendental personal realm of Divinity and the Supreme Goddess of fortune , who are described in the essence of the Vedic writing ,  the Sruti and Smriti , and are known as Radha Krishna , both of them live in a realm where emotions and feelings have no limits and are felt like the rising and falling of huge waves in a constantly churning tumultuous ocean of union and seperation,  both of which provide increasing bliss .

In trying to describe this trancendental ocean of spiritual emotions felt in one’s original spiritual body , and which , as the Bible says , man is made in the image of God , so spiritual existence is not an impersonal void , but rather a land of unlimited emotions and beauty,  we all love emotions , they are a reflection of spirituality , in trying to describe the indescribable,  Rupa Goswami has borrowed  from Bharat Muni and his Natya sastra .

Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu has specifically appeared in Kali yuga , the current age ,  to reveal and explain His teachings to His direct followers,  this great trancendental tumultuous ocean of spiritual emotions and the beauty therein.

It behoves every one of us to chase down these gems of wisdom that Mahāprabhu is revealing and distributing . The trancendental emotions are like diamonds,  the material emotions of family , friends , and bank balance are tiny ripples in a material temporary ocean that end up as a stagnant pond at death .

One  should cultivate , through the processes recommended by the Goswamis of Vrndavana ones sthya bhava ,
ones original attraction. Vibhavas are  described as the stimulus of trancendental emotion , by smaranam and intense meditation , through hearing and study of the works of The Goswamis and their following,  the trancendental world is brought to life , anubhava , are the physical or spiritual responses to such stimulus,  vyabhicari bhava , are the rising and falling of lesser spiritual emotions. Such as ..

Sneha… lit heart
Mana ..sulky anger
Pranaya ..oneness
Raga ..critical blame
Anugaga …newer and newer

Systematic progressive meditations

From
Smarana..slight seeking
Dharana ..holding trancendental forms in the heart
Dhyana  holdings specific  lilas in the heart .
Dhruvasmrti specific  uninterrupted lila .

Such is the nature of the writings of the Vedas and their supplementary litratures.
